So starting with the fact that I was looking for online lesson and they told me they offer started in Sept 2023 and was lied that they will start soon until I had my first exam and figure out they will not have it, so paid £800 for books asked for refund they refused as only after 30 days you can ask , my 2nd exam one task was not in their books sent 3 months prior so had to retake my exam and provider came with a lame excuse saying,:" AAT , recently updated their curriculum!", so asked that i should been notified , they didn't care. Would not recommend them to anyone as they are rubbish, if I knew would have ordered the books myself and paid less than £ 100

We have reviewed our records and believe we have already addressed your concerns in a timely and professional manner, but let me address these within this public forum.
• Firstly, you enrolled on your course in September 2022, and we upgraded you to the ‘live’ option free of charge in 2023. Despite the online lessons being available to you, you elected not to attend any of them. This was your choice, and you were never lied to.
• As per our returns policy, you had the option to cancel the course at any point within the first 14 days of purchasing your course and receiving the materials. At no point within that timeframe did you ask for a refund.
• When the AAT updated their curriculum, we provided you with the updated materials in PDF format, as these updates came into effect after you received the book related to this update. This was not a “lame excuse”, it was fact.
I’ve had a look back on your file and can see that on the occasions that you have struggled; your tutor has provided you with numerous replies (over 130 e-mails have been sent to you throughout your studies with us) filled with worked examples.
We have tried at every opportunity to guide you toward the successful completion of your course, but you have elected not to follow our processes and complete the course as directed.
As you know, our commitment to our students is to equip you with the skills (if you are open to learning them, of course) to work out various scenarios that you might encounter within the industry.
If we were to simply give you the answers to all of the questions you put to us (which we will never do), you haven’t really learnt anything. You need to understand the reasoning behind it.
One example:
On the 28th of February you asked: -
“Can you please advise how to calculate prime cost and marginal cost on Task 1”
On the 29th of February your tutor provided you with a full worked example.
Based on the example, you would be able to work out how to calculate prime cost and marginal cost regardless of the figures (as you have been shown how to do it).
Yet, later on the 29th, you asked:
“Can you please help with the prime cost calculation:” (Screenshot provided) which would lead us to believe that you either didn’t receive your tutors' original e-mail, you hadn’t fully understood the contents of it or you simply ignored it in the hopes that your tutor would simply give you the answer to the screenshot (again, we will never do this, as you’re not learning anything in receiving the answer).
If these examples were not sufficient, you might have considered sending a more robust e-mail (or even a telephone call), as this would have enabled your tutor to provide you with more detail/information.
At no point have you replied to any of your tutors’ e-mails indicating that you didn’t understand the contents of their e-mails.
We understand that every learner is different; some prefer text, some videos and some need to speak to their tutor to really grasp what is being taught. That is why your tutor also advised you of the existence of the videos that we have created that cover the topics that you have queried, as it might help. You’re under no obligation to watch them, as this style of learning might not suit you, but the option was there.
With distance learning, the onus is always on the learner to make contact with the tutor (via e-mail or telephone) and your tutor would then offer you guidance. Your tutor has done this on every occasion.
What you have paid for was not just books; it was the means to obtain a qualification through hard work, dedication and a diligent study pattern, whilst taking on board all of the information that we as your training provider will provide. This, we have provided in full. We cannot be held liable for students not following our processes/guidance.
Your studies with Training Link ended in March 2024.
We would like to wish you every success for the future, wherever this leads you.
Not Bad, Not great
Barely heard from my Tutor even after completing exams, only heard from them when they wanted to remind me i was behind but did not particularly offer support.
Purchased the Sage learning, was not given any information on Sage or how it works.
The Boxes given to answer questions in the box are small, was expected to write a letter outlining 5 errors in about 150 characters.
I passed my exams by going through the content which is fine enough, would of been nice to receive a bit more checking in as you pay a lot of money for the service
Update: thank you for your response, regarding the Sage Learning I was not advised that this would of been taught at the End of the course, that doesn’t really make a lot of sense to be honest. I would expect Tutors, to get in contact with their students asking if they need help with anything. Instead all I received was requests to buy extensions; not very proactive.
I have finished my final exam so even if on your books I haven’t completed my course. I have, thank you!

We understand that timely communication is crucial. While we strive to maintain regular contact with our students, as we always work to our student's pace, the onus is always on the student to get in touch, particularly if there is anything they're unsure of or need help with.
Our tutors are available Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00, and we don't restrict you on the amount of contact you have.
That being said, we'll be sure to review our internal processes to see if anything needs addressing.
Regarding Sage Learning, I'm sorry, but we're left rather confused as to the content of your review in this regard.
Our records show that we haven't sent any of the learning material or download as yet. This is usually sent once you get toward the end of your course, but as you haven't completed the final unit within your online learning portal, the trigger point hasn't been reached.
Had you completed the course to its fullest, we would have sent you all available resources for your Sage training, so you can see our confusion here.
We're pleased to hear that you were able to pass your exams by going through the course content. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed.

Great provider and easy experience
Everything from signing up to getting tutors help was super easy. Love that you can choose to still get paper copies of workbooks. Any issues I had were quickly sorted by the customer service team (IT related). Did level 1 of bookkeeping in 2 months and now onto level 2! Will continue to use your company.

Superb training provider for AAT
Superb training provider for AAT. I have found the content and structure of the distance learning package very good and as a result I am achieving good results in my exams so far. Communication with the company is excellent. Quick to respond and they provide lots of general support along the way. Simple and easy to understand
I'd very much recommend Training Link to anyone looking to learn accounting. Their books that they provide lay out all the relevant information in chapters and all the information within those chapters is very simple and easy to understand. There are also examples and activities throughout them to test your knowledge. As well as this there's assessments to do on the website which is a brilliant way of learning what you know and do not know, and any wrong answers will be shown as well as what the correct answers are and how they were obtained, which is very useful for figuring out why you went wrong.
Also if you have any trouble there is easy access to the tutors to ask questions and they respond quickly and clearly.
Overall i would thoroughly recommend Training Link as I have had lots of fun learning all the information within the books

Informative Resources and Helpful Support
I used Training Link for my Bookkeeping Level 2 studies. The textbooks were very informative and broke topics down in to digestible chunks to not make it too overwhelming. My tutor was always very quick to respond to any emails with any questions I had, and was always very helpful. I intend to use them for my level 3 studies.

Excellent support and training materials
I completed a level 3 Diploma in Payroll Management with Training Link and I have to say both the course material and the tutor support was excellent. The books were easy to follow and explained everything in depth and were easy to read.

I have just completed AAT Level 2 Bookkeeping and achieved Distinction. TL provided easy to follow study material along with access to a portal containing various tasks, helpful videos and tips. Tutors are only an email away. Overall, very happy I chose TL.
