I made a booking a couple of weeks ago that I desperately need to amend. I've emailed 3 times now and not had a reply. Not impressed with the customer service and slightly concerned that they've taken a £100 deposit that I will never see again.

We had such an amazing experience at Vanity Studio on Easter Monday! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.

A huge thank you to Chevaughn, Danny our photographer, and Suraya – they were all incredible with us and our son. They made us feel so comfortable, relaxed, and honestly treated us like superstars the entire time.

The shoot itself was so much fun, and the photos came out absolutely amazing – we couldn’t be happier with them! You can really see the care, professionalism, and talent that went into every shot.

Highly recommend Vanity Studio to anyone looking for a special and memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Went for a photoshoot with my 3 daughters today and we were very apprehensive as we have never done anything like this before. We had the most amazing time. I was so pleased with my hair and make up I hardly recognised myself. Our photographer Danny (I hope I remembered that right) was fantastic and made us feel so at ease and also made it fun. Photos were lovely and was so hard to choose which ones to have.

SCAM – Avoid at all costs.

We purchased a voucher at a Christmas fair for £120, which was meant to cover a makeover and photoshoot for four people, including one free photo each. That was the promise.

When we called to book, we were told we had to pay a £300 deposit to cover no-shows. While this seemed excessive, we agreed. The experience on the day itself was pleasant enough, but the organisation was chaotic. They were running significantly late, and after travelling two hours to get there, it became clear we wouldn’t be leaving until around 10pm (we should have been out by 7pm). As we’d been told we could view the photos later via Zoom, we decided to leave and arrange this another time.

That’s where everything fell apart.

I attempted to arrange a viewing on 17 separate occasions, receiving either no response or generic holding emails. After weeks of chasing, I formally complained as I still hadn’t had my deposit returned or been able to view the photos. Again, no resolution.

In the end, I had to go through my credit card provider to recover the £300 deposit. I’ve also had to dispute the original £120 voucher payment, as we have never seen or received a single photo.

It’s incredibly disappointing, as I was genuinely looking forward to purchasing some special photos of myself, my daughters, and my friend.

There were also other customers on the day complaining about the disorganisation and delays.

This experience feels like a complete scam. Do not waste your money.

I went for makeover and photoshoot with my mum and sister - it was a super fun day out! I would advise taking multiple outfits and choosing when you're there. The photographer helped with styling which was great.

We visited Vanity Studios as a group of friends for a photoshoot, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at ease right away.
The hair and make-up were done to a high professional standard, and the photographer captured amazing shots of both individual and group moments.
The entire process, including viewing and selecting the photos, was smooth and very well organised. The quality of service throughout was excellent.

Had the best experience at Vanity studios, my cousin and I booked this package together and as soon as we arrived we felt welcomed and comfortable. The setting was professional and the team was accommodating and helpful. I got my makeup done by Geraldo and he was extremely talented! I showed him a picture for inspiration and did exactly what I was looking for. Danny was our photographer for the day and he helped us feel comfortable and confident and gave us many tips on how to pose. Overall was such a fun experience and this place has a lovely team.

The day was great. I took my mum as a mother's day gift. My makeup was what I asked for and my mum felt beautiful. I was surprised that they had makeup and hair products for darker tones/thicker hair but they did and applied this amazingly. The makeup and hair team were amazing and everyone was really friendly.

The photos came out great and the overall experience was fun, if albeit it a little behind on timing that led us to rush the last outfit, but then they hit you with the price.

I called up before asking if there were any additional costs on the day and was told no. I was assured that we could take home 1 photo each included in the initial price we paid. What they don't tell you is that the photo you're allowed to take can be one of only you. So I could only take one of myself and my mum one of her-we could not take home any of the joint photos. This was the same for the 2 cheapest packages between £400-£600. So the only way we could take home any pictures of myself and my mum together was by purchasing the package costing £1050. This gave us 30 pictures out of the 120 that were taken. If there was any other option, this was not made clear to us. We couldn't help but feel blindsided. I am not naive to think that the photos would be free but this felt like a joke especially as this cost did not include the pictures being physically printed, but rather emailed so that we now have to pay additional costs to get these printed professionally.

Overall, we had an amazing day but it was not worth the money that we paid at the end of it. It felt like they deliberately leave the cost until the end so you feel a little trapped.

I booked a session to get my modelling digitals updated and got exactly what I needed. Studio was clean and efficient as they had multiple bookings close together. I had the first session of the day and I highly recommend booking an early time if you can as it was the most efficient.

I had Bernardo as my photographer who was great and we worked really well together. Stephan who went through all the photos with me was so helpful and I felt confident in asking for his opinion. Dorita prepped my skin well and Giancarlo (I believe that was his name) did an excellent job on my hair!

My photos turned out excellent and I had such a fun day with everyone on set. I loved the collaborativeness of this studio, which is something you don't get everywhere!

I booked a photoshoot for my friend's birthday and the service from start to finish was a 10/10 experience. All the staff were very personal yet professional. Upon arrival we were offered complimentary drinks and how the day would pan out was explained in detail. Our photographer Matteo was just excellent!

My daughter Jayne and I was given our photo shoot as a gift.

We arrived early and was able to leave our cases and belongings behind the bar area which was great we could then go exploring Old Strret.

We came back 15 mins before our booking time and was greeted with a welcome drink lots to choose from I had Bubbly and my daughter a soft drink.

The atmosphere around us was very bubbly like my prosecco.

I had my make up done which was a 1st for me to have make up done professionally I was made to feel comfortable and at ease and very pampered .
Make up was gorgeous.

Then onto hair very relaxing I was able to close my eyes and not worry about a thing
Hair was amazing

Then mini manicure Red Nail varnish to match my dress.

My Jayne had 2 lovely French braided platts and asked for light make up.

The preparation was a lovely experience and the whole team that do this are very thoughtful, lovely and kind.

Then the photo shoot again made to feel at ease straight away and the photo shot was filled with smiles, fun and laughter and we was not rushed. (We were in good hands)

Then it was time to look at our photos they looked very impressive, very professional.
It was definitely a wow factor moment.

All the staff are amazing.

I had a great afternoon with my friend. We arrived and were given a warm welcome and refreshments immediately. We had our nails painted (no manicure, just paint), make-up and hair done. The hairdresser and make up artists were friendly and did a beautiful job. We then had our photos taken in a variety of outfits and poses, before picking our shots. The whole experience was about 4.5 hours. The packages aren't cheap but the experience was very good.

Good hospitatility. Make up and hair was great, thanks for doing nails too. Photography was great too, the whole family had fun! And photos will be cherished! Got family photos and some individual professional ones too. Felt ever so slightly rushed only as the session was delayed by around an hour and so finished later than expected.

Fabulous day at Vanity, had the make up & hair experience prior to photo shoot and the results blew me away- I absolutely loved how I looked afterwards! Lovely day out for my Mum, myself and children to have special moments captured to treasure forever! Thanks so much!

Getting my headshots and model shoot done with Vanity Studios was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed so warmly (and even offered a lovely drink!), which instantly put me at ease.

The hair and makeup were done beautifully, and the photographer was incredible, guiding me throughout the entire shoot, helping me with poses, and making sure I looked my best in every shot. The whole experience felt relaxed, professional, and genuinely enjoyable.

At the end, we went through all the photos together, and choosing which ones to keep was by far the hardest part because I loved them all!

I would highly recommend Vanity Studios to anyone, whether you’re after a few simple headshots or a full photoshoot. They truly deliver an amazing experience from start to finish.

Do not be fooled by the rating.

This business is built on a model that works in their favour at every step. They approach you at a kiosk, make the experience sound simple and exciting, and take your money before you have any idea what you are actually committing to. The real terms only emerge after you have paid, at which point they have all the leverage and you have none.

In my case I paid £60 for a promotional voucher at the kiosk and a further £150 as a reservation deposit during booking, totalling £210. I never received the service. Not because I simply did not show up, but because the booking process itself broke down through their own miscommunication, an unreceived confirmation email, a last minute rescheduling to a different location I was not properly notified about, and shifting terms that made me lose confidence in the business entirely.

Despite never receiving the service, they have used every possible reason to avoid returning my money. Their position changed multiple times throughout our correspondence. They retracted a written confirmation that my deposit was fully refundable. They introduced new conditions after the fact. And when I raised a formal complaint citing UK consumer law, they ignored it entirely.

What made this particularly frustrating is that they are not incompetent. They are deliberate. The confusion is not accidental. By the time you realise something is wrong, you have already invested your money and your time, and they know it.

I wasted weeks of my time, significant stress, and had to resort to a formal bank dispute and Trading Standards complaint simply to try to recover my own money for a service I never even received.

If you are considering booking with this company, please ask for every single term in writing before handing over a penny. Do not take verbal assurances. Do not assume their written confirmations will be honoured. And ask yourself whether an experience that starts this way is worth your hard earned money and your precious time.

Some experiences are genuinely not worth the risk.

My recent experience at Vanity Studios was excellent all round and great value for money. From hair and makeup to the photographer, every professional was outstanding. The shoot itself felt easy, comfortable and even fun. The photo viewing session was just as thoughtful. They guide you through choosing images in a way that feels supportive, not overwhelming. It’s a full experience that leaves you energised and feeling like you truly own your presence. I will definitely be back.
