Scam Company beware

As many others i too have been taken in by this company. My original order arrived with no problems. I received what i had ordered. But i have now received emails on two occasions stating that my order had been received. This is totally untrue as i had not ordered any more as i didn’t need any more and on both occasions money had been taken from my account. It seems that by just opening their emails an order is instigated.

Just like everybody else

Just like everybody else, my order was processed without my permission, I had ordered one set @ 13.75, filled in payment details and that’s when it came up with increased options and I got scared and came off the site without confirming my order, then I get a confirmation order for £81 ! Cancelled order straight away, I have an e mail confirming my request to cancel within 4 minutes yet some 4 hours later they send despatch details. This company cannot be allowed to get away with this, can we not all get together and do something to fight back ??
Just to update I have been refunded for my order

I wouldn't give them any stars. They are a fake shoddy company. They NEVER LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER. IVE HAD EXACTLY THE SAME EXPERIENCE AS THESE OTHER PEOPLE. IM GOING TO CONTACT TRADING STANDARDS AND HOPEFULLY GET THEM SHUT DOWN.

The company are dishonest and have no compunction about lying to you. I placed an order but on checking I found I had been tricked into ordering too many. I contacted their customer services who said I could cancel up to 12 hours after placing my order. As instructed I confirmed I wanted to cancel and adonly30 mins had passed it should’ve honoured. Instead they got back and said my order had been dfspatched. They continuously lied to me about this and refused to refund me and cancel the order. The knee braces are rubbish, offer no support and after a few days do not stay in place. Do not waste your time and money on this shoddy company

Same as everyone else- website is a trap and adds more items than you want to your order. Emailed them immediately but ‘ my order has already been despatched’ surprise surprise. Have reported to PayPal and waiting for a response

Conmen

Absolute joke ..ordered 2 braces for both knees. Tried one on and it was so uncomfortable and wouldn't stay in place. Tried to return items and the company has tried to get me to take a percentage to keep items. Now the want me to return to USA to get a refund ..item didn't even come from the USA. I was quoted £27 to return 2 braces complete joke. Anytime social media have an advert for this item is will be posting underneath about this scam

Do not order from these scammers!

Do not order from these scammers! They have a very clever way of taking your money. You put your bank details in for the item you want, then they keep adding the option of extra items on. I got to a point where l had no choice but to just leave the site and they still took my money as I'd already inputted my bank details.

I have recently ordered a knee brace…

I have recently ordered a knee brace and the patches and have just checked my bank account to see that wellnee have charged me £150+ for several different orders. I have no email confirmation so I have no order number either therefore I cannot conact anyone in the company to make an enquiry. I am devastated as I do not have that sort of money to waste

The brace is not suitable

The brace is not suitable. They have refused to refund my money,saying the brace once out of the pack cannot be return or that refund cannot be given .That's there policy.So how else can people know if the brace is suitable if they can't try it on.

This company are just a bunch of conmen

As others have said, they are just conmen.Do not buy from them. I was only scrolling and looking at the product but got a bill for five items i did not want, contacted them immediately to cancel and they replied with an email trying to persuade me to have a thirty percent reduction. I told them to cancel the whole thing but they say they have shipped it anyway today, i have raised the dispute with Paypal , who were very helpful and said this happens a lot. Apparently they had also had set up a subscription with a direct debit which Paypal have cancelled. This was not mentioned on the invoice.So beware, if I had not spoken to Paypal , I would not have known about the subscription!

Like many others I only ordered one…

Like many others I only ordered one product and received six. There is no communication to the company regarding queries. I informed my bank after my experience. They were well aware of the scam/con with other clients in the past, an ongoing situation. As for the products in question, useless!

Beware of this company

Beware of this company!!!
I was charged for '5' straps instead of '1'
A total of £61.85 was taken in two amounts of £21.90 & £39.95 on the same day from my bank account. Numerous emails have remained unanswered, very dubious. The straps are rubbish and not fit for purpose.
I have now lodged a complaint to my bank to try and get a refund. Nightmare and playing havoc with my anxiety, why are these companies allowed to scam in broad daylight? Please someone intervene and help us out.

Do not buy from this company

Like many others, I ordered 1 pack of knee patches, when I got the email from Wellnee I had been charged for 5!! I immediately contacted them and asked them to stop the order as I only ordered 1 packet and been charged for 5!

I immediately contacted American Express to bring it to their attention and now have put in a fraud claim against this company. I do wish I had read the reviews first!

How are companies allowed to trade like this? I will never buy anything like this on line again - I will go to my local chemist instead.

Do not buy anything from this company they are very dishonest I ordered one knee brace they charged me for 3 and would not give me a refund when I saw the mistake on my order I let them know well within the 12 hours they give you to change it they would not do it Also the knee brace does not work it is complete rubbish

Very disappointed—scammed like so many others.

Good Day!

Thank you for a moment of your time. I just wanted to let you know that my husband and I had not noticed the many complaints on BBB about their individual experiences with ordering knee pads from Wellnee.

—Before I completed the order, I had changed my mind and decided to delete it. However, Wellnee processed it as an order before it was even completed.

—I tried to “cancel the pre-mature order”, but Wellnee said it was too late—the purchase had been processed immediately.

—It appears that we were all deceived into thinking we were to receive a high quality product (specifically what we ordered), but instead received extra items we did not order and were charged for these unwanted items as well.

—In addition, my husband did not even “use” his product, but Wellnee would not accept the return to be refunded, because the package was “opened”. We had no choice but to “open it” because it was “required” by Wellnee in the email conversation (to send a photo of product “outside” of the packaging).

—Wellnee did say that they would NOT refund us 100% (as promised in their ad), but would refund us 50% minus the shipping and handling fees. We could keep the item(s) and not worry about the hassle of returning the product(s).

—Our opinion: we feel we have been scammed by Wellnee. Wellnee wins big by unloading their products (which are not effective) while still making a profit—even if it is 50% +/- less than they charged us initially.

One very positive attribute was their customer service emails. They were warm and friendly.
This, however, doesn’t change the fact that we’ve been scammed/mislead/cheated.

I thanked them again for their time and effort concerning their response! I pray their business practices become legit and fair. 🙏🏽

Terrible customer service/ill-suited refund policy

After wearing the Wellnee knee brace for half a day, it made my skin behind my knee red, swollen and itchy so I was unable to use it. I was refused a refund because their policy states that they only refund unopened, unused items. I didn’t know that my skin was going to react to the material and didn’t notice in the description a warning that the material could potentially cause a reaction to sensitive skin. All policies can be flexible to accommodate anomalies that unexpectedly arise, so in my opinion the company Wellnee are exploiting customers by not refunding goods due to them being opened and tried on which is classed as being worn. I should have lied and said that the knee brace was no longer required and had not been opened but instead, I was truthful and expected a refund due to the unforeseen reaction I had to the material. Wellnee and their knee braces should come with a HAZARD WARNING. Stay clear and don’t let them make money by exploiting trustworthy honest customers.
