Essentially they have stolen my money, but have now given it back.

Read the reviewe below because it is indicative of my experience. However, I got a resolution to this within minutes by using Resolva that I found out about through the Gambling commissions website.

If you are struggling to contact them use Resolva. Money is in my bank with an hour of listing my case on their.

Sent email, they lost my withdrawal, send bank statement for bank transfer. Did this twice, various emails.

The care at vickers.bet email address no longer accepts incoming emails.

The info at vickers.bet email address is not answered.

Messages through website are ignored.

If and this is a big if you get through on the phone then they fob you off. In the info it states if you call then it will be sorted in 2 minutes. Simply untrue.

Live chat doesn't answer within the time required and you are logged out of this site.

The reason they are doing this is that IBAS, who oversee bookmakers, require a final decision from the booker before they look into the matter. If they just ignore you then IBAS can't really do anything.

I'm going to try the UK Gambling comission next but I'm not sure how much help they can be.

Don't pay any attention to positive reviews, they are most likely from people associated with the company.

Worst bookmaker ever

Worst bookmaker ever
It’s been 10 days since i requested my withdrawal of 97£ and it’s still showing me pending
No agent talks on live chat
It’s been 3 days i have sent then the mail and i have not received any update from them
And the websites just auto logs you out so you need to do the whole process again

Definitely one to avoid

I wish I'd looked at reviews here before I signed up; they are also withholding my money like so many others I see.
Currently IBAS are investigating for me.

Customer service poor, seemingly refusing to respond

Had an account with Vickers for several months. I'd placed bets around the time they migrated to a new site however these seem to have vanished including one that would've won me £25ish. I've been in contact with Vickers on a semi-frequent basis, trying to chase this up but continually get fobbed off with the "we're looking into it and they'll contact when they have an update" spiel. It was escalated for urgent review on 22nd September, but there continues to be no response. I certainly can't recommend Vickers as a good bookmaker to use, better off putting your money and bets elsewhere.

Hi I can only apologize, when we migrated we certainly didn't expect to have no access to anything, or information to help our customers,
i have passed this on, if you don't get any joy please call our office 01325402001

Theives

They state it takes 2 days for them to process a withdrawl then up to a further 6 days for your money to arrive with you. This ridiculously long time is probably in the hope that their customers forget about the withdrawl so they can get away with keeping your money - because 8 days will come and go, and it still will not be with you. And by this point, customer services will have disappeared and will no longer respond to you

Absolute criminals

Absolute criminals.

Requested a withdrawl back in Sept. For £150, never received it. Last month, I was sent an email them telling me....

"We are writing to inform you of an error that occurred from the 14th September 2024.

After conducting a thorough investigation, we have identified that the issue arose during the migration of your funds to a new provider, which inadvertently resulted in the removal of your account balance, amounting to £ 150.78. This system error affected several accounts, including yours. We understand how concerning this may be, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience it has caused."

....

This was on 20th September. To which I sent them my bank details. 14th October today and still, no payment made.

Just been on live chat now to which the "customer service" representative rudely cut the chat short without letting me get a word in.

Awful web site, steer well clear.

need better customer service

Took ridiculously long time to get hold of customer service but did solve my problem with accessing account eventually especially when it stated waiting times under 2 minutes, more like 30+.

I've edited to upgrade as I feel satisfied in their responses and had no trouble before with them , time will tell if they improve to what they were before the switch.

Funds Stolen From Me

I used to be a loyal customer of Vickers bet however since they migrated to a new platform I have stopped using them.

I placed a bet on a game that won however as this happened during the migration the "data" appears to have been lost and my account balance was reset to zero. They are supposed to be investigating this further however I haven't had an update for nearly a month and none of the email addresses work to get in touch with them.

Truly disappointed as they used to be a great bookie but not worth the stress or inconvenience dealing with them.

Used to be a decent bookie. Not now.

Prior to the rebranding I would have given these a 4-star rating. Now, 1-star is being kind. You would be hard pushed to find a bookie offering worse odds on horse racing than this lot. And football isn't much better.
I had a few tabs open yesterday, one of which was StarSports, with whom VB used to share odds, as well as BOG. A short priced horse on SS was 1.36 to win. On opening VB they were offering 1.17! And no BOG. Why anyone would take the awful odds offered by Vickers is beyond me.

Unfortunately I have to say that…

Unfortunately I have to say that Vickersbet are a dishonest company. I joined up with them because I saw an advert on facebook I believe, for a 'bet £10 and get £10 free welcome offer'.

I checked their odds and whilst they weren't great, I thought I give them a go with the free offer. So I joined, up and placed the £10 bet and lost.

No problem, I waited a few days and went back in, but couldn't find the free bet. I then went to their help/chat and asked them where the bet was, and I was told I wasn't eligible for the welcome offer and would not be refunded my £10 bet. In fact I wasn't eligible for any offer ever with vickersbet because I already had an account with another one of their 'brands'.

What, they have other brands!? According to their facebook page they are an 'independent family run bookmaker'. There's nothing about them actually being a huge gambling empire.

I do have accounts with most of the well known bookmakers, but if one of them was a problem WHY didn't they bother to tell me that there was a problem with my account. There was no message sent at all, either through their website or to my email, they just took the money knowing they would never deliver on their promise.

In fact even now, when we both know I am not eligible for a promotions, my account is showing that I have 6 promotions available to me including drumroll..... The bet £10 Get A £10 bet offer that I joined for in the first place.

Unbelievable, either this is false advertising and illegal or they are just incredibly bad at what they do. Either way I strongly recommend that you don't gamble with them. I will also be reporting them to the gambling commission.

Used to be a great bookmaker

Used to be a great company fair odds, weekly bet club but however since migrating to the new platform it has been horrendous very low odds compared to competitors no more bet clubs, and customer service is poor sent a live chat left unread for days and never had a response, had no choice but to move to a competitor now as odds are shocking and nothing to reward loyal customers anymore.

This used to be a good company to do business with, but since changing to a new platform on July 20th it's become a nightmare.
I'm now unable to access their site, getting told ''access denied''. The customer service is no help at all, and that's if they bother to reply to you.
I have asked them to forward my outstanding balance to the card used for depositing but so far nothing.
They are behaving like criminals and I will be taking further action to get my monies.
PLEASE do yourself a favour and avoid this so called company.
They now appear to be thieving scammers.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. Signed up with the promise of a bonus bet which they never provided then was given 50 free spins instead. On these, I won £7.45 which I was happy with however they then said I needed to wager another £372.5 before they would let me withdraw this because it was a bonus. I have submitted a subject access request and will be filing a complaint with the ASA and gambling commission

Poor Out of Hours Customer Service

Logic dictates that reviews for betting sites are only rated when things go wrong. This is one such occasion.
There is no live chat assistance - everything has to be addressed by email. Unfortunately the customer service do not write/understand English. I have just endured a bewildering encounter with a 'johann' who appears to be using a bad version of Google translate. The translation is nonsensical.
I am none the wiser as to why Vickers are (possibly - this is a guess) requesting further verification when my account has been operating for years. Usually when a password has been input incorrectly it is possible to reset - but not with Vickers. I shall attempt again tomorrow when hopefully I will access a fluent English speaker.
Update: Advice to punters: Use the telephone and phone during working hours. The issue was resolved instantly by a helpful customer service operative. I would recommend that Vickers look into their after hours support though....
