Wonderful cinema experience
Wonderful cinema experience. Great friendly informative staff. Wonderful seats and easy parking. Very good value. Easily the best Vue I have been too and right up there with the best cinema experiences. Excellent sound in the cinema as well. I hope many people attend and appreciate this cinema as much as me
Breaking The Law?
I am utterly appalled as I scrutinise Vue's Head Office.
Pls note my local Vue cinema has shown professionalism and genuine empathy towards vulnerable customers like myself.
But when it comes to their head office, I am left infuriated by their blatant moral failings. I genuinely believe their policies are in direct breach of the Discrimination Act 2010, and that is unforgivable.
I refuse to allow this to go unanswered. I will be reporting this misconduct to Trading Standards and taking every necessary step to hold them to account.
This means I will be going to the Regulatory Body that this industry in due course.
Absolutely ridiculous company!
Absolutely ridiculous company!
I was given a Vue gift card. My nearest Vue is 28 miles away so I wanted to book online, to make sure I had confirmed seats.
BUT, the Vue website won't let you use a gift card online!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I then spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to book via the phone- getting through to a person is almost impossible because their awful AI (called Kernal!) tals so flipping much...apparently their customer service person also cannot take a booking with a gift card over the phone. He told me that gift cards are only meant for people who live locally to a Vue cinema- I can't seen that in the Ts&Cs but I will be sure to tell the person who bought me the gift card not to trouble themselves next time as I am not local to that chain of cinemas.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS COMPANY AND I WILL MAKE SURE I NEVER USE ONE OF THEIR CINEMAS AGAIN! Judging from the reviews on here, many people also think poorly of Vue.
Unintended donation
Had a popup for a 5 pound donation which I accidentally paid because it showed immediately after my normal payment. Wasn't warned for it, couldn't get it back right at the spot. Have to call some phone number written on the smallest piece of paper, of which they had hundreds just ready (I wonder why)
Today
Today, while at the cinema with my family, a couple of people sat behind us behaving very indecently. After the movie ended, when the lights came on, it turned out to be a Jewish mother with three teenage girls. Nothing more, nothing less.
There is robbery
There is robbery, corruption and fraud. I think this company specialises in all three. £6.20 for a regular Pepsi (draft) £3.48 for a bottle of water and £8+ for a large sweet pop corn. Coupled with outdated uncomfortable seats will ensure I dont go back again. Leamington Spa.
Terrible
Tried booking online, tried to sign up to join, first it says booking expired, it took me a few minutes, then a link sent didn't work, asked for another one-not sent!! Why so difficult??
Discrimination. Leicester Square in London. Avoid Vue
Go to Cineworld or Odeon instead.
Terrible experience at Vue Leicester Square – avoid if you have accessibility needs.
My wife and I visited Vue Leicester Square recently, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences we’ve had at a cinema - especially as people with accessibility needs. Their customer service agents just don't care.
Before buying tickets, I specifically asked about accessible facilities and was told where the nearest accessible toilet to the screen was. But when we got there, we were told those toilets were reserved for a private event. To make things worse, at least three sets of escalators (minium one direction per escalator) and the lift were all out of order. The only available toilets were either two floors up or three floors down, and every route involved at least one broken escalator.
Because of this, my wife ended up falling on one of the escalators. I reported the incident to Vue straight away. It then took them three months and three different attempts on my part - emails, phone calls, and online chats - just to get a response. When they finally replied, they basically said they didn’t believe me because their staff hadn’t logged the incident. They also claimed that out-of-service escalators are considered suitable as stairs for disabled guests. I couldn’t believe it.
To make matters worse, because they took so long to respond, the CCTV footage that could’ve backed up our account was no longer available. I also raised concerns about a customer service rep who flat-out refused to log my complaint and kept ignoring me - that was never addressed either. She was also reluctant to give me the ticket number for my initial complaint.
No apology. No accountability. Not even an acknowledgment of what happened. The whole experience felt discriminatory and dismissive. Their customer service seems more focused on covering for each other than actually helping people. If you or someone you care about has accessibility needs,
I’d strongly recommend avoiding Vue.
Discrimated against disability
Vue Blackburn.
What an absolute disgrace to the disabled user. When I booked the tickets a month ago, there was no mention that the lift was out of order. Had this been notified, I would have gone elsewhere. I have trouble with stairs due to my disability. The sign indicated that the lift was out of order when we arrived, so I had no choice but to climb the stairs. It was difficult and painful, and I had to stop 3 times on the way up to rest. Once upstairs, I approached a staff member and asked if there was a staff/stock lift to get back down, as my only way down would be to sit on my bottom like a child and almost slide down the stairs. The response from Mark, the manager, was a shrug of the shoulders and "oh well, that's not my problem". I was made to feel inadequate because I am disabled, and was left embarrassed and in tears. I didn't stay to watch the film; I couldn't wait to get out of there.
Safe to say I won't be returning and definitely don't recommend, especially if you're disabled.
I recently visited the Vue cinema star…
I recently visited the Vue cinema star city, The experience was awful, me and my family went to watch five nights at freddy, The movie was ruined by a large group of males, who were talking and making alot of noise, there was also 2 females who were talking and also making alot of noise, During the movie no member of staff did any random checks, I complained to management at the end, I was told you should've come out and complained, I explained there was 8-12 males and by doing so my family would possibly be in danger, there was no response, I have contacted customer service, who apologised for my bad experience, but they also didn't acknowledge that by reporting the males, it would've possibly put myself and my family in danger. So overall very bad experience. This type of behaviour by inconsiderate people, who ruin movies for others, there isn't a safe reporting option, like a phone you can message or call to let staff know if there' s any issues. I doubt I'll be going there again.
1 Star for Food counter.4 star for vue movie experience in Vue…
4 star for vue movie experience in Vue HARROW
but i would give 1 star for vue harrow Experience while buying Drinks at the counter.
Booked movie (Dhurandhar 9.50pm show 6th sept)
Young Girl who was helping guy who was operating till found very rude without any reason.continuesly giving a look and while handing out ordered drink to us before i say anything she said "Your welcome"
Clearly not for customer service roles.
Romford still needs looking into!
We still visit Romford Vue regularly as its our local. Happy now that someone is always at the bottom of the escalator entrance to check everyone's tickets as lots of people getting in for free. Unfortunately its always one person in particular that never has a phone/handset to scan my bar code instead she always snatches my mobile out if my hand which i find unacceptable no one takes your phone and starts scrolling looking for your ticket. We are now prepared when she is working, my husband politely says I can hold my mobile and show my QR Code. Please give her a scanner snatching mobiles out of everyone's hand in the queue is not right and quite rude. On a brighter note nice to see the self serve screens have now gone for food and drink, being served at the desk is so much better.
Avoid !!
Shocking system lost £27 not even asked for a refund just a credit note to re book but Vue are insisting on being difficult making it impossible to get any help at all very poor service
They give their best to satisfy their…
They give their best to satisfy their customers
Terrible customer service and extortionate prices
Took a while to be acknowledged when I walked in. When I eventually was asked "How can I help?" it was done without a smile and clearly I was interrupting the two staff members going about their business, how inconsiderate of me!
I was charged £12.50 for a seat in the middle which is extortionate. The advert of "From £5.99" is so misleading. This is right down the front where you're practically wearing the screen! In hindsight I should have purchased the cheapest ticket and just sat anywhere the screen was SO empty (not surprised!). The seating chart colours aren't that clear especially for colourblind people like me.
Then I had to wait for someone to take my ticket, eventually asking back at the front desk where they were. Finally someone appeared and told me then that the boiler was broken and it was "a bit chilly in there" laughing!!! Bit chilly was an understatement, it was bloody freezing. I sat through the film with my coat and jumper on and having to put my jumper over my lower face to keep warm, ridiculous! Had I known this in advance, at the front desk, I wouldn't have bothered.
When I left I was fuming but there was no-one around to speak to, everyone had pretty much packed up to go home.
Trying to contact Customer Service is a joke. There's no contact details on the Vue website, you have to contact them through social media. After 2-3 days of messaging on Twitter I eventually got a reply basically telling me there's nothing they could do, I should have spoken to someone before leaving. There's no notices in the cinema to say this! So no chance of a refund. The person on Twitter was no help at all. After a couple more days I followed up and got no response.
No wonder cinema is dying. Absolute joke, I will definitely be avoiding Vue in the future, especially Redditch
The Vue
The Vue - Harrow was very disappointing because the adverts before the film was extremely loud and was uncomfortable which spoilt the visit to this cinema. It was dangerous to your hearing and when it came on there was no warning which was shocking. It was a pity because the film was very enjoyable.
Crap customer service
Crap customer service, they don't care. Go to another cinema
Freezing Cold Cinema
I went to see Wicked for Good at Vue Norwich on Monday with a friend. The showing was at 19:15 in Screen 7. The cinema was absolutely freezing. My friend had her scarf on, hood up and coat on and I had my coat on top of me. The other people on the row were all wrapped up too. It really spoilt our enjoyment of the film. I thought that maybe this was a one off blip and the heating wasn't working in the cinema Monday evening, but my adult daughter went to Vue Norwich the other day and she said it was freezing cold too. There were no signs up to say there were heating problems.
Filthy and poor sound in Stroud Vue. Customer services rude and unhelpful
Complained to customer services regarding filthy seating and issue with speakers rattling through songs in the movie. CS essentially denied that the speakers were anything but perfect, acknowledged the dirty seats in need of a deep clean. Thoroughlygaslit by CS and offered no compensation /apology. Rude.
Booked VIP tickets to see the Conjuring…
Booked VIP tickets to see the Conjuring however the seats hadn't been cleaned and popcorn strewn everywhere.
