We had a great experience with vivarent. It is true that we did not have to deal with any problems and we took full insurance from the beginning. I have to especially mention Giuseppe from the Rome - Termini branch. He was very helpful, helpful and tried to accommodate us in everything. To make us feel safe, as we were a family with a 2 year old boy, he booked an almost new Fiat Panda for us. If we were to book a car in Rome and the surrounding area in the future, we would not hesitate to contact vivarent.it and Giuseppe again (especially after reading about other rental companies). Thank you again.

But I don't know how things would have turned out if we did not have full insurance and something had to be done. Overall thanks!

Everything was ok. I could rent a car out-of-hours, so we managed it in advance the day before. We arrived at 1:00 am. and got a shuttle from the terminal to the pickup location very fast.  The car was almost new, clean, and in very good condition.  I really recommend Vivarent in Fiumicino.

Fake reviews, not recommended

The termini office was lovely and the gentleman who helped us get our car gave us a fantastic deal! He was very flexible. Truly a great experience.

Nadia was so knowledgeable and respectful - very helpful with all the questions I asked. I would rent from here again and recommend to others coming that way.

Terrible terrible horrible company. They gave us a dirty car without mandatory snowchains. When returning the car they made me pay for cleaning the car we received dirty to begin with. This is a new low in car rental. Instead of faking damage they now charge for cleaning. I will never ever rent here again.

We took the car from Rome Airport on 27th Nov 2025, excellent car and good service at time of pick up. Photos and videos of the car were taken by the company representative as well as by us. Car Peugeot 2008 model was a nice car, when we returned our car in as good condition as we got it at Naples airport on 1st dec the company representative there on inspecting the car marked at 4 small white dots on the windscreen and told me that i had damaged the windscreen and charges would be anywhere from 1000 to 1800 euros. The smallest of these pinholes less than 0.2mm in dia and not visible to the naked eye were neither captured by their company person at Rome and neither did we bother to check the windscreen with a magnifying glass. It clearly seemed like a modus operandi to fleece the customer, mind you we took insurance all paid from discovery cars for which we paid extra however the company person told me that it was between us and discovery cars to claim the insurance and they were in no way involved. I showed here similar dots on all her cars lying in the yard and she said it happens on the highway, mind you almost all their cars had similar white dots and she said its there on all cars and happens on the highway. It is a clear case of mistrust and cheating by the company and we would never recommend anyone to avail services of vivarent as their target will be either to sell you their own insurance or to put you on whimsical claims like these. As of now we have signed a protest letter and we hope better sense prevails with the company and they don’t harass like this

We took the car at Rome airport which was fast and easy, good service. When we returned it in Termini station, the person at the rent office required that we either take the car to the car wash or pay him 25 Euro, since it's hard for him to wash the car himself in the city. After we argued this was not the rent terms and not an acceptable request he let us go without paying extra. This was really upsetting.

Very helpful in setting up new rental and assisting with changes. Unfortunately, we had an accident but they reaction was great and very very helpful.

Car with damage all around, but the worst part was the return. They found a stone chip in the windscreen with less than millimeter and invoiced a windscreen für 980 €.
For the airport Pickup service they didn’t have a driver.

We're group of 7 with 7 medium luggages & 3 carryon. We got Hyundai Staria for one way trip from Fiumicino Airport to Sorrento, n it was an excellent choice. Car was spacious & in good condition. The process from picking up at the airport & returning the car at Sorrento was easy & fast. We even booked again during our return to Rome 4days after. Really recommended this service if u're travelling out of town with elderly : hassle free on baggages & time.

I travel to Italy often and always rent a car. Usually the best deal gets my business and fingers crossed about service. In this case, I believe it was Fadi who I had the pleasure to work with. He took care of everything quickly and efficiently. I had a spotless car in perfect working order. I even told me the absolute best place for cappuccino and cornetti nearby...it was so good. Thank you Vivarent!

Nothing to complain about, only that I prefer to have fuel plain and return it plain.

The car was good, the service was not so much, they are the only company that demands international license and international license document

Rental process was very easy and they were great to deal with. Car was clean and the proper size that we had ordered. All in all a good experience.
