Dont waste your money

Through a pandemic, and now almost 10 years later I have paid this company $14.400 and did not have a return on my investment. In my category of cakes I realized that there are 97 total "companies" listed. What i consider to be a bakery is an actual storefront. Not home bakers. Out of 97 there are 57+ companies that are listed that list no address. So how do they consider themselves a company servings bakeries but are not official bakeries. So pre-covid I was paying $110 per month and then increased to $175 without my knowledge or some sort of notification, they call it a renewal. However, a renewal all the terms of the contract stay the same including the price unless notified-right? Nope there excuse is its on your dashboard...NOT ACCEPTABLE. I questioned this and that was my account executives response. I won many couples choice awards, however you have to pay $60+ dollars to get an official plaque. In order to win you need (5) reviews by clients, I received (3), not five and know that it was due to my renewal coming up. Once I made my complaints knows I got an influx of inquiries by potential clients, ALL GARBAGE. Not one out of the 20+ did any person get back and respond. In the past few years I have received several spam inquiries leading you along and then asking for personal information or wanting to add services and see if I took cheques. Their vetting process stinks. If you click on a vendor you are interested in I would get an email, but then the next day wedding wire would send three potential other vendors of the same category and email to contact them. NOT ACCEPTABLE. So the first page of vendors I was on that page, paid for it but the next six pages were all unpaid bakers, these people were "FREE" and did not have to pay monthly and they could list their starting price less than someone that actually is a professional and pays out the A** to be listed. I tried to cancel at the time and could not as my account executive said you cant cancel before the date.
I did cancel my account yesterday and she asked were there any reasons? I said many reasons and Hannah did not even take the time to ask why?? Some executive who really cares.
Wedding wire is the one that will get your SEO, you are not getting any of the benefit of that so its taking your money, very little return and throwing it out the window!

I’m having the same exact experience! I submitted my cancellation and. I one will respond. And when they did, they’re saying I need a month to cancel and that it’s too late. It looks like a class action lawsuit is inevitable…

Wedding Wire - GO, GIVE THOSE SCAMMERS-LIARS YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!
Wedding Wire doesn't care about you or your business, everything they want - just to rip you off.
I've been a full time photographer for 10+ years, used to work with magazines and European customers. I paid about $1000 for the year subscription and got ZERO real leads from Wedding Wire for the whole year. All I got, just 2-3 messages/calls where the person insisted me to give him my legal first and last name to send me checks, because "he wants to pay for a photographer now as a gift for his sister's wedding, but currently he's in Mexico and his secretary will send a check...bla bla..." More over, Wedding Wire representative keeps calling me every week all the time after year subscription got expired and I cancelled it. Also, I'm getting annoying emails from reps to continue subscription, and I keep blocking them. Also reps guaranteed me while signing me up, that 3000 brides looking into their photo-pages per day! What? And I got ZERO leads with my spectacular portfolio? Complete SCAM! LIARS! HAVE PROMISED LOTS OF LEADS WITHIN THE YEAR - GOT NOTHING for $1000!

They don't even look at fake leads they copy/paste to their vendors. In Julia Nikonchuk Photography I got lead as "we are looking for officiant minister..." Also, observe a date "July 02,1206"

Look into all screenshots, similar fake emails as "jennifersmith23@"

Sent cancellation notice on 2.1.23…

Sent cancellation notice on 2.1.23 stating end of the month we were cancelling. Sales rep “continued to conversation” with stats and her “shock” that we were canceling. Last week of month, scheduled call w sales rep to shut down our site. She stated cancellation was invalid because the “conversation continued to go back and forth”. Getting attorney involved as drafted payment from my bank for next month and refused to honor the cancellation notice.

Scammed by vendor & my review was REMOVED by WeddingWire

I was scammed by a vendor named “Joe” from “Professional DJ Services” on WeddingWire; I lost nearly $1000 and I had to find another DJ literally the day before my wedding! I posted a legitimate, honest, negative review of that vendor on WeddingWire. The vendor “disputed” it, and WeddingWire removed it from their site and informed me that if I ever repost it, it will be removed as well. This is a direct quotation from an email I received on 2/28/23 from “Casey” from a general company email address. “I absolutely understand why you would want to leave this review, however they must adhere to our Review Policy. If your review for this vendor is posted again, it will be removed. If you have any questions, please let me know.” I logged into my account, and I noticed that not only had my review of this vendor been removed, all of my message history with that vendor had been deleted as well. To my further dismay, a positive review I wrote about another of my vendors was also removed! I have never encountered such dishonesty, lack of ethics by a company before. I wish I had never used this website. After being scammed and losing so much money, and having chaos on my wedding day due to it, I wanted to at least give other couples the opportunity that I didn’t have to make an INFORMED decision when considering this vendor option. Maybe this vendor is actually a DJ, and maybe he does provide such services… I personally wouldn’t know because I was scammed in my own experience. He also demanded payment via Venmo and specifically demanded it be sent as being for “friends” so he could avoid fees, and little did I know, cleverly also to prevent me as a customer from having a way to dispute the charge due to a lack of the promised services being rendered. This was my experience with Professional DJ Services. If this review is removed due to being undesirable to the vendor, I will try to find other avenues to share my experience for the sake of others. I know I will never get my money back, but I hope to protect other people from the possibility of a similar misfortune due to misleading information in all of the positive reviews of this vendor… likely because the negative ones have all been removed.

We have been vendors for one year with…

We have been vendors for one year with zero panned out leads. Several have been validated as fake. Now we'd like to cancel and NO ONE will return emails or calls. Calling an attorney. Looks like all of us could join in...class action anyone??

They want their money no matter what

I had some interest in Wedding Wire and was reached out to by Polina Antsfield. She sent me a video and the presentation was good and I signed up the same day. Go forward a couple of months and I realized that my business was not doing so well so I decided to close my business and request that my account be cancelled and my business be taken off the webpage. Two months later and so far nothing has happened besides constant bills being sent to my bank for which it became overdrawn and the bank closed it. Every time someone called to collect, I told them that my business was closed and they would say that I should speak to Ms. Antsfield, she never returned my calls or emails.
Once again, I am no longer in business and all this company is concerned about is getting their money for services I never used. Once again please cancel my contract immediately.

I confirm what everyone else is saying…

I confirm what everyone else is saying about WeddingWire / Knot being a scam providing fake leads. How do I know this? Anyone that has contacted me has never replied to my messages and when I told WeddingWire I never get a response, magically some more leads would come in after but they were fake as well. Additionally, I track website referral traffic to see if I get traffic that converts to a paying customer. You guessed it, nothing. This whole company is a scam and should be shut down by authorities.

Update after WW reply:

This is not a unique situation. Look at all of the other reviews that say the exact same thing. This is a scam with fake leads that charge hard-working, small businesses with small margins for them. It's disgusting and shameful. The authorities need to shut down WW.

Scam portal

Don’t ever go for their vendors subscription program
They provide fake leads , leads which which never response
Even their executives will be behind you to take the subscription once the subscription is done
If you have prb
They will not refund your hard earn money

I wanted to sit down and let whom ever reads this that The Knot and Wedding Wire are TERRIBLE! They have no form of customer service, they will ONLY treat you if you have money to give to them, and flat out really care less about how your only big event of your life is going turn out! All they care about is the amount of services they can try to sell you. Not only this, but they lie to you! They guarantee you one thing and then when it comes down to starting to work on the clients event, they say "that's not what's in the contact". I am a vendor, so you can ONLY imagine what they do to their couples! The only thing I can suggest is I'm hoping that you're reading this, and read the small print on their "contract" especially if you're a vendor. Oh, and just to let you vendors know, you're stuck in a contact for 12 months.

Fake leads, just like all if not most of these comments

Fake leads just like everyone else who doesn’t pay top dollar. I will be contacting the federal trade commission for false advertising. I truly wish I did my research before I signed up for a year contract. & the fact that they can “accommodate to what you can afford monthly” but send fake leads is crazy to me.

Vendors beware!!!

Vendors beware!!!! This company is not for you!
I am a photographer who WeddingWire/TheKnot called to express how they thought my business was great and wanted to elevate it to the next level. We met over the phone and they made all sorts of comments about how I would get so many leads and I would easily be able to make the ROI. I signed up at $239 per month, but I have not gotten a single lead with them. Pretty much most of my leads have been scams, and the few genuine leads turned out to be price shoppers. I have expressed several times my dissatisfaction and they do not do anything, they just offer a phone call to go over things I am already aware of. I get more leads through Facebook for free than I do with WeddingWire for $239 a month! Vendors, if you get the call from them, don’t do it!!! You don’t need them, focus on SEO and you will make it.

Beware of Scam: Weddingwire Failed to Deliver on Promises

I was promised leads and a wider client base when I signed up with this company, but it turned out to be nothing but empty promises. Unfortunately, I had signed a one-year contract and was unable to get out of it. The few leads I did receive were not genuine, and one even managed to freeze my payment processing account, causing problems for future payments. Despite voicing my desire to cancel, my account manager insisted that I had to complete the contract. While they did help improve my profile, it was not enough to make up for the lack of results and the wasted money. By the end of the year, I had not gained any clients and was still facing issues with my payment process. Avoid this company at all costs.

This is a scam

This is a scam. They showcase how great the platform is and that you’ll get leads but I have shelled out $1k and received 0 leads. When bringing this to their attention and saying I want my money back because I was lied to, they say you have a year contract and we are here to help. Help!? I have to wait 3-5 weeks to arrange a meeting with anyone that can help while they siphon more money from my account. When asking to speak with manager, no response. Never use this platform. You are better spending time and effort anywhere else.

Not to be trusted

Wedding wire and wedding pro deliberately reject any negative reviews of planners, despite saying they want honest and transparent reviews. They are completely biased toward the vendors and their reviews should not be trusted.

Please be aware they scam and lie

For future customers please please be aware ofnthe shaming bussinesss this platform supports and advertise. They do not support their customers nor do they have any follow ups on bussiness that poorly handled they customers. They will remove you negative reviews to protect their platform. You are better off going through another platform that stands for integrity and true customer services.

Everything about this company is a lie

Everything about this company is a lie. We joined in November of 2021 for a ridiculous high price, we said we don't trust companies that require 12 month contracts. The sales rep said no problem... At the 30 day mark if you don't have great results you can cancel. Lie# 1. We were forced to stay in the 12 month contract... Each month we received 10-25 "leads". All were fake, none responded after our reply... We complained each month about this. . They just lied more! This company should be shut down! DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them!!! Run!
