Lovely quiet place perfect for me to work while in Manchester. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you need. Lovely hosts.

The prooperty itself was seriously lacking. The limited towels were damp upon arrival, the internet did not work, there was no shampoo or amenities and the location of the lockbox was inconvenient. Even though I paid for a 2 nights, I left within 30 mins of arriving as it was not particularly clean and very depressing, but most importantly, no working internet!

Booked a property with them via Airbnb. They cancelled on me after I'd arrived at the property after check-in time. They'd failed to respond to my earlier messages about check in instructions and the phone number given didn't work. Once Airbnb reached them (as I stood for ages in the rain), they sent a single message and ignored my response to it. Unacceptable.

The property on Britton street is advertised that it comes with parking but there is no parking here. Drug taking parties goes on all night and it’s a family street. Not appropriate for this location and is honestly cruel on the residents. Shameful

We want to thank Birger for his hospitality and his warmth during our whole trip. The apartment is close to a norwegian grocery store and 5mins away from a bus stop that takes you right to the airport and the center. This was our ideal accomodation for our trip. We had the time our lives, definitely recommend this place.

Awful not as described cooking facilities! Hottub is a cheap bnq one! Smelling of chlorine and half full! Bathroom isn't attached and separate! Sink is in the field! Wish I'd read the previous reviews...
Didn't stay and just drove home as was just a one night stay! Got a refund via booking dot com...

Dirty filthy greasy kitchen,disgusting dirty toilets,disgusting dirty flooring,absolutely awful experience,took me 4 hrs just to get it basic clean...won't ever be booking through you again nor recommend anyone

Amazing place fantastic views very spacious has everything you need for a fantastic weekend hosts are very welcoming and cater for all you needs and your furry pets 🐶.
Highly recommend shall definitely re book .

The key pad on the door is a little difficult to use if you’re on your own, my mum struggled. But overall great

Messaged twice about a property I was looking to book on Airbnb. No reply either time. Would definitely not recommend.

Our stay was not good.

We booked the accommodation for 9 guests.
There were not enough beds for all of the guests.
Online one of the rooms is advertised as having 2 X double beds (with a picture showing this) but in reality there is only one double bed and a small pull out sofa bed.
There was not enough bedding for 9 guests. There was not enough towels for 9 guests.
The heating was turned off at the radiators (in winter?!) with no instructions on how to turn them on. This coupled with the fact that both sofa beds had NO bedding made for a very cold nights sleep.
One of the bed’s mattress protectors was blood stained (you could see this through the sheets, we didn’t look specifically under the sheets). This is a health and safety violation.
The skirting boards behind and beside the beds were laden with dust and dirt.

I booked a property to stay in for the weekend on Booking.com via Travelnest. The host contacted me and said the property wasn’t actually available and to request a refund which I would receive asap. Travel nest refused to refund my money, and didn’t answer any of the questions or emails I sent. They also didn’t refund the money once the host had told them to. When I called them to explain, they were unhelpful and told me I had to deal with booking.com. Terribly poor customer service. I will ensure to stay away from any properties that are managed by travel nest in the future. Thankfully booking.com stepped in and refunded me. It took over a week to sort.

Great hosts, beautiful location, peaceful and relaxing.

Hot tubs immaculate, has all amenities that you need, hosts are great with keeping things up to date during bad weather, nice welcome gifts.

The property was misrepresented and uninhabitable. Its a ground floor flat within a community block, filthy, dirty, and not properly cleaned. From the entrance, the stench was unbearable, making it impossible to stay.

My friends and I were forced to book alternative accommodation immediately. We checked out as soon as we realised that the property owner did not care about our concerns and was not going to make any effort to resolve them. Despite raising complaints, the owner was dismissive and unresponsive.

I am extremely upset and disappointed. It is inconceivable that customers are not protected in such circumstances. When I sought guidance from a third-party organisation, I was told that my fate was sealed and that only the property owner could help if I needed a refund. This is unacceptable, as travelnest facilitated the booking and should ensure customer protection against false advertising and uninhabitable conditions.

The communication was non existent. We booked via Expedia who subbed it to Travel nest who passed it to idyllic properties who passed it to the host. Except they didn’t. During that process travel nest forgot to book our accommodation. We arrived in the village in 2c weather with no accommodation and a non responsive host. Travel nest customer service was overseas and unhelpful and I repeatedly got cut off and had to call and start again. They kept saying they’d call the host and for me to hang up but this went on for hours. Awful service. Wouldn’t use them again. Incurred extra costs taking family to local cafe to warm up and have hot drinks while we decided how to proceed to arrange a bed for the night. No offer of any compensation and a ruined weekend.

Lovely, self-contained apartment with more amenities than described in previous reviews (e.g. tea towels, seasoning, washing up liquid). Toaster, kettle, microwave, hobs and fridge/freezer all in seemingly good condition. Very friendly and welcoming hosts in a gorgeous little town. TV and internet easy to use and reliable. Safe parking nearby. Felt at home quickly. Only very minor downside is that I struggled to open windows for some fresh air, but I suspect that may have some elements of user error.
