Any excuse to devalue your phone from the initial price given. They first make you a very low revaluation and when you decline they come back with a second offer then when that’s declined you get the “this is the third and final offer” kind of pressure and then they have the cheek to charge you to return the phone when you don’t accept that final offer! This kind of tactic is disgusting and should be banned as a practice because that is what this total con job is. Completely avoid this company and give the business to someone who deserves it. This is not an honest company.

Very easy transaction.
Find your phone on the list.
Select the conditions of the phone.
I felt confident it was good condition.
Get sent the packaging. They insure up to £100.
Then send via post office.
Waited 2 days to receive.
Then another 2 days to value. Unfortunately phone had some underlying conditions with low sound and damaged housing?
Knocked the price down but was still happy with the price as did some comparisons of age of phone and work to fix iPhone.
Price were accurate and speed of selling very good.

The service i received was top notch from start to finish. The entire process was smooth professional and handled exceptionally well.

What every you're initially quoted, remove about £100 from it.

I was initially quoted £507 for a trade in, first "requote" came back at £395 due to "scuffs on the bottom of the casing and poor battery health" even though the phone had been in a case throughout it's life and I checked the battery health before sending and was at 99%.

Rejected this quote and e-mailed asking for photos showing these defects.

Received a 2nd "requote" at £410. Same scenario, rejected and e-mailed asking for photos.

Once again, ignored and received an email saying "this is our final offer" (same as last offer) and if I was to reject this one, to send them £5 to return the phone (which I think is reasonable to be honest).

What I do not deem as reasonable is the poor communication and shower ignorance when asking for proof of said defects that have reduced the value of the device.

I have looked after this phone very well and believe I assessed it correctly having worked with mobile phones myself for 20 years.

So please be wary of quoting as they will reduce it with seemingly fabricated defects and provide no proof upon request to force you into either accepting their revised quote or asking for the phone back.

I advise against utilizing their services. There was a significant lack of communication throughout the process. I submitted two phones that were in excellent condition. The compensation I received was less than the amount initially offered. I was asked for information, specifically a 6-digit number, that was never provided to me. Although I sent two phones, only one was listed on the invoice for payment. Upon inquiring via email about the second phone, they claimed to have paid for both, despite the invoice only reflecting one device.

Really happy with my experience with TYP. I received a very competitive quote for my devices, and they sent me a prepaid package so I could send everything to them without any hassle.

The communication throughout the whole process was excellent. I received an email confirming when they had received my devices, followed by regular updates as they went through the testing and checks.

Once the checks were completed, they honoured the **original quoted price with no reductions**, which was great to see. The payment was then in my bank account the very next day.

A smooth, straightforward and professional service from start to finish. I can definitely recommend TYP to anyone looking to sell or recycle their old devices, and I’ll happily use them again in the future.

Terrible experience. Been waiting for my £160 which May. Emails do get replied to but I keep being told my payment will not be long. They have my iPhone 15 and my money. Shocking

Not overly impressed with TradeYourPhone. Assessed at £78 initially but once received in the office it apparently had several scratches on the screen despite me putting the screen protection on 5 minutes after it arrived. So these phantom scratches cost me £23 as the revised valuation was £55. Still, that’s £55 more than I got for all my old phones still sat in the drawer.

I have sold a few phones and the service has been on point start to finish. Highly recommended.
