Disappointing Experience – Unjust Denial of Accident Claim.

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Wau Miau (ERV). After my dog suffered a medical issue, two independent veterinarians confirmed that the condition was triggered by an accident. Despite this, Wau Miau insisted on classifying the situation as a breed-related disease, limiting the coverage to only 5,000 CHF per year.

This is far below the actual costs of the treatment, and it feels like the insurance company is not acknowledging the facts provided by qualified professionals. The refusal to recognize the condition as an accident, despite expert veterinary opinions, is both disappointing and unacceptable.

The process has been slow and unhelpful, and I am extremely dissatisfied with how my claim has been handled. I strongly urge anyone considering this insurance provider to think twice, as their claims process seems to prioritize minimizing payouts rather than providing the coverage that policyholders deserve.
