This has been a really straightforward, hassle free process. The Unilodgers team have been incredibly friendly and accessible. I would definitely recommend!

I don’t remember the guys name who was assigned to me but he was so helpful. He called to check up on what I have and haven’t done. There was a part where I was confused and he helped me understand the topi.

My booking experience with Unilodgers so far has been absolutely exemplary. Every single time I have had a question, concern, or perspective which I felt the need to raise, they have responded to me instantaneously.

With that in mind, if any future university students, or current university students out there are looking for accommodation, I would strongly recommend Unilodgers!

In my experience, they will not disappoint!

They put up with our dithering and worrying. Our inability to do anything without my dad being a dad. Super patient and vigilant on the WhatsApp chat, answered all our questions and provided excellent customer service. Good bants, 10/10 would recommend to any student.

They made my accommodation book hassle-free. They communicate all the existing offers patiently and tell us the best one suitable one for the dates we are looking at. Best one to book student accommodation.

I was very concerned that this process would be tricky and confusing. However, with the text updates and calls from UNILODGER the whole process was very easy. And I am now very happy that I will have a room for September! Thank you UNILODGER!

I am disgusted with the service I am receiving or NOT as the case may be. I booked a room from September over ten days ago via UniLodger. Once you have made the booking you deal with IQ direct.

On making my reservation through UniLodgers it stated on their site that there was no deposit - it clearly says all you have to pay is your rent. It asked me for my card details for future payments. As soon as I had entered my details £250.00 was taken from my account. On challenging UniLodgers I was told it must be an old offer and that they update their website daily. On looking at the site the following day the offer was still there.

My circumstances changed so over TEN DAYS ago I cancelled the booking and requested my £250.00 back which on IQ website clearly says you get a refund if you cancel within 7 days. This was the day after. I phoned up the IQ accommodation I was going to be staying at, I emailed UniLodgers, I emailed customer services at IQ, I sent them my account details and I filled in the online form via my IQ personal portal page requesting refund.

This was over ten days ago. I have sent several emails and the only update I have got from a lady called Kim was saying my refund is being processed, but it would be 2-3 weeks and I would receive another emailwith an update.

I sent another email requesting a Manager call back and also asking for an explanation of why I am having to wait for so long, especially in this day and age when any business can process a faster payment or BACS which would be in your account within a day. Moreover it was not my fault that the money was taken from my account in the first place. I have not received any response - it is totally unacceptable. All I want is the £250.00 that was taken within minutes.

I am considering taking matters further.

My advice in one word to anyone who is about to book through IQ or UniLodgers - Don’t

SCAMMERS, DECIET AND THIEVES!!!

If you are an international student- DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

Find the actual accommodation online, and access their actual owners contact details and go from there.

Wish I could attach the files up on files of evidence I have against them, from countless people being robbed off their vouchers to their deposits.

They are a scamming company based in India, the scam is quite smart, they pretend to have students working for them here on their sites, when in reality they follow a script which is supposed to ensure your feel happy.

They take your deposit, and pretend they have transferred it to your accommodation which they will never receive. This in conjunction to the NON-existent voucher is only the tip of the iceberg. PLEASE save yourself, this scam runs deep, even their trust pilot reviews are manipulated.

The advisor was really helpful & super lovely in helping me finding the right accomodation at a reasonable price (for London)! While it did take a little while for a refund for one of my bookings to come through, they were otherwise wonderful in making sure I secured my accommodation. :)

Unilodgers were very helpful in helping me find my dream accommodation, they made sure to help me find the best one suited for me and within my budget. The student advisors were also very friendly and kind.

Unilodgers responded to my queries with superb speed - always well within 12 hours. The people manning the chat box on their website displayed patience and in depth knowledge as they guided me through the process in real time. All the follow ups were dealt were courteously and promptly.

What particularly impressed me most was their willingness to honour their words. The contract period for room that they had initially told me was available and was available when I booked it turned out to be " not available " when their reply came through - they changed the contract date by a week.

I queried them and 24 hours later, they reverted to the original contract period despite my having reluctantly agreed to the revised contract dates. I highly recommend Unilodgers
