Got The City Sightseeing Amsterdam Hop-On Hop-Off Bus + Boat, - my fam had amazing opportunity to discover the charm and beauty of Amsterdam!

We booked a canal cruise via this website. Booking went smoothly and the canal tour was great.

If you're looking to buy tickets, I'd recommend T&T website. It's super easy to use and you don't have to worry about language barriers (because not all local websites have English language).
Oh, you should check out the Amsterdam Canal cruise and Ripley's Museum. They're definitely worth seeing!

Perfect spot to book all activities in once

Bought tickets at cruise terminal for canal trip in Amsterdam. It said it was an open ticket therefore thought I could use it on the day at anytime. Cut a long story short ended up in three different queues by the canal to be told there were no more available spaces on that day. Asked for refund from canal boat owner, was told to claim back from tours and trips. I have received several E mails saying money will be returned. Had to send loads of information about credit card etc. Still no refund. Not very happy.

e booked the Keukenhof Gardens Tour to the value of e52.5 on the 26th April and were told we could go for e35 but the higher cost would be a guided tour. As pensioners we understood this to be on the way and in the gardens. We got to the departure point in Central Station at 11.30 as stated on the tickets because the tour departed at 12 noon. We just got there to see the guide on her way out of the station, she walked that fast we could not catch her to see if this was the tour we were booked on. When we got to the coach she looked at our tickets and said "oh you are on the guided tour".. She took our tickets and came back with two tickets for entry into the gardens. Once we have left Amsterdam she introduced herself as Cecilia. She gave us all the rules of the bus and we were given headphones and she tried to sell us water at e2.00 a bottle. It was not until we got near Keukenhof and saw the tulips fields that she spoke again and wanted us all to shout "oh la la". Before we got off the bus she told us the bus number and it would be in the car park. She took us all to the gates, we got inside and I expected her to come in for the guided tour but she just disappeared (apparently to pick up another trip). The gardens were stunning but we spent over 3 hours there.

As we went to go back to the bus we thought she would be at the gates waiting for the group but nowhere to be seen! We decided to make our way to the coach. It was a nightmare, there were so many there and we started to panic although we had plenty of time. My husband was out of breath as he is disabled with a heart condition so it proved very difficult for him and he started to panic with the amount of coaches and crowds (I thought that was why you had a "tour guide" but obviously this company don't see it that way.

It was only because in the end we spotted her in the distance near the coach that we found it. I told her we have found it very difficult to find and complained about the ticket. Told her I thought we were on the wrong tour as we had no guide. She was so rude and suggested we email the company and said it was something to do with the internet. I said it was not satisfactory that we had paid e52.50 and we just as well have paid the e35 euro as we were just left there. She was so rude she just walked away. The coach left a minute before time and left two people behind and she just said " we have to go they will have to bike or walk". Another two people waved the coach down as we were leaving and said they could not find the coach which I can understand and all she was "well you would have had to find your own way back to Amsterdam"

She kept on shouting "ho la la" on the way out which was actually very irritating and then asked for tips for the driver and herself. She had the cheek to stand with a clog outside the bus held out for tips. What a disgrace!

I went into the booking office and they too said I need to email them. I did that on the very same day of the trip but still 2 weeks later they do not have the decency to reply (apart from a reply email to say that have received your email and will reply in two working days). Believe me they do not even intend to reply.

This company are money grabbing and have no respect for anyone. They do not reply to you unless it is in their favour and they are getting praise. They have no duty of care to people, not even to the disabled and elderly and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I would NEVER use them again and I will spread the word. Try another company if you can.

Wow. Just wow. Do not recommend using this company at all. Booked a tour to Keukenhof Gardens AFTER asking the ticket information person THREE times if the tulips were still in season (May 14) because I had heard that the tulips are only in season for April and the beginning of May. He said yes they are and that the garden was only open for one more day so if we wanted to see tulips we should book it. Went on the tour only to waste 5 1/2 hours. The flowers were all wilted except for some in the flower house, which by the way were mostly other flowers and not tulips. They charged 35 euros per person and lied about the tulips still being alive.
It’s fraud and they wasted the one day we had left in Amsterdam.

I booked a ticket for a country&windmills tour leaving Amsterdam Centraal at 8:45am on Monday, April 24. The first stop was at Volendam Cheese Factory, where tourists were told to move around individually and be back at the bus at a given time. When I got back to the meeting point - well in advance of the scheduled time - the bus had gone. I was first told to wait for 15 minutes, the bus would certainly come. Well, it did not and I had to take public transport to Amsterdam Centraal, where I went to the tour operator's office to complain and report that my backpack (without valuables, but with all my clothes, house keys etc.) was still on board the tour bus. I was then informed the busses would not be back before 7pm (the exact time my night train to Vienna was due to leave and although my tour was supposed to end around 3pm), and advised to write an e-mail with my postal address in Austria, so they could send on my belongings. I did write an e-mail with detailed information on Tuesday, April 25 and another one on Friday, April 28, but I never got any kind of answer. Then I tried phoning 3 days in a row, at different times of the day, but all I ever got was an automated response in Dutch. I do realise the backpack might have disappeared / been taken by someone, but they could at least have communicated that. Not reacting at all is certainly not customer-friendly, to put it politely.

I’ve been on many tours and this is by far the messiest.
First, walking us to the bus, the tour guide was walking so quickly and never looked back to check if people are following. There was a traffic light that held us back and we got lost between the tens of buses and hundreds of people.
The headsets in the bus were not working.
You can’t snack in the bus so be ready.
When we reached our first stop (Zaanse Schans) which is the main attraction we were given so little time we saw the windmill from inside and barley took a few pictures and we had to run back to the bus. And again the tour guide never looked back.
On the other hand we waisted alot of time in volendam which was unnecessary.

Day trip to Bruges which is beautiful. One concern was a possible connection between the tour guide and businesses in Bruges. The walking trip was 1 hour and ended at a restaurant where the guide stated he would be if we needed assist and he recommended the mussels at this restaurant. As the tour ended in time for a late lunch we took a table. The meal ended with the restaurant owner verbally assaulting me because I questioned the bill and realized the menu had the same meal listed on 2 different pages for 2 very different prices. The tour guide apologized for this horrible experience and stated he would never recommend such a service to his clients. On checking restaurant reviews his name appears several times so not true. As he had provided several recommendations and discredited other businesses my partner and I had to question his reliability. The whole thing cast a pall over a beautiful day.
The walking trip itself is NOT for seniors with walking disabilities. Or anyone not able to walk briskly.
The Guide’s tour itself was entertaining and the first time a guide has been so clear in how to find our way back to the bus at the end of the day

Keukenhof , windmills and countryside tour was an excellent experience with this tour company .
We got a bus from central station at 8:45am led by our guide Tony and bus driver Augustus and had a wonderful day exploring the many wonders of the Holland countryside . I would highly recommend this
Very enjoyable day out ,with an array of displays of flower fields, gardens, windmills, cheese and clog making .
Definitely something for everyone even children would enjoy .

We took a tour to Keukenhof with them in April 2023. The transfer vehicle picked us up at 3pm and dropped us at Keukenhof around 4pm. We were asked to come back to stop 11 and get onboard bus 187. We were there at 6.55pm only to be told there is no space on the bus. We were not given any ETA for the alternate transfer to drop us back to Amsterdam Central station. We have a child with autism and standing there stranded waiting for a bus until who knows when the bus would arrive was very stressful.

The attendant were very nice and let us recharge our cell phone

Very bad experience with this operator!
After buying 4 tickets for two different tours for two different days ,the following day I tried to contact them because I had serious health problems and wanted to know if it was possibile to do something about my reservations having tried to tell them in advance about it.The operators in the office never answered personally but there was a recorded voice that was only in Dutch...not even in English as an option,I tried with a mail but got a answer saying they would deal with the matter in 2 days time in the meanwhile I contacted the chat and after telling the operator I had left the country due to health problems she told me to go to the office where I had bought the tickets to reschedule my tours! or to read on the back of the tickets NO REFUND!!!she either didn't understand English or hadn't read properly! Personally I would have expected more professionality and comprehension where health problems are concerned.Look out... the operators do not tell you when booking that no refunds are given in case of emergency!!Not fair other countries would have certainly given a customer a refund. Never again I'm afraid.

Rude and unprofessional staff, awful customer service. Boat is full but they still sell the tickets, then charge you €5 per ticket to rebook it. Avoid if you can

I went on the Amsterdam 1hr canal tour with 3 other people in my party. THE WORST customer services ever. We were squashed onto the boat like sardines. When I asked if the 4 or us could sit together we were told no and we could talk accross the way. However when we left there were multiple empty seats. The boat trip wasn’t even a lovers canal boat it was a hop on hop off boat so we were misled the second we bought the tickets! I would not recommend this tour. If you want a canal tour go to the harbour where the canal boats are and get one from there; cheaper, more relaxing and all round better!

Not enough information that this is not a dinner cruise, it’s a dinner in a cafe then a 1 hour cruise for a light show that we saw 5 light effects.
Have had a better view of these lights on foot.
