From the start of the experience, the guy who surveyed the job was not trying to sell it, just came to view the job and was thorough. Went in the loft got up on the roof ( in the rain) and looked at incoming supply, I've had two other quotes, one surveyed remotely the other only looked at the supply and spent the next hour telling me how good they were and to use them.
Scaffolding went up well despite it being a tricky building, and on the day of the solar going in again was raining all day, but the guys were polite and easy to speak to.
All round a great experience

Fitted a battery and inverter / control unit to our solar panels. The fitters arrived on time and carried out the work efficiently. They were both professional and polite, and answered all our questions.

Best price and hardware out of the 3 other companies that quoted.
Good communication, turned up on times and dates agreed.
Professional and courteous installers.
Very neat install.
Have already recommended to friends and family.
Having only been installed in January time will tell on performance, but so far so good.

Use The Sun have been excellent throughout the whole process: their survey, their explanations, the administration, and finally the installation made by two young men who seemed very competent and hard-working. I could hardly invite them to stop for a coffee. They were very polite and respected the instructions concerning the neighbouring property.
The company stuck to the time-line. And now on my computer dashboard I have great fun and satisfaction watching the beneficial effect of the sun-light on my reduced electricity consumption.

Thank you for a high quality installation of Heat Pump. Plumbing and the installation was of top quality. Rahi and Keeleigh have been very prompt and responsive to our queries. Nick, James (sorry can't remebr the person's name who spent whole day setting up the tank, plumbing around it) and others who came were very professional and helpful.

Full Story:
I am a resident of Southwark Council and was part of a project caller Solar Together. This scheme was to buy solar panels as a group to have more affordable solar panels.
The winning company would have an extensive group of clients. The company selected Green Energy Together (GET) went into liquidation. Leaving me with solar panels and broken inverters.
HIES and Use The Sun were the ones that come to help me. They were extremely helpful, located and corrected several issues in the previous installation.
The asked where to place the items (battery, inverters, fuse box, etc...) and place these on a sensible location.
They went up and beyond what I was expecting.
So I would highly recommend them and further use them in the future.

Just had my solar panels done on my home! They were amazing from start to finish! They answered all of my questions and were always happy to help me! The guys who installed it were so friendly and it was spotless when they left! Very happy, I will be recommending to all of my friends and family!

My initial supplier went bust so we used Use The Sun through the HIES scheme. Wish we had of gone to Use The Sun in the first place! From initial contact through survey, install and after support, every stage has been excellent, install took 1 day for a 16 panel with battery system, clean, tidy work, had a few questions afterwards relating to the SEG Tariff, these were answered swiftly and concisely. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of using this company.

The installation team were very professional, nice tidy job.They gave step by step detail of how the installation worked and how to isolate the system from the mains should any electrical work be needed in the house.Tea &coffee was on hand 😃But they deserved it.Good job all round.

Use The Sun have recently finished installing our heat pump, their work was excellent, their team were very helpful and efficient, so we are delighted with the result. I am very happy to recommend them as their work is first rate.

I finally had solar panels installed by UTS. They took over after the original company went bust and caused mayhem and anxiety for many people. UTS together with HIES helped us get back on track and achieve our goals. The engineers worked very hard when they came to the house and were happy to answer questions. Everything was well organised.

I look forward to using solar power when it breaks through the clouds and rain!

I have just had my solar panels and Tesla battery fitted and have been really impressed with the comms and the team that came and did the fitting. All in all a great trouble free experience. It was really quick from start to finish and I would thoroughly recommend them as I am really happy with the result.

I contacted Use the Sun to install solar panels & a heat pump following a recommendation from a friend who had used them.
From the initial visit through installation they were friendly, professional and accommodating.
Once fitted I discovered an issue where they were not producing the power expected (this turned out to be an issue with the grid as opposed to the panels). Use the Sun were amazing in their back-up, sending out engineers who were able to adjust the inverter (?) to fix the issue quickly & efficiently.

Use The Sun were arranged by HIES to take on the installation of my solar system following the failure of Daylight Energy, after absconding with my deposit. From first contact UTS arranged a survey, purchased the required materials and completed the installation within a month. I could not be more satisfied with the efficiency of their staff and the results.

I had a PV system installed by Use The Sun after they were recommended by the HIES due to previous solar company went bust. Dean (Sales Team) was able to quote and set up the installation date within 6 weeks.
Dean and Keeleigh kept me up to date and were able to accommodate the building work that was already taking place at the premises and were able to use the scaffolding that was already in place.
On the installation days, two installers - Victor and Luke (apologies if I got your names wrong) were very professional and were able to recommend the locations of the installation. The installation took 2 days however it was understandable due to the type of equipment being installed.
All the installation went smoothly and quick, unlike other company who left me hanging for months.
I would highly recommend using this company.
