An exceptional agent solved a no sound ripping issue
I have read some other reviews here and I agree that sometimes when I have contacted them I have been ignored and the issue not resolved. In fact our issue (of ripping without sound) was first raised on 8th January 2024 (given a reference of 387250).
But it has been solved as of 03 April 2025 at 07:49 where the agent identified the reason and helped us to fix it (we had to choose an alternative Channel 2 to the default setting). This positive ending to my customer experience was SOLELY down to that particular agent. Incidentally the agent was very thoughtful and compassionate (since I had suffered a death in the family). That agent single-handely protected the company's online reputation. Excellent effort!
AVOID: Misleading texts lead to unnecessary purchase
Does not support 4k UHD discs on Mac despite the misleading headlines on the website that literally tells you the opposite "Support 1080p HD and 4K video quality". The support guys of course state that this text refers to the video files and not discs hence no refund.

Good product, if you need customer support, be patient
I purchased Videobyte's one month subscription to DVD Ripper, having tried the free version and tested it. I paid £35.94. Received two emails acknowledging my payment. One had a passcode, the other a subscription key. When I tried to log in I was asked for a registration code. As I had not been sent one, I tried both the password and the subscription key but both came up as invalid. I have emailed Videobyte but received no answer. This is very poor customer service and not the 24hr customer support they flaunt in their blurb.
I have now had a response from their customer support. It took 12 hrs to get an answer but their solution worked and I am now very happy with the way the app is performing.
It's frustrating to spend time researching the right app for the job you wish to do, finding one, paying for it and then not being able to access it. I have made this point to their support team and hope they will include the detail the sent me in their acknowledgement email.
Activation wont accept registration code
Purchased DVD Ripper today but the "registration code" comes up as "invalid" when I tried to activate. The "contact us" button on their website does not work (today at least). I sent an email thru "my account" about this ..so, any other email addy's I can use...please let me know.
They told me to buy another software
I had a bad experience with wondershare and this software seemed better, but 5 minutes it's not enough to try It. I asked them, because many companies aren't reliable and they told me to buy another software. So they have lost a customer.
Sorry I ever paid for this
Sorry I ever paid for this. Running this on Windows 11 and the chapters screen appears only as a numeric list with timings i.e. no graphics at all. I have been back and forth with their technical team and they cannot fix this. It happens with every Blu-ray I have. Can't believe that such a basic feature they cannot fix. The same with extra material. All that appears is the main menu. Don't waste your money
Lifetime Registration key became…
Lifetime Registration key became blocked due to PC reformat which is understandable, got in touch with tech Support to get my key reactivated but they've ignored my emails and messages this happened previously but that time it was reset and all was OK, this time, heard absolutely nothing from them, I've also noticed they have read my messages, it shows in the text window. never buy from these ever again

Videobyte Crash Problem Update
I had a problem with the ripper app from Videobyte, where if I had been using my computer for a while and using other app's and then went to use the Videobyte app it would cause the app to crash. The only way I could get it to work was to shut the computer down and make it the first app to open. I contacted Videobyte and to cut along story short, and after giving them details and crash log results, after a week they came back with an app update, and it now works perfectly. Well done Videobyte great software and wonderful customer service.

I purchased the Blu-ray dvd ripper but…
I purchased the Blu-ray dvd ripper but I never received the registration code or order number so I gave up and found an alternative solution. I have been emailing this company for days trying to get a refund since I have no need for the software and I never used the registration code they eventually sent me. I have two charges on my PayPal when I only purchased a single product.
Update: Refund denied. The reason I was given is that “it would be too difficult to issue a refund”. Stay away.

Yes it works (BD/DVD ripper)...sort of! Will not copy multi episode disks and "tech support' refuses to acknowledge there is a problem. They keep asking for the same information.... They do not have any sort of ticket system for support, must be 30 people asking for the same info or crappy AI to try and get people to 'just go away'

Good luck obtaining money back guarantee
Purchased a month ago and had stalling problems right off the bat. They sent an update which took care of the stalling but when I try to view a ripped dvd, it is pixelated terribly, regardless which player I use. They suggested I rip at a higher bitrate, which was done to no avail. I requested a refund but was denied on at least two occassions. I give up, live and learn.
I purchased Leawo Prof. Media and it works flawlessy for me.

STAY away.. 30 days money back WAIST..
The trial and 30 days money back didn't work. Emails and payed through Paypal but didn't get money back. Was not happy with program not working. Now Want to install on new Hdd. but activation does not work anymore????? Waist of money. Internet provider in Denmark are also now blocking web page. Malware and virus.
Stay AWAY. No service.
