I bought a Barbour jacket and the seller claimed that the jacket was “never worn”.When I received the jacket I saw signs of wear on the leather neck of the jacket.
When a product has been checked by your team for its authenticity there has to be a checking for what the seller is claiming about the product.

I purchased a Prada Re-Edition 2002 handbag from Vestiaire Collective for €738.90 almost three months ago.
Before the bag was shipped to me, it went through Vestiaire Collective's physical authentication process. I received an authentication report confirming that the item was authentic and matched the listing description.
When I received the bag, I immediately noticed that it did not match the listing. I opened a return request the same day and sent the bag back the following day.
What followed was two weeks of extremely frustrating communication with customer support. Every reply came from a different agent, with no apparent continuity or ownership of the case. Instead of investigating my evidence, I repeatedly received generic responses insisting that the bag fully matched the listing and that there was no issue.
Only after nearly two weeks of repeated follow-ups and escalation did Vestiaire Collective provide photographs of their own measurements. Those measurements confirmed that the bag did not match the listing. The difference in dimensions was approximately 11%.
Despite acknowledging that the item was not as described, Vestiaire Collective still refused to refund my purchase.
Instead, they suggested that I simply relist the bag for sale on their platform.
This also raises serious concerns about the reliability of Vestiaire Collective's authentication process. Before the bag was sent to me, their physical authentication concluded that the item matched the listing. Later, the same company confirmed that it did not. If a physical authentication process cannot verify something as objective as an item's dimensions, it inevitably raises questions about the level of confidence buyers can place in the rest of that authentication process.
Even after admitting that the bag did not match the listing, Vestiaire Collective kept both my returned bag and my money.
I recovered my money only because I initiated a chargeback through my bank. It took almost three months from the date of purchase before I finally received my refund. Throughout this process, my bank treated the case professionally, reviewed the evidence objectively, and ultimately reached the opposite conclusion from Vestiaire Collective.
What disappoints me most is not that a mistake was made. Mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is that Vestiaire Collective acknowledged the mistake, refused to take responsibility for it, and left me with no option other than involving my bank to obtain the refund I was entitled to.

The shoes were exactly as described and pictured. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase-My first LV shoes!
I also truly appreciate the service you provide by giving pre-owned luxury items a second life. It’s a wonderful initiative that promotes sustainability and has a positive impact on the planet.
My journey with Vestiaire has just begun, and I’m already looking forward to my next purchase!

Update after the answer: No such button, only a button to relist the item. Your chat team is rude. According to your rules a jacket with visible hole can be only FAIR condition and the hole is on the sleave and visible. You rated it as Very good condition. **** I got a Rick Owens jacket with Authentication & Quality Control. Their team confirmed it is in very good condition. The jacket arrived today with a hole on the knitted part, ripped lining and balding that was not stated, not photographed. I contacted an agent and he/she is trying to persuade me that it is OK, the team was right and I should understand. They clearly missed the not mentioned problems and do not want to admit. Also it is basically impossible to contact via email. As soon as I pick "Report an Issue on Quality or Authenticity" it sends me to click on "Report an issue" button which basically doesn't exist. Also the agent wrote to me "...but I am counting on your understanding" which was an insult, honestly.

The verification team are not good. I have purchased several items, that are not authentic after beeing verified by VC. Futhermore they dont stick to their on deadlines.
Overall many bad experiences with VC.

My sale was cancelled because the buyer had signaled a problem with my item. Apparently it didn’t correspond to my description and photos. It would be helpful to know in what way it differed. If I’m supposed to resell it, it would be useful to have more details.

A great way to source a hard-to-find item at a fair price

As far as the online purchase all went fine. When I received the bag that was almost $900 it came thrown in a cardboard box that was hot and had moisture. The handbag had no dust bag, wrapping of any kind or tissue to protect it. I almost returned it because of this issue alone. When spending this kind of money I would expect it to be protected from elements. Honestly very disappointed.

Hi. Ordering was easy, and I received my shoes without any issues. I used common sense and checked that the seller had successfully completed previous sales, which gave me extra confidence. The shoes were authenticated and carefully inspected, and although I paid a little extra for that service, it was well worth it considering the overall price. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely buy here again.

I have recently bought two counterfeit Tiffany bracelets from Vestiaire Collection. I am taking them to the small claims court to recover my losses. If you suspect that you have bought a counterfeit item from Vestiaire Collection you can apply to take them to small claims court to recover your losses.
