Africa Geographic delivers dreams. We spent just over 3 weeks in Namibia, Botswana and Vic Falls this summer. Holidays like this don’t come around every summer for us so want it to be the absolute best it can be. Delivering the holiday of a lifetime starts with imagination and expert planning by someone who really knows where you are going and thoughtfully adds in all the little extras to make it more than just an ‘off the shelf’ holiday. Then requires warm, professional and highly skilled people on the ground to deliver on what expected, manage the unexpected, and bring a place to life. Also needs continued interest and follow-through from company should you need to be in touch once all paid for and actually happening. Africa Geographic, Christian, Joram and the many other people involved in making our dreams come true ticked all the boxes.

Christian Boix of Africa Geographic provided an exceptional travel experience from start to finish. He created a custom itinerary that perfectly matched our preferences, making all reservations and ensuring every detail was handled with precision. At each location, we were met with quality drivers from his partner companies, which made our travels seamless and enjoyable. Christian utilized new technology to deliver a fully offline itinerary for our phone, which was incredibly convenient. Throughout the trip, he was always available, promptly addressing any issues that arose and making us feel supported every step of the way. His dedication and attention to detail made our trip truly unforgettable.

Two lodges for 5 days each were booked for us by Nadia. Both excellent. Safari drives were morning and late afternoon every day for around 3 hours each drive. This meant we saw many different animals. A wonderful adventure. Nadia discussed with us beforehand our budget and what we really wanted to do on this holiday. All went smoothly and we’d love to do something similar again in the future.

When we decided to plan a birding trip to Uganda in may this year I contacted Christian Boix of Africa Geographic to organise a two week road trip to the major "birding" hot spots.
The trip was a great success, seeing the amazing Shoe Bill and so many new and beautiful birds in various places and habitats it was hard to keep up! Brian, our Guide was exceptional, with so much knowledge, patience and enthusiasm as was our Driver/Guide Joel.
We also had a successful trek to see a troop of mountain Gorillas, always a thrill.
The trip was very well organised and well priced for South African visitors.
Christian has a vast knowledge of birding in Uganda and the country itself and his guidance and planning was much appreciated.
This is the third trip he has organised for me and I would consider using Africa Geographic for any future trips I might plan.

As a conservation photographer, I spent months researching and looking for the perfect opportunity for a photo safari for myself and my husband. I found that with Africa Geographic! Christian Boix worked with me to arrange for a magical 8 days with Sentinel Mara Camp on the banks of the Mara River and was so helpful every step of the way. We wanted lots of animals and few people, and we found that in the peaceful and beautiful Mara Camp in the shoulder season. Everything was beautifully planned and executed and the camp itself was so perfect-- we can't wait to go back! We had our own excellent driver-guide, Benson, who was such a pleasure to get to know and to spend long days with in the Mara. As a wildlife photographer I like to spend long and patient hours watching the wildlife and waiting for interesting behaviors. We found a like-minded companion in Benson, who would put me in the perfect position for my photographs and always listened to my wishes. We shared our respect of the wildlife and the belief of good ethics as visitors to the animals’ habitat as well, and I was so impressed with his instincts for the animals' behavior and being able to predict their movements. I learned so much from him and was impressed with his professionalism. I am going through my thousands of photos from our incredible experiences from every day of our visit.

Back at camp, you can't ask for a more beautiful setting in a peaceful forest, literally just 2 minutes away from a sunrise view of giraffes, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, hippos, impala, topi, dikers, serval, vervet monkeys, baboons, and lions. That was all just in our “backyard"!

The camp is run entirely off of solar power and I appreciated all of the incredible details –– from a completely plastic free camp, to so many small comforts in the spacious tent, to our amazing helper Jon, who cleaned our tent impeccably every day while we were out, tailored our showers to exactly our preferred temperature, and made sure we had our coffee and biscuits at the early hour we needed them to get on the trail before sunrise. Every meal, whether a picnic on the road or an elegant dinner in camp, was delicious and we were impressed with every person’s attentiveness to our wishes and dietary restrictions. Adding to the camp magic was the constant presence of hippos in the river below us and the evening and morning serenade of hippos grunting and splashing.

Looking for a perfect safari experience? We can’t recommend Africa Geographic and Sentinel Mara Camp highly enough! (Note: we are also very impressed with the conservation work and community support that AG is doing!)

Africa Geographic and more specifically Christian were very professional, with great advice and flexibility when setting up the trip. I would always go for them again.

This safari on foot through Tsavo National Park was the trip of a lifetime, expertly enabled by Christian Boix at AG, who assisted me assiduously from the initial enquiry through the whole administrative process to the final planning stage right up to departure. I cannot praise his efforts highly enough. The safari itself was an unforgettable experience. I'm immensely grateful to AG and to Tropical-Ice, who managed everything on the ground in Kenya, for making this wonderful safari possible.

Christian developed a thorough itinerary that covered all of our areas of interest. Shortly before departing on our trip, there was a major political crisis that necessitated a change to two days of our schedule. Christian managed those changes effectively and ensured that our adventures were still amazing. Our driver/guide, Lucky, anticipated all of our needs and managed every moment of our trip. Recommend this company without hesitation.

Two fabulous lodges: Enkewa and Saruni Samburu, wonderful service, great guides. Breathtaking accommodation and scenery at Saruni. New, unusual mammals for us and dozens of new birds. Teenage grandchildren loved the whole adventure. Well arranged by Africa Geographic as usual

Christian from Africa Geographic Travel was really good in helping us with a special occasion safari. His advice on selection of camps in the Okavango was really good. All arrangements worked well and it was a great experience.

We had a marvelous family trip during christmas holidays. AG tailor designed a perfect trip for us. The wildlife was fascinating. Our guide Paul was wonderful. We loved the staff in camp, particularly Pula and MK, and were really happy to have visited.
We loved camping and the outdoor areas.

The mokoro was really great and we enjoyed the boat on the Chobe River. The experience was superb.

Our guide Paul was a delight. He was informative, helpful, funny and told us the backstory on many of the animals along the way. I learned a lot from him, and we enjoyed his company very much. He has the patience of Job!

The highlights were the animals. Watching wild dogs after a kill and seeing them following a herd of wildebeest. Seeing so many lions and listening to Paul tell us what he knew about each pride. The elephants were magnificent and the birds were fantastic. The wildlife from the insects to the mega-mammals were of course the highlights. Indescribably beautiful. Also: the baobobs!

We completely agree with Jane Allin’s comments, the friend that we traveled with and who suggested this trip to us. It was the first of its kind in our experience and exceeded our expectations in every way. Peter especially enjoyed the extraordinary opportunities to photograph such wonderful sights. Rosemary learnt a great deal about the nature and wildlife of the areas visited and appreciated the expertise of the guides who attended upon us. Christian arranged the trip in the perfect order, with the exciting mobile camping safari for the first nine days, followed up by a more luxurious experience in the Lodges. Our trip to Zambia Lower Zambesi Parc and Southern Luangwa Valley and Victoria Falls was unforgettable.Never seen so much game in 9 days.Sausage Tree Camp and Lions Camp were superb.Lunch in the Zambesi at Sausage Tree Camp and in the Bush at Lions Camp were unforgettable.Victoria Falls Hotel remains one of my favourite hotels in the world.Christian,as usual, organised the trip and all worked excellently.It must have been about the fifth or sixth trip organised by Christian for us.

The experience we had from the beginning to end exceeded our expectations. Christian knew all that was needed to ensure our seamless travel and it was surely an awesome experience. The staff at Sentinel was very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable except finer details in the rooms like checking that glasses used are replaced with clean ones or washed to be used again
Meals with chef Joshua was something we always looked forward to. Peter, the manager , was exceptional. I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family.

One thing that I did not understand is the staff that is 100% male. This we noticed by finer details of housekeeping that were not taken care of throughout.
