The removal itself was ok extremely rude customer service

The removal itself was ok. The customer service was quite bad. I don’t think I have ever been treated this was as a customer before. They gave me a wrong quote, which I wasn’t happy about. I fell put on the spot and not having much choice other than to agree as I needed the items removed. I got shouted at and accuse by being rude myself and the gentlemen threatened me by calling off the job.
I wouldn’t not use the service again

This review does not accurately reflect what happened, so we would like to clarify the facts.

The customer sent a photo of a sofa only and requested a quote. The price we provided was strictly for the sofa, based on the information and image received. After the quote had already been given, the customer later mentioned—within another part of the conversation—that there was an additional armchair, but no photo was ever sent for this item. Because of this, our staff reasonably quoted for the sofa only.

Once the additional armchair was identified on the day, the price was adjusted accordingly and explained clearly. At that point, the customer became rude and confrontational on the phone. Despite this behaviour, we remained professional and even offered to cancel the job and refund the deposit in full if the customer was unhappy with the revised price.

The customer refused the refund, insisted that the job proceed at the updated price, and continued to argue. Even though we had valid reasons to cancel due to the customer’s conduct, we still completed the job in good faith. As confirmed in the review, the removal itself was completed successfully.

We do not tolerate abusive behaviour toward our staff. Our team acted fairly, transparently, and offered every reasonable solution, including a refund. For this reason, we would not accept future work from this customer.

We stand by our pricing, our process, and our team.

Awful experience

The collection itself was fine, but the customer service was rude and unprofessional. I made the final payment about 15 minutes after they called me, which is perfectly reasonable, yet they became impatient and even made a disrespectful comment about me not having “common sense.” If they expect instant payment, they should say so upfront instead of speaking to customers that way. Or even charge everything upfront. Ridiculous approach.

Answer to the team:
You called me to let me know payment was due 11:19. I paid 11:34. That's exactly 15 minutes, which is reasonable until someone can reach a computer, type the details and check the dodgy link you sent (why was Paypal for the deposit and that weird link for the payment?). In the meantime you called me twice, I was in the process of doing it. If you don't communicate your customer that they have to pay in such a rush the minute you call them, you have to ask for payment in advance. Why did you charge only the deposit instead of the whole thing the day before? It would avoid this entire situation. If you were having any kind of issue within the property, this issue has to be communicated. I am not around to know the issues, hence why I said crystal ball. You lie when you said the context of the crystal ball was because I didn't know the payment was due. Your men told me it was because they weren't allowed in the building for 15/20 minutes, and I told them they should've told me and communicated the issue so I could help. If you don't communicate, there is no way I will know what's going on.

I treat people the way I am treated. You were not courteous, you were cornering me and harassing me for 15 minutes. You have communication issues and failed procedures that you need to revise. I have never experienced something like that. Everyone involved in my moving out, charged in advance. That's what you should be doing instead of the embarrassing situation you created today.

We are not gonna go anywhere, at this point you're just embarrassing yourselves by exposing the reason I gave you in private on whatsapp because you were harassing me non stop. I don't care that you said this, but think about future customers of yours reading this ridiculous answers. This is a joke!

If anyone has the patient to read this ridiculous thread, they will be running away from you. You need to grow up as a company and be professional. This is childish.

Our records show that the job took over 40 minutes — four times longer than expected — and payment was not made until around 20 minutes after completion, despite three follow-ups. Each time, our staff was told, “I’ll do it now.” When they contacted you again to confirm, they were met with rudeness and disrespect.

Our staff never made any offensive remark. When you said you didn’t know payment was due and mentioned not having a “crystal ball,” our employee simply responded that “it’s common sense to pay once a service is completed” — which is a fair and professional statement.

We stand by our team for handling the situation calmly and courteously. We are always happy to clarify payment terms in advance, but we also expect basic courtesy toward our staff, who are only doing their job.

And the answer to your review:

The first couple of times when we asked you about the payment, you said you're gonna do it now.

After that, when you made the payment, you said you were in the toilet. That's why you couldn't do it.

Now you're mentioning that you've been in the middle of doing it. Madam, please make up your mind.

Everything is very simple. If you say I will make the payments now. You're making it now. If you say I will make the payment in 15 - 20 minutes, that is still OK. We will wait for you for 20 minutes. You are simply misleading our team. They have to confirm the payment with the accounts. Accounts have to come back to them and ask them what's happening, is it coming or not; they're thinking that there is an issue with the link... these are in-house things that you don't really know. I really thank you for teaching us how to do business. We will take note of that. But please, take a note that when you say something, you do it as you say it!

Awful

Awful.Firstly was given a time slot and was not called to say they were running late. I had to call them for an update. Obviously cant read. I specifically told them there was no where to park outside my house. The person I spoke to was rude and called me a child when I tried to resolve the situation. Would never use them again!

This morning I woke up to a long abusive text from them telling me im now blacklisted.

There was no parking available at your location, yet our team went out of their way and even parked on two yellow lines to collect your rubbish, taking on the risk of a fine. Despite arriving slightly later than planned due to factors beyond our control—such as traffic and staff availability—we still collected everything on the same day.

We must also address your behavior toward our staff. Our team was met with shouting and rudeness, which is completely unacceptable. We always treat our customers with respect and professionalism, and we expect the same courtesy in return.

It would have been simple to refund your deposit and allow you to arrange an alternative service, yet we still ensured the collection was completed. We are confident that very few, if any, companies would have been able to complete this job under these circumstances for the price we offered.

I found the guys that came were rude…

I found the guys that came were rude and didn't want to listen to me talked over everything I was trying to explain to them. And when they left after first load i had to go bank! They even patronisingly showing me how to shut a door just to leave it wide open!! just wow just left it wide open when then when I tried to explain what they did wrong they didn't seem to care about anything i had to say unless its about the money he also and had ago for adding more stuff which I didn't do the carpet was clearly there when I showed him the room I would definitely not use this company again. I don't wish to be spoken too like crap in my own flat when I'm paying you £800 for the Job. You need to learn to listen to the customer especially when you do something wrong and stop talking to us like crap to. He did the electric all by his self and told me he would do it I said I would do it because its dangerous but he said he would do it get your facts straight before you try and make my comments seem like im being out of order when im not and stating facts all the extra he did off his own back and with attitude. And you ripped me off with £800 and now you saying you should have charged me more for the extra work that your staff chose to do there self when I already said I was doing it if they actually listen to anything I said or my misses we wouldn't have had to put such a bad comment but don't start accusing your customers of doing something they didn't or act like you tried to do us a favor that's a joke

On this day, one of our staff members had limited English, as the usual colleague who speaks fluent English was off sick. Despite this, our team never acted rudely—they were polite and professional throughout.

During the job, the driver even completed an electrical task that was not part of the service and did so free of charge, using his own experience, without confronting you or charging extra. The team focused only on the rubbish collection and pricing, and they acted to help, not to cause any issues.

We were never contacted directly about any concerns during or after the job, and it is always preferable to reach out if there is a problem rather than assuming rudeness. Our staff aim to listen, help, and provide a fair service, and we take customer feedback seriously.

We value clear communication and always strive to resolve any issues respectfully, but we do not tolerate accusations of mistreatment when our team has gone above and beyond to assist.

Part 2: We’ve reviewed your updated comments and, while we respect your right to share your experience, we must address the tone and content.
Your update contains language and behaviour that we find unnecessarily rude and aggressive. Based on this, we’re beginning to believe that our team actually handled the situation professionally and did their job well under difficult circumstances. It’s unfortunate that their efforts—including going beyond what was required—have been met with hostility.


To clarify: the full price of the job was communicated clearly before the work began, and you have agreed, you always could have said Sorry, I don't want the service. And we were going to restore your deposit! As for the electrical work, our driver offered help as a courtesy, not as part of the paid service. It’s disappointing to see that this gesture was met with criticism rather than appreciation.

If you were feeling in this way. You were just supposed to give us a call on the day, and we were going to resolve the situation. Then and there. We were prepared to refund your deposit despite our non-refundable policy. If you had chosen to cancel the job calmly, this could have been resolved without escalation.

We’re starting to feel that the negative tone of your review may stem from something beyond the actual service provided. We always aim to treat our customers with respect and expect the same in return. If there were genuine concerns, we would have appreciated a calm and constructive conversation rather than public accusations and offensive language.
We remain committed to fairness and transparency in all our bookings.

They were refusing to give me deposit back

I put in a deposit to get a waste collection, however they were not free for the timings I had put my deposit in for, so I ended up finding another service.
I asked what to do to get my deposit back, and asked to be contacted by email, as I can't take calls at the moment.
It's been 10 days, so I finally have the time to call, and I was met with a very defensive stance, and rude treatment.
In the end of the day the service was not granted, I should be getting the deposit back. However, I was being told that the deposit was non-refundable, but this wasn't communicated to me prior.
They also use WhatsApp as a way to do bookings, and then get the drivers to contact you, and you have to repeat all the information again, and it gets very convoluted.
I don't trust businesses like this, it feels like they were just trying to stay with my money.
I have now asked for a refund through paypal.
I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone.

Wrong information from company

Firstly, this was booked in for next day at a quote for £170, not the same day. There was no plastic apart for 10 small rubble bags as shown in photos that were requested and sent. They were in front of the decking to be collect and clear in the photos. I called multiple times after the time booked in with no response for a few hours after booked time and was told they were running behind. I was then booked in for the same time next day. When they turned up at looked at what had to be removed we were then quoted £340. We did NOT have anything removed and cancelled the job.
