Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 123 reviews, reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers consistently praise the excellent quality of the products, highlighting their beautiful craftsmanship and functional design. Many appreciate the shift away from plastic, finding the wooden utensils and boards to be both aesthetically pleasing and effective in daily use. The customer service is frequently described as exceptional, with reviewers commending the staff's helpfulness, responsiveness, and pleasant demeanor in resolving any issues. While the majority of customers are delighted with their purchases, some reviewers noted that certain utensils, like the spaghetti server or ladle, were thicker than expected, making them less practical for specific tasks. A few people also expressed concern about the product's origin, suspecting they might be white-labeled from an Indonesian maker, despite being marketed by an Australian company. Additionally, one customer mentioned difficulty flipping pancakes with the wooden utensil due to its thickness compared to silicon alternatives.

Absolutely love the cutting boards

Absolutely love the cutting boards. My stand arrived with a slight issue but the staff immediately organised a replacement. They kept in contact throughout the process with updates. Received the replacement and over the moon with the quality and aesthetics of the set. Would highly recommend purchasing from this business.

Exemplary customer service from W&W!!!

From start to finish W&W have given exemplary customer service even when the original product didn't live up to its reputation.
Olly took on board the faults with the products and went above and beyond to rectify the issues immediately and sent replacement products without any delay.
I have no hesitation in recommending W&W based on my experience and only wish more companies would offer the customer service that is offered here.
Thank you Olly and the team

Excellent customer service

This Aussie company is an excellent example of you get what you pay for. Not only are the products excellent, the customer service is all class that can’t be faulted. Prompt response to my enquiries and a no problem response to any issues. We received our chopping boards and one had a small dent and it was rectified immediately with a replacement amongst other enquiries I made. The team are very helpful and want to provide a quality product and service. We love our new utensils and boards and I would highly recommend anyone to support this Aussie business.

Some great, some chunky

Most of these utensils are very thick and not really useful; spaghetti server, ladle and slotted spoon, I’m looking at you. There are a couple of really great ones that will be on high rotation, but it doesn’t look like it is possible to buy them separately. For the price (even at 50% off which is when I purchased), the whole bundle is not as good as I’d hoped.

Hi Trudy,

Thank you for the honest feedback, we really appreciate it.

A lot of our utensils are intentionally designed a little thicker and sturdier for durability and long-term use, though we completely understand that some people may personally prefer slimmer styles for certain utensils like ladles or spaghetti servers.

We’re really glad to hear there are a few pieces you’re loving and using regularly though 😊

Your feedback around offering some utensils individually is genuinely valuable as well, and it’s something we’ve been discussing more as our range grows.

Thanks again for giving us a try, loving some of our utensils and for taking the time to leave thoughtful feedback 🤍

Great Products and Great Service

Great products: functional, attractive and non-toxic! Great service too: when a delivery went astray (not the fault of W&W) they immediately helped me out with a replacement.

Throw out the plastic

It was so satisfying to throw my plastic utensils in the bin and know that it was the last time I’d add utensils to landfill. These wooden ones are so beautiful and functional.

Love the new teak utensils which…

Love the new teak utensils which replaced my entire old black plastic set. They’re awesome. Nice to hold and easy to clean. My experience extended to the teak chopping board splitting across the handle within a week or so but the team at Wattle & Wombat were so quick to approve and send me a new one….thankyou for making the purchase memorable. For the right reasons.

I treated myself

I treated myself to the teak utensil set last Christmas. These are perfect for my kitchen as i love the look of wood. My BF saw the set & then ordered some herself. Then her sister inlaw spotted her set over the Christmas holidays. Like us you'll be impressed with them.

Buy once, buy well- Wattle and Wombat make great wooden products.

We are slowly making the switch in our house to low tox products. I found Wattle and Wombat, an Australian owned and operated company.
I purchased the Teak wood 9 set of kitchen utensils.
These utensils are lovely to hold, terrific to use and give a satisfying " woody clunk" sound when using them.
These utensils are all teak wood, so no more nasty plastic or silicone in our food.
One spatula arrived slightly damaged, from the postage- I contacted Wattle and Wombat- sent photos- and the owner- Olly- emailed me straight away. I had a replacement utensil coming, free.
We now have our house motto- "Buy once, buy well". Just like my grandparents did.
Wattle and Wombat are a terrific company, and I have told all my friends and family to have a look too.

Wattle and wombat have changed my life

Wattle and wombat have changed my life! Their stunning utensil set looks bespoke in my kitchen making my old kitchen look dusty and in need of a serious upgrade! I am so utterly delighted by the quality and craftsmanship I also bought a set for my mother who I’m sure will be ecstatic with her gift. I’ll update you all once she’s received them! Can not be more happier! Fast delivery also!
