Hi all,

Please don't use this website anymore to book your flights. Below is my experience, still the issue is not solved.

I have Booked an air ticket to my home country for my family having 4 passengers prior one month of the departure and after a week I got a message from trip.ae that the airline has cancelled the flight due to some issues(there was nothing about the refund of ticket charges). Since it was a connection flight, currently my booking is only for the one part. Everyone knows, the same cannot be used since the connecting flight is already cancelled.

I have called many times to contact the trip .ae customer care, but they were not giving a proper response(It's an International number in Greece and mobile bills were hiking up like hell). Atlast, a very polite man took the line given e an offer that I have to Pay AED 500 (USD 135) so that they will book a new flight for the 4 passengers on the same itinerary. Unfortunately I have paid that amount trusting them again.

It has been 2 weeks now after I done the extra payment and my flight is next week. Till now there is no response from those cheaters.

flexible ticket option they will not refund any money . in my case they tell me " We would like to inform you that for any change or cancellation our agency charges US$30.00. In case of cancellation your e-ticket fare is non-refundable, and the refundable amount is less than our service fee of US$30.00. Therefore, if you choose to proceed with the cancellation of your ticket, no amount will be refunded."

I really cannot recommend anyone uses this company. On the outward leg of the flight to Indonesia, the flights were fine. Then they informed me I had been previously informed of flight changes when I hadn't. The new ones were getting me back to Singapore very, very late. I asked if there were any other flights and was told the only option was to cancel and hope for a refund(which you won't get) or take what was offered. The lack of care was accompanied by very long periods of absolute silence from Moemen El-Adawi - two weeks being an example up to the time where I took over the whole business, went to the airport myself and changed my flight on the spot to something (a) far more direct, (b) faster and (c) more convenient. Garuda informed me they had never been approached for more convenient flights. According to the 'apology' from some manager based in Greece(presumed) the named agent had done nothing wrong. Leave off the last word of the last sentence and you have it right. Would not book with them again and certainly wouldn't advise anyone to trust them to do more than take the money. Book directly with the airline.

They are thieves and scam, you will be overcharged by all means, and without any warnings.

Avoid this agent like the plague if you don’t wsnt to loose money and your hair! They will try and fleece money from you at every step. Book directly with the airlines you will save in every way in the long run.

On my return flight, I showed-up in the airport to check-in but I could NOT because of a problem caused by Trip.ae so I and my friends could NOT get on the flight.

After I contacted trip.ae customer support, I got new flight tickets for the next day. Therefore, me and my friends had to stay another night which is costly.

I emailed them about this issue.... but there was no response till now (What a great customer service!)

Worst customer support they never respond to emails for a flight change or cancellation!

They have the poor UI, which isn't clear which asks for your Surname first and then Forename.

My tickets have the wrong name combination - Surname Forename. `I spotted this as soon as the ticket was allocated.

But despite my attempts to ring them for the last three days, I've had no response to emails, the phone calls take over an hour to get through, and when you do get through they can't do nothing.

Due to their lack of response, and the airline unable to change the ticket name I will lose out over £1000 pounds on a return ticket.

For any wishing to book steer clear of this outfit. They came up as the cheapest on Skyscanner for a flight from Abu Dhabi to Manchester.

The company is South African, the phone number they provide is a U.K number operated at UAE times, they are located in Greece and run a website with UAE name.
