I feel misled by Tower.

I signed up to their newsletter and opened an account because an offer stated that return postage would be refunded. I met those conditions, yet the refund didn’t happen and I was still charged for the return.

When I contacted customer service, I was told that I hadn’t met the conditions for the refund. However, I had signed up to the newsletter and opened an account as required. I didn't feel they weren’t receptive to resolving this and I was left with the fee. I would not have purchased without this offer.

My previous review of this experience was taken down after the company disputed it through Trustpilot’s moderation process, so I persisting and reposting my account of what happened because its important to me to share my experience so others can decide for themselves whether this feels fair.

I bought shoes, they didn't fit so I sent them back for a refund. Their refund policy says you need to be signed up for email marketing for free returns. I did sign up for email marketing as I knew there'd be a chance of a return. They are claiming that I was not signed up for email marketing and are refusing to refund the £4 refund delivery fee. Really disappointing.

Absolutely brilliant service the boots i received were really good and delivered in a very good time all I can say i will definitely recommend and use Tower again 😀

A lack of transparency re: their returns policy has convinced me that it's better to pay a bit more and shop elsewhere. I personally find it odd that they have adopted a 'returns are free to some but not all' stance, which I find off-putting on its own. But at a mimimum, I would expect clear, unambiguous wording on their website. The lack of clarity feels both underhanded and deliberate to me, and as such does nothing to promote trust. So in the future I will stick to those retailers that treat all their customers with consistency, and who are clear and upfront regarding their returns policies.

The product was delivered on time , package was intact and I was happy with the ordering process, however I ordered the wrong size and had to return it. The return process is long winded. Returns cannot be done in store and have to be sent back by post. You then have to wait for 14 days for that refund. Way too long especially when you are waiting for the refund to place a replacement order.
