I echo what a lot of people say about…
I echo what a lot of people say about the laziness and lies regarding delivery. Also what is the point of the tracker app when it notifies you that your parcel is 3 stops away etc and it sits like that for an hour+ then delivery rescheduled!!!!!
Next day service means 4 days
Next day service means 4 days. Then the driver left my item by my back door instead of in my letter box or by my front door. Mind you Amazon drivers usually open my front door and let themselves into my house unless I lock them out. Shambolic service.
Bad drivers = you’ll get banned
Drivers wouldn’t follow delivery instructions and left my packages on the door step. Obviously, they got stolen as I wasn’t at home to collect them and can’t take time off work when Amazon already was given several safe spots as alternatives. They then proceeded to ban me for making refund/replacement (I would ask for a replacement and they’d say no and force me to take a refund) requests for the stolen items.
AMAZON IS LET DOWN BY MANY OF IT'S DELIVERY DRIVERS
Many of the delivery drivers just dump packages anywhere, even in areas where it's obvious the item is at risk of being stolen.
Many of the drivers then put lies on the Amazon App by claiming, for example, "package handed to resident".
In my experience complaints to Amazon about this make no difference.
Paid delivery 4 days late then dumped…
Paid delivery 4 days late then dumped on street at random address with no information. one star is too good for em avoid like the plague 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Ordered a microwave on the 28th of…
Ordered a microwave on the 28th of December because it was going to arrive on the 30th of December guess what 30 or December it didn't arrive and the guy says now it will probably be in the new year on the 3rd January, guess what it didn't and it says there's an error with the delivery. So I decided to go elsewhere and buy one yet I am still waiting for the Amazon delivery which by the way I will never buy a big item from them again due to the fact that every time I seem to order anything big and electrical it never seems to arrive so why is that zip because it's getting stolen on route? And the worst bit about it is faffing around waiting so you can cancel the thing due to their incompetence, also their tracking is abysmill and they have Aws
Amazon taking customers for granted?
I ordered a refrigerator on Amazon UK during the Black Friday sale, with a clearly stated delivery date of 1 December 2025, between 7am and 7pm. I took the day off work and waited the entire day, but no delivery ever arrived.
When I contacted Amazon to report the issue, I was shocked to be told that they have no complaints procedure and that I would simply have to wait until the delivery company contacted me. I then asked to speak to a manager, only to be told the exact same thing — there is no complaints policy and no way to escalate my concern.
For a company as large as Amazon, this is completely unacceptable. Customers should have a clear way to raise issues, especially when a failed delivery causes inconvenience and lost income.
To make matters worse, the agent admitted there was nothing they could do to help. No update, no solution, no accountability.
Very disappointing experience, and not what I expect from a major retailer.
Amazon Delivery UK - absolutely diabolical
Amazon Shipping UK absolute useless. I received an e-mail on Thursday saying my delivery would be Friday. I remained at my work address (delivery address) until 2330hrs on Friday. No delivery arrived! I received zero communication from Amazon to let me know what’s happening. I logged onto the tracking page, and it says it left the carrier facility Milton Keynes at 04:38 Friday. Nothing further is recorded, and I have no idea where my parcel is, or when it will be delivered. It is currently 1430hrs on Saturday and I still have no idea!
I am absolutely fuming due to the lack of communication. Customer service is totally disregarded……Amazon delivery is no better than Royal Mail, which is diabolical at best!
I wish the retailer used DX to deliver my item, have never had any issues with DX.
I am going to urge my retailer not to use Amazon delivery again!
Tracker useless
So given a time slot at lunchtime. Drive 50 miles from daughter. Get home to find time shifted by over 2 hours. Then 8 stops away I watch for an hour as countless stops are made until tracker says making extra stops in area. We'll I can see this but all parcels in van so what a load of rubbish
Useless
Amazon doesn't care ! Put too much pressure on how quick they have to deliver parcels . Constantly on phone to complain about Bathgate drivers . Inability to read basic instructions on account delivery request . Ongoing for over 2 years , nobody owns a complaint and follows up on it . Why am I speaking to someone from the Philippines when I'm in Scotland?? Sort it out Amazon
It pains me to give one star
It pains me to give one star, I get Amazon deliveries most day I also have subscribe and save every month, I return goods rarely with no problem, however I had to return a faulty electric blanket, so I booked a collection Royal Mail, no label needed, when they came to collect, no label, I tried a couple of times with same result , so I thought I would just pay to return but no return address, so now I’m stuck, faulty blanket and no way to return, no customer service, shame on you Amazon
Terrible experience with the delivery…
Terrible experience with the delivery today. Not first time at all my parcels to be delivered to a wrong address or to be left outside in the rain, despite the fact I've put instructions for a specific place. Wake up people, your drivers are ruining your reputation every day.
Amazon increases prices of goods in basket at checkout
I have long been a shopper with Amazon but will find other suppliers now they have started dirty increased pricing tricks. Today I put 4 items in my Basket and when I went to Checkout each increased in price considerably. This was independent of shipping. I emptied my basket and retried 4 times, each time the same thing happened. Amazon customer service just told me to clear cookies, cache etc use another browser, so I wasted my time to no avail. I see from forums other users are complaining about Amazon's underhand use of dynamic pricing so customers are charged higher prices at checkout than the price in their baskets. You have lost my custom Amazon until you stop this practice.
Strange experience with an Amazon…
Strange experience with an Amazon delivery driver. Asked him to leave the parcel outside my front door as I wasn't going to open it and he refused. I was at the window but i didn't want to open it in case he forced it open. Luckily he didn't, quietly handed me the parcel and stated its a rule of Amazon or something, he didn't really what was the rule, either you can't leave at the door unattended. Quite weird and I'm not happy at being told leaving a parcel outside my front door, where I will come and collect it, Isn't ok. I just didn't want to open the door with the driver standing out it, for my own safety! I'm ok with my regular Royal Mail delivery driver!
Amazon Market Place Warning
I would like to warn customers of the problems when buying expensive items from Marketplace sellers - I purchased 2 wheelchairs that were not as described, and I tried to return them, but the seller refused to have them picked up in the end. Amazon started an A-Z return after many emails and multiple phone calls. Amazon Customer Support asked me to pay for the return, which, including insurance, was 176.25. They told me Amazon would issue a refund for the postage, and in fact, I have an email saying the refund had been done, but it never arrived. I then complained, and the same thing happened, and on the third occasion, I was again told a refund had been processed, but it never arrived, so I called Customer support, who now told me I had to get the refund from the seller - I find this totally unacceptable and appalling customer service. I have, in fact, been lied to on three occasions. The problem is having to speak to multiple service agents, some if not most, do not have English as a first language and can be difficult to understand (I am 80 and moderately deaf). On each call, I had to go over the same details time & time again. Another problem is it is impossible to speak to the A-Z team directly; they send an email that you can't respond to, so you are forced to go through the normal customer service. I have emailed Amazon to say I will now have to go through the small claims courts to get my money as they have broken the contract they had with me - what shame. I have been a good customer since the late 90's, but that loyalty doesn't seem to mean much these days
When a delivery driver lies about your order...
Placed an order for delivery on Saturday 25th. Tracking says delivered and handed to resident....complete lie, as my video doorbell shows the courier drop the package (which has gone missing) on my doorstep, ring the bell and walk away without waiting. Video also shows him doing the same to a neighbour, and actually RUNNING from her doorstep. Both these deliveries took place after sunset and it was dark outside. Had to request refund, which is being provided, but very poor service from this driver, who has now done this a few times. Fortunately on other occasions I have been in and seen him outside my gate by the time I get from my Livingroom to the front door.
Disgraceful service
If it were possible to give minus I would.
Amazon UK you need to do better quality control of your delivery team. I live in a block of flats and despite answering the intercom and letting your driver in, he left the package in a "secure location". This 'secure location' was outside the main entrance to the block of flats in the pouring rain. Two of the goods in the packaging were books !! Luckily I was in and retrieved them straight away.
If you must employ lazy, irresponsible delivery drivers at least ensure they are honest.
Your feedback system is also abysmal and gives no opportunity for user comments.
What a load of tripe the coop food delivery is!
Que the Mission impossible music ... Got to love the coop service. Usually really great. However today after being messaged several times telling me it was on its way and would be a bit late. It was then cancelled at the time it was due to arri⁸ve. No real reason just basically sorry we cancelled.
Oh! but we took your money so it'll be 3-5 days before you get that back!
... And guess what no one to talk at Amazon no links to chat easily found or a complaints procesure because we live in an era now, where custoner service seemingly has no existance any more!
No reason why the shop couldn't have called us to let us know there was a problem.
Getting worse and worse
Yes some Amazon deliveries are fine, but they are the exception. Most deliveries follow a pattern of initial delivery slot advice being pure fantasy, and of course the slot slips back multiple times, and increasingly happens late at night.
The most recent instance had the tracker showing driver in my area, then I was next drop, then the driver had "several more deliveries" (eh?) then MINUTES before the end of the delayed slot, I receive a message telling me delivery failed because the driver could not access my front door.
1 - there was no obstacle preventing access to my front door
2 - neighbours etc were coming and going from the road during the evening, with no issue
3 - nobody tried to contact me
Then to further demonstrate Amazon CS skills, I receive an email telling me to check my address and contact details, which are all correct, somewhat implying the fault was mine.
Just when you think they can't get worse, they do.
Unprofessional.
Arrogance of Amazon
I ordered a NEW hp printer on Amazon.uk
I paid for a NEW hp printer on Amazon.uk
What got delivered to me today wasn't just second hand, it was third hand. Inside the box when I opened it were TWO Amazon return slips.
I don't want the product that has already been sent out and returned by two customers previously.
Amazon are now telling me that I need to allow 10 HOURS of my day on a specific date for a courier to collect the parcel so I can get a refund.
So let's just be clear here, Amazon are ENTIRELY 100% at fault, and yet they now expect me to wait in for a 10 hour collection window so I can get a refund.
And I've been offered £10 as compensation for my time.
