Just returned from horse racing In Prague, what an excellent weekend of great like minded people. From organising the event to the day itself Venatour took care of everything flights taxis coaches and a fantastic meal of great food and entertainment on the Saturday.
The Raceday was just fabulous with great racing top food and quality wines and beers.

Just back from an amazing trip to Prague to watch the Pardubice Steeplechase, what an incredible experience made even better because of the help and attention given by Marc and Simon during our visit, and that despite Simon's dodgy obsession with fast food trucks. Cannot praise them enough everything went like clockwork and the two of them were so knowledgable both about the city and the races, we will definitely travel with them again.

I took my wife and two grown up daughters to Merano racing for the weekend and a day in Verona on the way back. Pure coincidence that some friends were on the trip which was the icing on the cake and our 25th wedding anniversary on the Monday. Gorgeous weather to boot. No hassle as all was sorted by Mark, Simon and Harry who made herding cats an art form. A superb weekend which we have done twice now with Venatour and our sixth trip with the company and team.

The Venatour team provided an amazing tour for our U15 rugby team. The tour ran very smoothly from the coach company, the location, the events and the amazing rugby match we had in France.

Just returned from a fabulous tour experience to Cape Town SA and Pumba private game reserve (we saw 4 of the Big 5) with Venatour. It was absolutely awesome and incredibly good value, rich in different experiences and a really safe way to travel to places we maybe wouldn't visit alone. The hospitality we received throughout the tour was generous and delicious. Accommodation was 5* and we Recommend Venatour 100% - we are planning a 4th trip with them for 2026 and have one in the bag for later this year.

The guys at Venatour are great. Within a week or so I had a provisional itinerary and rough prices. Emails and queries were always quickly replied to and spoke over the phone to ask further questions if needed. Would definitely recommend especially for University Sports tours.

Myself and my partner had the pleasure of staying in Chantilly and then attending the Arc de Triomphe. It was a fantastic trip Marc, Simon, Harry and Alex were first class. I would highly recommend Venatour to anyone. Thank you so much guys.

The two reps Marc and Simon were brilliant, friendly and yet very professional. They showed great flexibility to organise other events when the racing was cancelled.

As always Venatour put on an amazing tour to Rome, great three night stay, amazing hotel in the heart of the city with easy walking distances to all the top attractions, professional staff, as always and at hand when needed, if you haven’t been with these guys before then it is a must. 10 out of 10 keep

This was my first Venatour trip and I can certainly say that I will be back. I must confess that I am not a huge Rugby fan but a friend had recommended Venatour and I hadn’t visited Rome for some years so it seemed like a good idea. I investigated the price, which very reasonable for a long weekend in a major Europe city, and the Itinerary looked just right - plenty of options to explore but still leaving enough time to explore on your own.

Venatour chartered their own flight which was all professionally run and it was a nice touch to have Venatour staff greeting you and directing you to the right places.

When mingling with the other passengers it was clear that there were many return customers who knew each other well but it wasn’t a clique. Despite this being my first trip and my self confessed limited rugby knowledge, everyone was very friendly and really made me feel part of the group.

The hotel was in a great location with all the major sights within a healthy walk away. For those who didn’t want to walk there was a metro station close by. The selection of bars and restaurants close by were both very reasonable and excellent quality. I have to recommend the pizza at Washington Cafe and the Pasta at Vattani.

The meet and greet drinks reception was very good with people again very friendly and the guest speakers (Gareth Chilcott & Stuart Barnes) very entertaining and happy to have photos taken. The rooftop bar gave you a stunning view of the city and the Vatican at sunset. It was incredible.

Onto game day and the tickets were in a great spot. Great view of the game and right in the middle of the atmosphere.

It summary, it was a great trip. The organisation was slick and the staff were very friendly and always there to help. I will be back

Had the most amazing weekend in Rome to celebrate my Dad’s 60th Birthday. The Venatour Team were all fantastic and completely made the experience. Cooch’s Tavern was great and felt like a cosy chat amongst friends (despite the hundred + people in the room). Something really special! Can’t wait for the next one!

A cracking weekend in Rome for the 6 Nations game vs England. The charter flights were seamless, hotel was beautiful and airport transfers smooth.

The attention to detail throughout was great and the Venatour staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough, we absolutely loved the tavern event on our own rooftop terrace with Ben Kay, Steve Smith and Stuart Barnes and of course....Cooch!

Very disappointed with this 'rugby tour' - it was a tour of the south of France with 3 matches thrown in (I always knew there would be just three matches obviously!), every day we were on and off a coach visiting various sights - which at the start was fine but by the end of the trip we saw more vineyards, mountain top villages than could be believed - each day had around 4 different stops, and every evening we all returned to the hotel in silence, no camaraderie - all exhausted particularly as the age range was 60+ and up to 80. On match days nothing arranged for the evening - no meal, so many opportunities missed.
Hotels were badly thought out, the coach could not get to 3 so we dragged our suitcases over French cobbles to the hotel, a load of pensioners, must have been quite a sight!, no evening events arranged. Too much time spent on the road and in a coach and very disappointing, however matches fantastic!
I'd do a tour again but not with Venatour if it meant being bussed hundreds of miles and more thought into the areas visited (and how often) - we did stay in some wonderful places but they were just used as a base for these endless trips.
More thought also needed to be given to the match tickets as on 2 occasions we had 80 year olds climbing to the very top of the stadium for their seats as no disabled access.
