Pathetic scam attempt

There is nothing legitimate about this. They contact people who have never even heard of them, let alone submitted anything to them, and try and persuade them to give a keynote address at a fake conference. Their English language skills are sorely lacking, and the two 5-star reviews posted here on Trustpilot are very obviously written by poor English speakers who were desperate to claim that they had presented in a "scientific" conference. It is likely these poor people were paid to give this Icon scam a 5-star review.

Stop with predatory pay-for-play!

This is a pure pay-for-play event offering. I was cold contacted on LinkedIn by one of their representatives that I'd been selected as a speaker at their upcoming event in Miami (which is scheduled only three months from now.) I never submitted anything for this event, so I was immediately suspicious.
As such, I made it clear up front that I do not pay to speak at events. The response (which was lengthy and received in mere seconds indicating it was likely a chatbot response) was a bullet point list of all the "speaker benefits" I would get - in return for paying all of my own travel and lodging expenses PLUS an event registration fee.
No, thank you. No pay for play. No predatory event promotions.

Unfortunately they had promised several…

Unfortunately they had promised several things which were not provided, including being featured in their digital magazine etc.. Disorganized and not keeping their words, several changes in the team.. etc.. After several follow ups and request for a friendly settling they vanished.. so I told them I would do fairness to others while I lost the partial amount I had already paid for.

This is a predatory scam

This is definitely not a legitimate scientific or academic conference. They have suspicious promotional materials, and it is clear from their website that they are not competent in English professional, technical, or academic writing. Also, look at the poor writing of the positive reviewers here, submitted on the same date.

It is obvious that they are trying very hard to appear legitimate, but they are obviously a predatory, for-profit scheme pretending to be something that they are not.
