It's not vanity, it's giving you one less thing to worry about!
I have had unsightly and painful varicose veins on my legs which have been getting gradually worse over 30 years and decided that I needed to have them removed to be able to cope with the throbbing pain at night as well as them being unsightly.
Dr McCarthy and the support nurse were fantastic, knowing when to distract me from the procedure and continuing to get the best results when things weren't easy. Apart from the first day, I found the recovery pain free and carried on with normal activities immediately. The follow up appointment at 6 weeks solved any remaining vein issues and I am confident that all the varicose veins will now dissolve away. Family have commented on the big improvement to the appearance of the veins and I can now sleep pain free. I would recommend this procedure to anyone suffering with unsightly or painful veins.

Relaxed atmosphere, lovely welcome from Ginny. Dr Guiness and Emily were very kind and professional, explaining everything at each stage of the procedure. I have a few months to go before I see the final results, but I am pleased with how my legs have improved so far. I would recommend the Exeter Vein Centre to others.

Really happy with treatment and results
Mr McCarty the consultant was great. He explained everything thoroughly and was kind and thoughtful. The nurse Emily, was also lovely. I was a little nervous but she talked to me throughout the whole procedure and really put me at ease. I felt that staff were very aware that it was a big decision to be choosing to have treatment. The treatment itself was performed very professionally and calmly. Pain was explained and manageable. Follow up care was clear and phone help was useful. I am super pleased with the results and would thoroughly recommend the team at Exeter. Thank you very much.

I nearly got charged an extra £1000…
I nearly got charged an extra £1000 because the receptionist missed putting a 0 on my payment records. She was adamant I’d only paid £100 when it was in fact £1000. I doubted myself for days as well. My vein didn’t hurt after the first bout, went back for the second, which I didn’t want, and now it’s back to hurting. Time will tell. It’s been just over 4 months now. The actual procedure bl**dy hurt!!
