Wish I hadcread the reviews first. Exactly the same experience as others. Booked a taxi from Milan to Malpensa , paid about 60% ( not 50%) " deposit". Within a few hours was told no available taxi so booking cancelled and would receive a refund. Still waiting and no response from "Luca". Have notified my credit card issuing Bank and will await refund as pretty obvious Taxi.cab are not refunding me.

This a scam company. They cancelled the trip immediately after sending a confirmation email and taking 50% deposit. Was informed that they would refund after 4 days and almost a month later still no refund has been received. This happened in Lecce, Italy.

1 star is even too good! Booked for airport transfer from Lido di Camaoire to Pisa, paid 50% deposit. They cancelled the evening before... which was bad enough with the stress it caused to re-organise (for myself and 7 famiy members including a 2 year old) a replacement taxi... However since then they have failed to return my deposit. Wish i had found these reviewed before as I most definitely would never have used them!

I would give a zero if I could. This company is a scam and fraud. Do NOT book it. I’ve lost money because they ask for a 50% deposit, send 2 confirmations and then cancel. Why has it not been shut down??!

Pissed at the moment. We have waited for an hour on a cab and did not receive any information. They demanded 50% beforehand and no one showed up. Tried to mail them several times but no response. Do not book them. (Italy)

If I could have give zero stars, I would. Booked a taxi for Sicily this summer. Waited for over an hour till our taxi. There was no phone number we could call. After an hour I received an email that our taxi was cancelled. We should get our 50% deposit (€60!!) back in a couple of days, but today -weeks later- I still haven’t received anything. DON’T BOOK

Travel.cab is a scam company!! Ripped me off twice and will not pay back money - they said a taxi driver was on their way while I was in an airport at midnight and they lied. No refund has been provided. Shut down this website ASAP

Same as many other people on here - cancelled after paying the deposit, then no refund. Nearly missed my last train home as the station was quite far away.

I booked a taxi yesterday taken 50% of my money. Have emailed them twice to confirm the booking with no response. Full refund will be expected as I will not take the chance and miss my flight for a no show

This one star review should be a -5 star review. This is a SCAM!!! I booked a taxi on July 7, 2024 for a total price of €72 and had to pay 50% in advance for a total of €38. I made the payment and shortly thereafter got an email stating that they were looking for a driver. After a while I got an email stating:

"We regret to inform you that we were unable to find an available taxi for you.
You will receive a full refund within 4-7 business days to the same payment method.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

I waited the "4-7" working days and received no refund at all. I then emailed Luca at the provided email address with absolutely no response.

Please avoid using Travel.cab!!!

Cancelled 19 hours before our departure, most companies want 48hrs to book an airport transfer. So it gave me very little scope to book a transfer from Lucca to Pisa international. Paid over 50% deposit and I wish I’d have read the reviews before booking. Avoid as they are not a reliable service/company.

Absolute scam. Paid a deposit for a taxi to the airport for 5am and no pickup or even an email.

I was quoted €40 for the trip and had to pay €23 deposit (supposedly 50% - this should have raised a red flag already). Received an email immediately with reference number and confirming payment, saying they are looking for a driver and will send details soon. An hour later I received another email saying there was no taxi available and the full refund would be done within 4 to 7 working days. It has now been 15 working days with no evidence of a refund. They have not replied to my email query.

DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

100% SCAM. We paid a 50% deposit for a taxi that never showed up and these is no phone number to call on the website, only an area to type that got no response. Have reported to Google. SCAM

As almost half of the reviewers said, they take half of the calculated price (it was actually more than half for me as the calculated price was €36 but they charged me €23 for the 50%), then after the payment they send the email saying no available taxi. Someone should stop these scammers. They waste peoples' time and money!

Travel.Cab is 100% a scam. Like others have stated here I paid a deposit for a transfer to Milan, then received an email stating that no drivers were available and that the deposit will be refunded. I never will never get this deposit back.

The positive reviews here are all fake, all made by the scammer who is using multiple accounts. A quick glance shows clear similarities in writing styles. Who uses words like “graciously” when reviewing a taxi service.

The reply to this review by “Luca” will be the same generic nonsense as the rest ‘Please wait Bank Timeline etc etc. ALL LIES!!!!!

If it wasn’t for the staff at the hotel I was staying arranging a transfer, my family and I would have missed our activity for the day.

Do not fall for this like I did, use Uber or speak to your Hotel for transfers. Hopefully this review saves others from experiencing the same fate

This is definitely a scam. Don't use this company. They took my deposits, there's no way to contact them to get them back. I honestly feel like a fool for using them.

An excellent service, meticulously managed in every aspect. The booking process and it's management were simple. The driver was outstanding, and the vehicle was clean 110% recommended.

For a vacation in Sardinia, we used Travel.cab for our airport/village transfer. We were warmly welcomed at the gate, and the trip was perfect. Our driver, a wonderful person, introduced us to his beloved land during the journey. Their professionalism and courtesy are their calling cards. I highly recommend them.
