Unwilling to Accommodate Common, Severe Allergies

I would give them a lower rating if I could.

I have a severe allergy to one of the top 8 global allergens in the world, to the point where most airlines no longer either offer it for purchase on flights or remove it from service when I inform them of the severity of my allergy.

I called them twice, the first time I asked if they are aware if they carry any nut products on their flights and if they do if they can remove them from service. The agent was incredibly rude and said he did not know what was available for service but that they effectively wouldn’t be able to do anything to help me. When I requested to speak to a manager to see if they could help me he declined and hung up on me.

I tried calling back a second time, this time I had found an online menu that shows they do in fact carry multiple items with this allergen, and he informed me there was nothing they could do and that it was against their policy to transfer me to a manager. In all cases, I requested a refund but was told they were unable to provide a refund.

This airline is not safe for ANYONE traveling with allergies and they have clearly made no attempt to update their practices to be more current. Their customer service is so abhorrent that I ended up booking with a competitor airline at significant expense to me and they were able to accommodate my allergy without issue.

I would never recommend that anyone book with Transavia.

Avoid Transavia – cancelled flights and no compensation

If you are considering booking with Transavia to save a bit of money over a flagship carrier—don’t. I made the mistake of trying to save 100 euros, and I am now looking at spending 300 euros more because of their absolute lack of professionalism.

I booked this trip specifically to attend a concert. When Transavia cancelled my flight, the only alternative they offered would have caused me to miss the event entirely. Despite their legal obligation to book me on a flight that closely matches the one cancelled, they refused!

The most frustrating part? They actually agreed to help me via Facebook message, but as soon as I tried to follow up, they completely stopped responding. Being "ghosted" by an airline’s customer service while you are stranded and about to miss a once-in-a-lifetime event is a new level of unprofessionalism. They are an absolute joke.

Advice for others in the same boat:
If you are currently dealing with a cancellation or being ignored by Transavia, please take the time to file a formal complaint with the ECC. Under EU Regulation 261/2004, the airline is obliged to offer you assistance and re-routing that actually works for your schedule. Don't let them get away with this.

Same as other reviews for this bleak…

Same as other reviews for this bleak airline. We were forced to pay 65euros by rude staff for a bag that was supposed to be over sized to fit under the seat but guess what - it stowed neatly under the seat. Complained to a couple of cabin crew who were helpful and said to request refund which I did together with photographic proof. Eventually after appealing a refusal, they did refund but it took nearly 4 months!!! As bad as Ryanair and no way will fly with them again. A horrid end to a lovely French holiday.

Wurst company, very bad flying staff

Flew from Casablanca to Paris today.
The pilot informed about delay once we were in the plane.
Few hours delay blocked in the craft.
The worst is the attitude of the flying staff.
They are so rude. They talk aggressively to customers.
It smells the far right.
Horrible company to fly with.

The worst airline I have flown with so…

The worst airline I have flown with so far! Horrible attitude at Orly airport forcing everyone to weigh their hand luggages and forcing 80%+ of legitimate luggages to check in for €65!

On top of this when we broke the wheels on my forced check in luggage, they said sorry you should have claimed it within 7 days so sorry you are late!!!!!

Never fly this airline again!
