Trading Standards Now Contacted
Okay, so it's now been 5 months and I've had one box with very low quality items in it. I've had a case open with Virgin Experiences but they're not getting any response from Tingle-Box either. I also noted that they post on Instagram with comments disabled, presumably to silence dissatisfied customers.
I have opened a case with Trading Standards, and would recommend anyone else who is out of pocket to do the same. You can find the Director's details easily enough by searching the Companies House register. I can't post the link on here but the company number is 12909761.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. I wish I had read all the negative reviews before I subscribed (and there’s a lot) ordered a sub in December. Hadn’t received confirmation of my box being sent even tho on my confirmation of sub it said woild be sent out in 2-3 days. I insta messaged 3 times left comments on pics and nothing. On my fourth attempt to email I received a response back to email daisy. So I did. At first she was prompt saying that jan payment was for feb box (which makes absolutely no sense as I will be charged in feb again) but as a good will gesture she would send me out a mysterious box and would receive an email of confirmation. No confirmation of postage of mysterious box and no mysterious box has turned up. I again have emailed daisy 3 times about this and nothing. Absolute disgrace of a company - terrible first impression in my eyes sounds like a scam. Please avoid. I am now going to have to contact my bank to try and cancel this payment - month payments and receiving nothing don’t think so. Go for glossy box or Birchbox , somethings that’s more reputable

They have taken 3 payments and I have only received 1 box. Also sent 6 emails trying to cancel my membership and have had no responses, I am now going to have to rely on my card changing to stop my subscription.

I signed up via a virgin experience voucher and not received anything yet. I've sent emails and no response and I cannot find a phone number for them. Virgin have also tried to contact them and had no luck. £60 gift voucher gone and nothing to show for it, thanks Tingle.

Impossible to cancel subscription
Up until recently I had been happy with tingle-box until I tried to cancel my monthly subscription......
I sent an email at the end of August to advise I wanted my monthly subscription cancelled. 2 weeks later they took money so I emailed them again asking for a refund and to cancel the order and I emailed them a 3rd time a couple of days ago. All I receive are automated responses saying someone will contact me in 24-48 hours.
**UPDATE** It's now 16th Oct and my sub is still live despite me sending further emails and DMs. I've also 2 boxes from them that I never wanted.

I bought a 6month subscription from Virgin Experience Day. I bought it on 4th Aug and it is now 16 Sept. No boxes have come. Tingle are not responding to me or to Virgin Experiences. I wanted to warn people about this company. It was supposed to be fun but I have spent literally hours with Virgin trying to resolve this as Tingle are not responding.

Impossible to contact and broken items
I've been trying to get into contact with Tingle Box for almost a month now. I've sent two emails, reached out over Instagram 3 times, all with no reply.
I accidentally ordered two subscriptions and needed to cancel one- or at least push it further back so I don't receive duplicate boxes, but there seems to be no way to fix this.
Also, this month even though I ordered two boxes accidentally, I only received one so I must assume the other is lost? The one that arrived only had 4 items in it instead of the claimed (5-6.) Additionally, an item, the hairspray, came broken and had sprayed all over the box making the products sticky. I'm really displeased with this experience thus far and I have not been able to find a phone number to call anywhere either.

I signed up for a 3 month subscription and didn't receive my 3rd box. I have tried to contact the company via email, Instagram and I have heard nothing back. Very disappointing, when u have paid for something you expect to receive the goods.

Saw an Influencer unboxing and quite liked the box for the Price.. so I subscribed. This was in December. As of today, I have had 4 payments deducted, and NOT ONE BOX RECEIVED! Emailed more times than I have fingers and toes, and I have only ever had one unsigned reply from their generic email saying "that they will follow up with Hermes and see what has happened with my box". All messages on Instagram have been deleted so 'Press' doesn't see the real BS going on. Save your money, or take out subscriptions with GB, RC, LF or LiB. Just do yourself a favour and save yourself the aggro...AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Worst customer service EVER
If I could give no stars I would. I signed up in January and had 2 payments taken and no boxes. All my emails have been ignored and my messages on Instagram have been DELETED.
All these people saying it's a small business and not to complain would feel differently if they had money taken out of their account and no products. But the absolute worst thing in all this is being completely ignored by customer service. I'm disgusted. Please avoid. I'm now going to have to go through my bank to get my money back and its completely put me off signing up to smaller businesses based on this experience. I know a lot of people have had similar experiences but all the comments are deleted.

Ordered the December mini box and received it no problem, was really cute and I loved it!
I decided to order the January mini box as a little surprise for my friend. I ordered it beginning of January and it is now mid way through February and it hasn’t been received. I emailed and they told me it had been collected by Hermes, said they would track it and find out where it is and get back to me which they never did. I gave them some more time (10 days) and then tried emailing again however my emails are now not going through as the email is not found. I feel I have been scammed which is so disappointing as it was so good the first month I bought it! I was really looking forward to my friend receiving it.
Absolutely shocking customer service. Avoid at all cost!
Absolutely shocking customer service.. been charged for Jan.. now second week in Feb and still no box.. have had to chase and chase.. and now another £12 has come out for Feb box and still no reply to my request to cancel the subscription and refund my money as I've received nothing and am now £24 out of pocket.
A word of warning.. the FB group does not allow comments , probably as most of them would be customers like me asking where my order is and now desperately trying to get my hard earned cash back.
** Update**
3rd payment just left my bank.. sent numerous emails to have not a single reply.. deleted my comments off Instagram, turned off comments on FB so effectively deleted those too. And no goods whatsoever.. having to go through my bank each time to try to claim the money back and looks like I will be doing that again. They won't cancel the subscription.. I think I will be contacting BBC watchdog soon to expose this fraudulent company.
Also you will notice the only good comments are friends of the owner or paid for reviews as you can tell the real ones are the unhappy ripped off customers chasing for their hard earned cash.

I ordered the mini box on 18th December to see what it was like. At that time I was thinking of starting a subscription with them. Today is the 24th January and as of today nothing received. Sent 4 emails asking when can I expect my box plus a message on Instagram. Sadly no reply. Needless to say I won't be subscribing to them. Yes they have taken my money. My advice is avoid....
Received an email from Tingle to say they would look into where my mini box was. I had to reply with confirmation of if I had received anything which I haven't. I replied to them 5 days ago... I live in hope!
13th March... sadly no update and no box. Time to talk to my Bank I feel.

I ordered a 3 months subscription box (I follow a youtuber who presents this box every month).
In December, my box never arrived. I had to send 4 emails +1 message on Instagram to get an answer. They finally paid me back the December box (but not the shipping). For the January box, I have 0 news. I sent them an email saying just pay me back my 2 other boxes and cancel the subscription. No answer. I guess I have to send them again 1, 2, 10 emails!!!!! Pretty annoying. Run away from them!!!!!.
Don’t waste your time.
After having a successful first month, it has been all down hill from there.
After asking for my subscription to be cancelled, I could accept that I would maybe still have do another month. But after being told it was fine and to expect a refund, I now have no box or a refund. This was after having had to chase up a box not arriving.

I joined this as I wished to support a new venture run by women. Sadly, as previous reviews have stated, the commitment to customers seems to be extremely poor. No box arrived until I had chased and chased, it finally arrived not as advertised. Next month no box arrived and no replies to numerous emails requesting cancellation, despite the T & C's stating otherwise. I've now cancelled via my bank. If it's selfcare and a bit of kindness to yourself you're looking for I would personally avoid until they have improved their service thus saving your money and sanity.
