Worst Experience Ever!
This is the worst service I have ever received!
Their tracker indicated that they had delivered my package and provided two pictures of someone else's front door of "proof of delivery".
After emailing and calling them to explain that I could see my parcel on the front step of my next door neighbour, they said they would go and retrieve it and bring it to my home. When I called again in a couple of days, they claimed they went there twice to retrieve it and no one was home. I know that this was not accurate as they left it on the neighbour's front step and this was a door that they never use. If they returned to the house, as they claimed, they would have seen the package still on the front step as I could see it from the road as I drove by.
They lied again when they told the sellers that my package had already been delivered. I called every day for seven days and nothing happened.
When my neighbour brought it to my house 11 days after it being left on their step, a GLS representative called me. I thought he was calling to apologize but he said they put great effort in delivering my package and took no ownership for their mistakes. He only said, "I am sorry you feel that we did nothing".
Falsified delivery scans and zero accountability
If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with GLS Canada today was nothing short of dishonest.
I was expecting a high-value package and explicitly stayed home all day to receive it. At the end of the day, my tracking suddenly updated to claim a delivery attempt was made and a 'notice card was left.' This is entirely fabricated. I was home, there was no knock, no doorbell, and no physical card was ever left at my door. The driver simply falsified the system scan from their truck to avoid making the stop.
Because of this blatant lie, my shipment is now delayed right before a 4-day long holiday weekend. When you go to their website to try and manage the delivery or arrange a terminal pickup, the system is completely locked down—there are no digital options to redirect a package, only a useless 'Print' button on the tracking page.
A courier company is only as good as the honesty of its drivers and the functionality of its tracking system. GLS Canada fails miserably on both fronts. I have opened a dispute with the merchant and filed a formal complaint. Do not trust them with anything valuable.
Thieves
Thieves. Ordered two packages. The cheaper one was delivered and this was caught on my doorbell camera. They fraudulently signed saying it was me and never delivered the bigger package and claimed they did. They signed for both, however the second package has still never made it's way to my door. 13 days later the driver appears at my door to tell me that he dropped off both. I told him that's a lie and show him a video of him with only one package. He was silenced and left; claiming it was a mistake. Still don't have my package and I may take this even further because they are clearly theives. Frustrating experience.

Delivery was attempted at 11:51 pm per their own sheet. Confirmed by cameras no tracking number no nothing and the lady argues on the phone that that wasn't the time. Worst customer service

If I could select zero stars I would. We ordered something online 3 weeks ago. The product made 2 “wrong turns” according to the tracking and now nobody has an answer on where the package is. They keep saying they will call back but they never do. This past week they have been trying to figure out how to get it from their terminal in Regina to our town in Flin Flon, MB. If you are not capable of delivering to northern communities don’t accept the package we have several other options for carriers here. This is the first and last time we will ever deal with GLS.

The worst service ever
The worst service ever. It was supposed to be delivered on Thursday, and I waited all day and nothing arrived. The next day, I stayed home, and I assumed they would have come and left a note on my door or somewhere, but there was nothing. I called to file a complaint, and they were supposed to call me back. They never did, and they're closed on weekends. It's unacceptable to do business with such a terrible company that can't deliver and provide good customer service.

Absolutely the worst and I do not recommend anyone ship anything with them! My package was picked up the 13th and didn't even leave their facility ( in Alberta) until the 15th. It's now the 26th ( of january) and I STILL don't even have my package. SIX times , including today they used weather as why it's been delayed, yet the roads are not that bad and every other delivery service is out today. This company is God awful and I fully expect they will no longer be a company within the next year or two.

Simply incompetent. Spoke to a real person at customer service about leaving package at my door, they said they would so long as I replied to their email seeking authorization to do so. I did, and they confirmed. Next thing I know is they sent it back to the sender, which is out of the country. This, after it had already cleared customs. The sender reached out to me yesterday and said they would refund me, which is good of them. They also said that they are stopping using GLS as a courier for reasons like this… can’t say I blame them.
Extremely poor experience with GLS
Extremely poor experience with GLS. A package was marked as delivered with “signature required,” yet my building’s concierge, security, and management all confirmed they did not receive or sign for any delivery. Security camera footage shows that no GLS delivery occurred at the stated time.
There was no photo proof of delivery, no advance notice that a signature would be required, and no delivery confirmation email. Despite this, GLS continues to rely on an internal signature record that cannot be verified by the recipient or the building.
This situation caused significant inconvenience and stress, especially as the package was intended as a meaningful gift. The lack of transparency, accountability, and effective resolution is unacceptable.
I would strongly caution others against using GLS based on this experience.

I have been waiting for my package…
I have been waiting for my package since the first week of December. I’ve tried multiple times to contact GLS, but no one seems interested in responding or helping. It has now been over a month, and I am still waiting for my package with no updates, no support, and no accountability.
I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. This is extremely disappointing, especially since the items are worth over $200. GLS keeps directing customers to contact assistance**@gls-canada.com, but don’t waste your time — no one ever gets back to you.
