Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. Several hundred people served food in a tiny 10x50 space with only 12 chairs. Hours of standing. And for the sound check experience we had to stand in the isle near the sound board 150’ from the stage. Really crummy!

Read The Fine Print

We purchased the VIP Package for Riley Green at Red Rocks. When you think of a VIP room, you think of a nice, pleasant experience with all details worked out to make everyone who spent a lot of money happy.

We get to the room 15 minutes into the time allotted and it's packed with people (which is fine and understandable). The buffet table is set up with some good food and a bar area is ready to serve drinks. But where would one sit to enjoy a meal and drinks? ON THE FLOOR!

That's right, there were enough chairs and tables for about half the people in the room. So people had to resort to sitting on the floor!

Again, a lot of money was spent on the package which included food and one "free" drink. One would think there would have been enough planning to accommodate everyone who purchased.

When I sent an email to VIPNation, I was dismissed with "As this was a sold-out show, the lounge was at full capacity, and unfortunately we cannot guarantee seating for every guest. That said, all advertised elements of your VIP package were fulfilled."

Rubbish service

Bought 4 VIP early access Drake tickets for the 21st July in Birmingham which included merch etc as part of the VIP package. Paid a lot of money for these tickets!! They didn't have the merch on the night said there was a delay with it and would be sent out to our home address, over a week later still nothing and no help from ticket master!! Compete con!! Tickets were bought via Ticketmaster who said they’re sold on behalf of VIPNATION and to contact them, all round an extremely poor serve. No response from their customer service when I’ve emailed them several times!! Absolute rubbish service!! Anyone else not received theirs?

What a ripoff

We elected the Kubrick experience. What a ripoff. First, unclear instructions sent via email 2 days before the show. “If you arrive after 4 pm, you will miss the early entry walk.” What's early entry walk? We arrived promptly at 4 pm and got access to the stadium. That's it.

Basically the whole thing is an opportunity for you to arrive unnecessarily early hours before the show starts to spend money at the stadium. No drinks, no apps, nothing except you're put into an enclosed area where none of the concession stands open until 5 pm and you're allowed nothing more than to be in a shorter line to buy merch. To be clear, no free merch, just a shorter line.

Oh, you do get a metal cup and a canvas bag. Unfortunately, the metal cups aren't allowed in the stadium so although VIP Nation is supposed to give them to you when you register outside the stadium, you had to pick them outside after the show. Since our seats were in the opposite direction of the "VIP" entrance and we didn't want to go back and fight the crowds, we ended up with nothing.

It's a total scam.

This company will make every excuse in…

This company will make every excuse in the book not to give you your VIP merch!
I saw Blink 182 in August and they have time and time again given me a new excuse as to why I haven't received my VIP merch package yet. First they said that the VIP merch is sent out two - three weeks after the last tour date, (my show was their last stop), then they said there was a hurricane and were unable to sent out the merch and now they are saying Canadian postal strike. I have been to other concerts since this one and have had no issues with other vendors in getting my merch well before and early afterwards. Can I also note that their most recent excuse is the postal strike because I'm in Canada. I mentioned to use Fed Ex or Purolator as this issue doesn't effect these companies. I recently saw Taylor Swift in Vancouver and the VIP merch shipped from the US to Canada and I received it 2 weeks prior to my concert. Unsure why this vendor is causing so many issues for its clients. I will no longer be purchasing VIP tickets to venues if I see that VIP nation is providing the merch as I fear it will never come and they have proven to be very unreliable. Be transparent with your clients from the beginning and stop making excuses.

I paid a lot for the experience but did…

I paid a lot for the experience but did not receive the promised pre-event email with the needed information. I tried to contact vip nation by email & phone. I was placed on an indefinite hold that was never answered & no other response! I feel so angry & scammed! This was supposed to be a special experience for my special needs daughter!

Terrible

I had a family emergency and while I was able to make it to the show I was not able to make it to the check in window. I tried contacting someone during the show with no luck and then was told afterwards that they would not ship my (very expensive) merch package to me, even if I offered to pay for shipping. Not sure how ethical (or even legal) it is to just keep merchandise that I already paid for, but my recommendation is to avoid VIP Nation at all costs.

VIP for Nickelback on the Get Rollin…

VIP for Nickelback on the Get Rollin tour. I emailed them to see what included a meet and greet as I was willing to get a seat ticket to meet them over the pit ticket, was told they aren't doing a meet and greet. Bought a pit ticket, found out they are doing meet and greets. Emailed them back and asked if I could pay the difference since I was lied to. They said no I would need to buy a whole new ticket. They are my favorite band and always try for front row at there shows.

VIP Nation for Incubus Concert in Colorado Springs, CO - Worst VIP experience ever!

VIP Nation for Incubus in Colorado Springs = Worst VIP experience ever!

08/27/23 First my original account for the VIP had my nickname on it. I had changed it everywhere when buying the tickets & VIP but the VIP still used my nickname as the attendee. Well you cant do that for the VIP. Everything must match. Completely understandable so I asked to change the names which the confirmation email even says that you can do before the show (& this was weeks before). Well they decided I couldnt do that. It should have been right when ordering. It was right when I placed the order but their stupid site changed it back to my nickname

After arguing for days & realizing they werent going to fix it I created a new account with another email so that everything was in my legal name. It worked & I considered everything done while I was out a substantial amount of money for a freaking VIP experience. Then come to find out I didnt need ID to get in at the concert so I didnt need to mess with any of this or purchase it twice

Then came the wait for the VIP instructions. Those arrived by email at the absolute last minute the night before after I called & emailed every few hours starting 5 days before the show. Not a single response or help to get this resolved earlier so that we could plan our trip ahead of time. We were left to plan the night before

At the show the lines were a mess & we were left out front in the rain far more often than we were inside. We were brought inside to watch the sound check which was very cool & then ushered out of the arena again to wait for our photo op which seemed pointless & didnt feel anything like a VIP experience. I didnt expect to hang with the band the entire time but how was there not a VIP lounge or something where we could wait and get drinks? Oh we also weren’t allowed to buy drinks early so we went hours without anything. Security & cops were treated more like VIP than the actual customers who paid for VIP but whats new about that?

Finally we "met" the band for about 10 seconds for a group picture even though I purchased 3 SEPARATE VIP experiences. I wanted 3 SEPARATE PICTURES considering THAT'S WHAT I PAID FOR and I expected to meet the band not sit in chairs in front of them with a table between us & our backs to them. The VIP a&nd venue employees rushed us to the point that we had no idea what to do. & once finished we were again told to go outside & wait for the early entrance. What was VIP about sitting outside of the arena 80% of the time? Especially in the rain for over an hour? & then we were taken inside AFTER everyone else including general admission. As VIP?!

Horrible experience. Ive adored Incubus for over 20yrs & this hurt. I honestly dont think I would ever do this again simply because of this awful experience. I will say that Juan (from VIP Nation) seemed to try to make everything work for us onsite & he argued with the venue about us being out in the rain but to no avail (thanks to the insane amount of security & cops taking up all the room inside). He either actually cared or he is a great actor but he seemed as angry as the rest of us

Me being out twice as much money thanks to VIP Nation & the arena was the worst part of the experience. Devastated that this happened & we were screwed out of what shouldve been the coolest experience of our lives. The show was incredible. VIP was an absolute letdown. The only cool thing was talking to the band for 5 seconds (from behind our backs since we couldnt even look at them before we were rushed out). Im left highly unsatisfied. Even our horrid VIP “group” picture was a waste of money. We look like crap thanks to being rushed. I dont even want it. I cropped myself out so that my friends could at least have a separate picture to show off since paying for 3 VIP experiences doesnt actually give you 3 VIP experiences

Sorry Incubus but so long as you use VIP Nation we will never again pay for the experience. Worst memory ever

Terrible experience

Terrible experience, even worse customer service. Paid for Larry June VIP experience and was told at the venue the only item they had on hand was a VIP lanyard when a shirt, signed poster, CD and other items were apart of the package. The VIP Nation individuals selling merchandise at the venue didn’t care, they said there was nothing they would do and advised those of us waiting to email the customer service address. A week later, the address sent a email stating they would not be able to send the items out until several weeks after the tour ended, which equates to atleast 5 months. On what planet does an organization believe this is acceptable? I’d suggest avoiding them unless you want to gamble with your money as several others in line were told the same lie and left empty-handed.
