Useless, waste of time - for UK users at least.

Absolute nonsense system! Seems like a good idea, but it can't be trusted. To determine best fit for sandals from a US based company, Lands End, via their UK site, they asked which UK shoes fitted me best & I quoted size 6 in Hotter Comfort (their options included Hotter & Clarks shoes, both UK companies). The system then proceeded to tell me I needed a US size 6, which means it's a 4 in UK sizes. No! I'd stated I was a UK 6, not 4! I'll likely need an 8 as Lands End's own site stated, but I was wondering if I really needed a 7.5 or a 7 (US) as sandals can come out bigger on me & my feet can slop about which isn't safe. I've bought slightly too big clogs from Lands End before, & don't want to have to order more than 1 size, & have the hassle of sending 1 pair back.
Waste of time, to get it so basically wrong re US/UK sizes.
