I’d rather walk to Tunisia than fly with them again
On the way back from Tunis, they told me I had no luggage allowance, bearing in mind I came with the same luggage and had no issues as they say 23kg is allowed as default with economy tickets. Nope, they insisted I pay extra for the luggage. I advised the group of friends I was with had the same ticket but had no issues and their bags were already checked in, they then proceeded to find my friends, take their boarding passes off them and WOULD NOT GIVE THEM BACK UNTIL THEY PAID FOR LUGGAGE WHICH THEY HAD ALREADY CHECKED IN. Honestly the worst service I have ever received, the woman said to me “you knew you couldn’t bring luggage” calling me a liar as if I would bring a large suitcase knowing I had no luggage included??? Honestly she’d lost her damn mind I don’t know how she is still employed with her bad attitude. This is their way of scamming you out of money to fund their failing airline. Will not be flying with them again I hope they go bust. Such a shame as on my trip I got to experience the amazing culture and kindness of the Tunisian people but this airline doesn’t represent this.

Booked a flight through Trip.com from Nice to Tunis departing on Oct 31 that was supposed to arrive at 5.30 pm, well, we got to Tunis as 1.30. 1.30. AM! THE DAY AFTER.
Now, our return flight was supposed to be TODAY, Sunday Nov 3rd. Yeah, you wish! They CANCELLED it and moved it to TOMORROW at MAYBE 5.30am. IS THIS A F****** JOKE? Don't ever book a flight with this company. EVER.

After a year traveling and dealing with hundreds of airlines, I can honestly say that Tunisair is by far the worst. After 4 delays and lots of excuses, our flight was cancelled. We no support from the airline, we had to sleep in the airport to take the new flight leaving at 14:30. Well, same story, a new delay today to 18:00. Now is 15:45 and we were told that now is been delayed to probably 23:00 tonight. This company honestly deserves to be closed. They’re unprofessional and dishonest. I highly recommend everyone to stay away of this airline unless you want to lose money, energy and time.

Do your future self a favour and never book on TunisAir. The most erratic unprofessional non communicative airline I've had the displeasure of using. Flight from London delayed 2 hours. Zero communication and currently 2 hour delay coming back. From what I can see it's just done to poor management. Why are they always delayed. Never use and save time and stress. I just wish I'd known.

This my personal worst experience ever
This my personal worst experience ever, I would not recommend or wish flying with this airline to my worst enemy.
We were traveling to Lisbon having acquired my Visa from Netherlands Embassy, that is because there are no direct flight to Amsterdam from tunis.
So what started as 3 hours direct flight to Lisbon ended up being 3 additional flights costing over 900 € for one of us since she was not allowed to board because her visa is single entry which makes no senes since Lisbon & Amsterdam are both within Europe and are both Schengen countries.
Even the Portuguese passport control officer found this to be nonsense and didn’t make any sense to him why would they allow her to travel anywhere else but Portugal when it’s in Schengen area.
Then the ultimate cheery on top, my luggage didn’t make it with me. It was the only suitcase left behind and this case never happened in Lisbon airport before with Tunisair it was the first ever ticket issued at the lost and found office and they didn’t even have a log of any bag under my ticket.
Eventually after multiple inquiries at Carthage airport we think we found the bag and they still have it, it never boarded the plane. Weeks and countless tries to convince them not to send the bag got us nowhere as they insisted to send it even though they know I won’t be there or be able to receive it as I had already left Lisbon, Portugal and even Europe.
They ruined our vacation, had us spending way over what we planned to spend and way over our budget in flight tickets and in shopping for necessary things since I had absolutely nothing on me other than the clothes I am wearing. There was no communication no replies to any of my emails no compensation for the delay luggage or being denied boarding.
Till this moment I’m unsure what happened to my bag, I wasn’t sure I will ever be able to retrieve it. Thankfully after emailing Lisbon airport multiple times with the claim that Tunisair said they sent my bag to Lisbon they were able to find it and send it back to Tunis and then I had to intervene and with the help of Libyanwings they help to send it directly to Tripoli for me to personally collect it there.
Hopefully I will never ever board another flight with Tunisair and I don’t recommend them not at all and I really hope someday someone does something or sue them for all the negligence and incompetence of their company and employees.

Traveler was treated like a criminal …
I bought a ticket for a young Moroccan national traveling from Casablanca to Istanbul. The Tunisian airline flight had a connection in Carthage Tunisia. During the transfer the young first time flyer was pulled aside and treated like a criminal and his VALID passport was confiscated. They accused him of not having a return ticket so one was quickly purchased and presented to the agents so that the passenger could continue travel. The agents were not satisfied with the return ticket from an airlines called Pegasus. They insisted on him buying a “real ticket from a reputable airlines”. The ticket was purchased through Booking.com So, a second ticket was bought from Royal air Maroc and that ticket was rejected, as well. The passenger remained detained at Carthage airport for two days where he went without food or water. Eventually, he was deported back to Morocco and still they want me to pay for that airline ticket.
Very bad experience
Very bad experience! After years of being known for world record delays, now they come with a new misleading luggage policy: 8 kg for hand luggage, they'll weight your backpack if you have one and sum it upp. If you have just 1 kg above limit (combining hand luggage and backpack), they'll make you pay 75€. The workers themselves know how shameful it is and are constantly receiving complaints of passengers. Out of shame they sometimes do not apply it strictly. That will depend on the mood of the supervisor. Shameful company that does not represent the nice values of Tunisian people.

Travelling with Tunisair is cool: the staff is professional and dedicated, the flights themselves are roomy enough and their luggage policy is okay. They are often late, but nothing to worry about, given all the other positive aspects of this carrier.

I’ve read lots of bad reviews for this airline, dating back a few years. This is my first time flying with Tunisair and it will definitely be my last. It’s clear nothing has improved in the many years management must have been aware of the terrible service levels. What an indictment of the airline and an embarrassment to the people of Tunisia. Rude, unhelpful and unprofessional staff - and that’s in the business class lounge. Save your money and trouble and book with ANY other airline

Worst airline to travel with. They canceled my booking 5 days before the trip and don't offer a refund so the only option is to travel with them on the next day.
Can't even call this a service, not worth flying with
This companys employees have 0 customer service skills, zero communication skills and flights with no notifications on screens dotted everywhere in the airport.
You can imagine as a traveller who only speaks really in English how stressful this experience was.
They took no responsibility on their side for me missing my flight and also my checked in baggage was never sent to England. They said some stuff I don't understand, I asked staff to explain to my dad on the phone as he understands Tunisian and another Police told the police talking to me 'why explain to her dad, you don't need to explain to him anything' the police on coming out of customs took my airplane ticket from me. They also told me they will as far as I understood board me onto the next flight no problem. They said my checked in baggage will be with the diwana downstairs.
I spent minimum an hour going around the airport to find diwana that is hidden and not even in sight. No signs towards it. Then to find out that my baggage has been put in Tunisair lost and found and they changed my name and the bag plastic wrapping was ripped into. The guy refused to give me my bag although I know it's mine and he told me it flew off to England after checking the system. Organised crime I believe. When I brought someone else they just peeled the new label off my label and found it says my name on my checked in ticket on my bag handle.
Worst experience, they then told me to pay 348 dinar to book a new ticket. Spoke to my dad as if he is rubbish.
Back and forth between Tunisair office and the agency arguing go to them and the other go to other. They put all the blame on me.
Next day we come in. The guy at the agency says I wasn't working yesterday but my colleague informed me that your daughter was 'tsama3a fil klem', meaning I was swearing at the. Even telling my dad to hurry up with paying as they're working. Awful company and awful employees. When I said rubbish service the Employee said to my dad 'see she's tsib fina (swearing at them)'. All I did was express I'm not happy with the service and what it is. Rubbish.
Never again with Tunisair, as a Tunisian I am telling you it is not worth it!! The stress with my experience with Tunisair has given me stomach pain, headache for 3 days and an eczema break out on my neck and hands. I was late coming back to England to sort out my new job papers. Also they broke my suitcase so imagine as a 5'2 woman I had to pull this 23KG bag from the actual bag handle around by myself off buses. I had two suitcases. Also coming to Gatwick there was no direct national express. I had to travel 5/6hrs back home when usually the journey direct buses are 2 hours.
