Poor would never used them again told me there was housing defects and reduced my iphone 16 pro price by £67 for housing defects which there was not it spent its whole life in a protection case and with screen protector on it . Didnt reply to my email after I challenged them on it. Looks like they are just trying to rip people off and increase their profit margins by ripping off the customer as they know they have you over a barrel with the return fee

Most terrible company ever. PLEASE PEOPLE DONT USE THESE PEOPLE. They are liars, anyway that they offer me 160£ less then the promised price and even doesn’t answer 2 days. I called them all the time and then only promised it will be done it will be done and nothing happened. On the4th day I received my payment after a lot of nervous, and even with 160£ less. PLEASE DONT USE THEM. Try compare and recycle and there check which company has 5 full stars.

They claim to pay out in 24hrs, take a lot longer. Even when they confirm your payment, they say it will take a minimum of 3 working days!

They quoted me £570 for a good condition iPhone 16 pro. I thought they'd knock me down a little but they were still showing ad the highest offer.

I proceeded, phone was in grata condition. Always been in a case. Had a few marks on the screen but standard for two year old phone.

So first issue, i had to send ID, so did that. Next day i has to send proof i owned the device… why not ask for both at the same time? 🤦‍♂️

Then after I chased, I got an offer £160 less than they quoted! Even Vodafone offered me more, no questions asked but I went with this company as they were offering over £100 more.

Would advise anyone not to bother… they are not fast and will offer you far under what they originally offered.

Other phone trade-in businesses will pay more and are a lot quicker!

Don’t waste your time, they have no intention of paying the initial quote they give.

They quoted me £572 for my iPhone 16 pro which is in near perfect condition with 100% battery health. Upon receiving my phone, they tried to reduce the quote to £500 and their reasoning was due to ‘scuffs on the bottom of the housing’.

I took detailed pictures of the device before sending it, which clearly show there is no ‘scuffing’ on the device. I asked TYP to send me photo evidence of what they were claiming justified a £72 reduction, to which they provided pictures of 1 tiny pinprick mark which they were clearly trying to exaggerate to rip me off.

The item still falls well within their ‘good’ condition criteria, yet they seem to expect it to be fresh out of the box. I have challenged their revaluation, to which I am now not receiving a response.

Can't help but feel I've been scammed here. Initially offered a decent price for iphone 16 pro postage package received promptly but then price offered reduced after 4 days.Took 4 days for 'technicians' to find problem in phone, took pictures of phone was in good condition and booked in same price. Reduced sum received but can't help feeling aggrieved

Similar experience to other reviewers, the price I was originally offered was significantly reduced upon inspection, supposedly due to scratches on the sceeen but if they were there, they weren’t visible to the naked eye.
Their final offer after I rejected the first revaluation was higher than Mazuma, so I accepted it because I didn’t want the hassle of selling privately and being bombarded with messages and offers. I suspect the higher prices are quoted to entice customers and rarely, if ever, paid.
Turnaround time for them taking delivery of the phone to me receiving payment was just under a week.

Sent it off to them on the pretense they were " quick and had the best payout " it took two days before they said it was recieved, another day or two before i got email asking for my id and proof of purchase , no replies to emails prior and no reply to email i sent with id . Again no replies , no live chat option , my phones just stuck there with no idea when i can expect a price or even payout .

Honestly dont take the offer as gospel and just go elsewhere if you dont wanna wait stressing out.

I got a email few minutes ago with a proce £40 less then original as they "found a fault " apparently paint was scratched by camera ?

I was offered £148 and got £95. The company states that if you're fair with them then you'll get the full amount they offered. How is this possible when they give you basic options. New. Excellent. Good. Poor. Broken. I said 'good' (which was fair) I kept my phone in a case with a screen cover and yet they stated it had scratches! After reading more reviews I decided to except it as someone said they asked for their phone back and not received it. To be fair i received my money quickly. But did have to ask them to resend the envelope to send it to them in as I didn't receive it the first time. Definitely wouldn't use them again.

Chancers. So slow in processing the phone and then lowballed me despite there being nothing wrong with the phone. Avoid!

I sent in my Apple iPad Mini (2021) based on an initial quote of £152. After they received it, they revalued it down to £115, claiming minor issues.123

When I declined their revised offer and asked for my device to be returned, I was suddenly hit with a £10 administration fee to get my own property back—a fee that was not made clear or transparent beforehand. Holding a customer's device hostage with unexpected return fees is poor practice. I would advise others to look elsewhere when recycling their electronics.

Was given a quoted amount of £129 for my iPhone 13 even though I told them it was broken so I was a bit sceptical. Didn’t hear back for 2 weeks and then when I did they told me that my battery was bad and my screen had scratches. Even though id told them it was broken and so I got a revised price of £45.
