Created by a woman for women, Unique Vintage celebrates the iconic, flirty fashion of the past with modern, ready-to-wear designs for today’s woman. Started in 2000, uniquevintage.com was founded by Katie Echeverry, a vintage fashion lover who would spend her weekdays working in pharmaceutical sales and her weekends on the hunt for vintage dresses to sell on the website she had started as a fun weekend hobby. Quickly recognizing that high quality vintage items were very hard to find, Katie took a chance and began adding vintage-inspired dresses to her site, seeing sales skyrocket almost immediately. This was all it took for Katie to know that her weekend hobby was much more than just that, leading her to ditch the doctor’s offices and take on UV full time. As UV’s business continued its path of exponential growth, Echeverry opened a 4,600-square-foot brick and mortar boutique in 2008. This storefront location has stood as an iconic destination on the historic vintage row of Magnolia Boulevard in downtown Burbank since. In August 2015, Unique Vintage unveiled its first major renovation since its initial opening. Despite having several opportunities to move her business out of her hometown, Echeverry has remained committed to maintaining her local roots for the company. She cares deeply about the city of Burbank and prioritizes the store’s contribution to Magnolia Park. Since those early days, Unique Vintage has continued to grow, launching its very own Unique Vintage brand label to better serve the needs of the UV girl, while continuing to carry the retro-inspired labels that helped to put UV on the map. Building on the Unique Vintage label, UV has also launched exclusive collaborations with Barbie, Pantone, Coca-Cola, Universal Monster and more.

Very, very poor quality and not as advertised
Clothes fit small and are very poorly made. I believe they post fake positive reviews on their website and on here. I reviewed the products I received and they deleted my reviews from their website.
The clothes are so poorly made and are not represented honestly. What you get will not be the same as what you think you are ordering. Im in the process of returning 3/4 items I bought, I am not hopeful in getting my money back however because as far as I can see their refund system is not great.
Never again!
I ordered 2 pieces in march of which one was on backorder and supposed to ship in may. But when my order finally arrived months later, the item on back order was missing without any explanation. I contacted the customer service right away and they told me they would "investigate" the issue. After one month of stalling on their side and after I opened a Paypal case they now finally refunded me. Horrible customer service and all in all completely unprofessional. Avoid.
Poor experience-- items not shipped
I had a very poor experience with this company. I placed an order on May 18th for items which were all listed as in stock. The order never shipped, so two weeks on, I called and emailed customer service. They said that they cannot locate the swimsuit bottom I purchased and it will ship "once it is found," with no expected ship date given. I needed the swimsuit for a trip on June 18th. A month should have been more than enough time to receive it, however, it seems I clearly will not. Buyer Beware: items listed on the website as in stock may in fact not be in supply and who knows when you'll receive them. Meanwhile, they've taken your money under false pretenses.
Dodgy returns
Sent my order back 3 months ago which cost £50 to send! Still haven’t received my refund and I’ve emailed twice with no response

All the employees at UV are so helpful and honestly so patient.
I had placed an order at UV during the same week that so many things in my life had begun to fall apart. While I was frazzled and had been asking the employees question after question, they remained calm, collected, FRIENDLY, and extremely helpful and welcoming.
The responded to my questions while I was there to shop in person, gave me honest opinions about the fit of clothing I was trying on in the fitting room, and replied to each email I had sent in a timely manner.
So thank you, Unique Vintage.

Customer service has been EXCELLENT! Sylvie not only responded immediately to an email my daughter sent with a question she had, but she also handled a problem that was completely my fault - after hours, and within minutes of me sending the email - when she really didn't have to. It's rare to see such great service - super friendly, too. This was our first time ordering from this company, and we're international customers - but it won't be our last!

Terrible. Tee shirt never came and they tried to stiff me the refund. Have a complaint going through with them on PayPal. Avoid like the plague

Unique Vintage does not take care of their customers. I had to pay an big amount to customs (never had this before). Their is an item in my package from final sale. They do not refund final sale. If I want to return the other items in the package, I first have to pay customs. Then I can tak out the item on final sale en then pay shipping to return the other items.
The answer from this company to my email could be interpreted as: not our problem!

The clothing was just as it looked online! Perfect for our costume party, i had a sizing issue that they worked with me on so i didn’t have a delay in receiving the exchange! Very pleased with this site and this customer service.
Terrible quality and worse customer service!
Second time I got the wrong order from them, I asked for a resolution other than just a refund or replacement and all they sent me was their standard cookie cutter reply. Not even a personal reply apologizing, just a pre made email reply for returns. I'm done with this place! Don't order from them!!!
I love this site
I love this site! They’re clothing is adorable and great pricing. Its difficult for me as a plus size woman to find vintage clothing that’s not gonna cost me a months worth of car insurance. I recently made a mistake where I purchased the same item twice. They made it easy for me to cancel my item and refund my money back right away. I would totally suggest this site to my friends.
Zero Stars
This was a lousy first impression. I placed and order and happily waited for my item. When I noticed the order still hadn’t shipped after almost 2 weeks, I tried to reach out. I emailed....no response. Tried chat....even though it noted they typically respond in a few hours there was no response. Tried to cancel the order but the website wouldn’t allow it. Called their customer service number and got a message that they cannot take the call after being on hold for 20 minutes. Since it had been 15 days, I put in a dispute. Suddenly within a couple or hours I got a response from the company that my order was canceled and being refunded. Then got another email that the item was actually not in stock when I placed the order. Strange that they processed my payment and held on to it for 2 weeks for an item that was never available. Buyer beware!
Ordered 13.03
Ordered 13.03. No update provided when shipped, I had to chase for a tracking number multiple times on Facebook, web chat and via email. Eventually it was provided and showed parcel has been on hold with DHL due to no electronic data being provided since 18.03. I have been ignored by customer service when I have asked them to investigate with DHL because DHL have said they’ll only deal with the merchant. I am very disappointed with the customer service and doubt that I will receive my parcel. PayPal claim opened and refund now received.

Order took a while to arrive, which was OK as we were advised that was the case.
It was a mystery order so we were expecting a nice surprise. How wrong we were... items were not vintage they were old dirty and fit for the bin.

Really cute styles that are hard to find! I bought the white with black hearts one shoulder cut out sweater. I get compliments every time I wear it. I’ve loved all my pieces!
