Dreadful customer service
Dreadful service from this company. We were due to pick up a car from Verona Airport on the 5th July but when we arrived we were told we were 15 minutes over the alloted 1 hour time we had to collect the car, due to our flight being slightly late and the girl at the Viaggiare desk being out for a cigarette for at least 10 minutes, and our booking had expired. This girl was extremely rude and couldn't move onto the next customer quick enough. There was no attempt to show empathy towards us, despite the fact we had a young child with us. This was an appalling welcome to Italy and we will absolutely not book with this company again.

Straight forward pick up at verona…
Straight forward pick up at verona airport but if the desk was busy then this may have been an issue. In this occassion it took 10 minutes from desk to car after completing the paperwork at the desk.
Drop off remember to take a ticket at the entrence to the airport to access the rental aread.
Again straight forward drop off as the desk was quiet. Remeber to keep the inside of the car clean as they may charge 25 Euros for cleaning if leaving a mess like rubbish/trash etc.
I recommend taking the Gold package for piece of mind. This package for me with the rental allowed for a free upgrade on this occassion.

Comparable to the big boys
The customer service and quality of goods was comparable to the better known international brands. Because the price was so competitive I was worried there'd be issues but I needn't have worried, all was great.

Hire car experience
We got an unexpected upgrade which was nice.
We had a late check in and expected some difficulty due to time of night and tiredness.

For the first time after many rentals
For the first time after many rentals, minor damages were addressed that had never been reported before. Overall, the inspection was very meticulous. Thank goodness I took a video right after the rental, otherwise I would never have been able to prove that these very minor damages had been there beforehand.
16.04.25: You so beautifully described the tenant's responsibilities. However, your duty as a landlord would also have been to note the two damages that were already present when I rented the property in your rental report.

per our terms and conditions "During Check-out (exit of the vehicle for rental), all damage already present on the vehicle will be listed in the specific Check-Out Form. The Customer is obliged to carefully check the information reported in the aforementioned form, verifying that there are no errors and reporting any discrepancies detected by the operators before leaving the branch with the vehicle. In the absence of reporting by the Customer of errors in the detection upon delivery of the vehicle, all damage detected upon return of the vehicle and not reported in the Check-out form are considered to have been caused during the rental period."

My flight to Verona was delayed 90 minutes, when I arrived to collect my car, they had canceled the booking due to a 'no show' and refused to refund me.
They told me I should have contacted them, but this isn't possible when phones have to be on flight mode during the delay.
For one booking they stole my money, and booked it out to another customer.
