I mistakenly bought tickets for the wrong date and had to buy more tickets for the correct day. I reached out to the Tixr team and they quickly replied and refunded one of my orders even though it was totally my fault.

When ordering tickets, I made a mistake and bought them for the wrong day of a festival. I emailed customer support and received a response within an hour. I was able to order tickets for the correct day and was refunded for the tickets that I bought by mistake within 24 hours. That kind of customer service is unheard of in this day and age. Great job!

Just another third party wedging their way in-between people having a good time so they can profit. They make it difficult to cancel, refund or transfer tickets. Wish you could just buy tickets and not have greedy tech bros trying to take all your money

My wife and I bought “Early Signature Pass” tickets for Anime Riverside 2025 with a credit card (let’s call this Card A) through Tixr. When we arrived at the venue, staff told us those tickets weren’t valid for entry (they weren’t General Admission).
We were confused, why does Tixr let you buy these tickets alone online if they don’t work for entry?
The event staff told us to cancel them on the spot and re-purchase GA tickets using a different card (Card B), which we did.
So in total, we were charged twice, once for the Early Bird tickets (Card A), and again for GA tickets (Card B).
In short, we canceled the first order (Card A ending in 5701) and bought valid tickets with Card B. We were told by the staff that we’d be refunded for the first charge within 2 weeks. But weeks passed and no refund.
When we contacted Tixr support, they told us the tickets were canceled without refund, and claimed we "paid the difference", which is absolutely false. We paid full price again on a separate card. So yes, we were double charged.
Their final message from Dee Burdett-Stalding, Tixr's Client Success Manager, literally said:
“There was no refund to be issued. Period.”
No explanation. No apology. No resolution. Just a dismissive attitude like a shrug emoji in email form.
Honestly, I don’t think someone like that should be in a customer-facing role.
We’ve already filed a dispute with our bank to try to get the money back. But I’m sharing this so others are aware. if you ever need help from Tixr, don’t expect accountability or basic customer service.

When I was having an issue with my card I was able to reach out to my event organizer via Instagram where they provided me with their support email. I sent an email to my event organizer and they promptly got back to me including Tixr support, after a few days they got back to me and fixed my issue. Very nice customer service and very helpful all around.
