I am a Live Trader

I am currently a live trader in the live program. The program did take a while for me to get my live account but personally it allowed me to really focus on my edge as a trader. The risk management team works with you in real time, for example I can change my DLL within the hour of me and my risk manager agrees on it. The payouts are within minutes and I’ve never had a problem. The majority of complaints I’ve ever seen within the firm since I’ve been a customer for around 6 months are almost always scammers or extremely unprofessional and unprofitable gamblers. Real traders get paid well and treated even better.

Legal complaint

Tickticktrader flags anyone who writes an honest review as to get their review taken down by Trustpilot. Tickticktrader has scammed me out of 10524 usd and tries to make excuses that i somehow broken their rules by hedging. They tried to bribe me by offering me a new account and forfit almost 11k usd. Luck has it that their UAE entity is registered in the same freezone in Dubai as my company. I have filed a legal complaint with the Dubai police cyber Crime Unit. I encourage all individuals who have been scammed by (Tickticktrader fzco) to file a complaint with the Dubai police cyber Crime Unit thru their ecrime portal. You can be assured that the Emirates take great measures to assure that companies registered in the Emirates comply with the law.

Hi Fouad,

We are responding directly to the baseless and defamatory claims made in your review. Your allegations of being "scammed" and subjected to "bribery" are completely false.

Your account was terminated, and your payout was denied due to a clear and documented violation of our rules against hedging. This policy is explicitly stated in our terms and conditions, which you agreed to upon signing up. We have provided you with detailed evidence of this violation in a previous email. Our offer of a new account was a one-time gesture, intended to give you another opportunity to trade, not a "bribe" to cover up a non-existent scam. It is an industry-standard practice to allow traders to reset and try again after a violation.

The legal complaint you claim to have filed is based on a misunderstanding of our service agreement and your own trading activity. We operate with full transparency and integrity, and we are confident that any review of our operations by the proper authorities will confirm that we are in full compliance with the law. We stand by our decision to terminate your account based on the clear violation of our rules.

Hi Pascal,

Thank you for your feedback. We’ve reviewed your case thoroughly, and we’d like to clarify that your account was disqualified due to a breach of our terms and conditions.

While we understand your frustration and that you’ve been waiting since February, the review process exists to ensure fairness, security, and compliance with platform policies. Rushing this process would undermine those standards.

Retroactive Rule Change & Unethical Payout Denial & Ban From Company – Avoid TickTickTrader

I had high hopes when I purchased an account with TickTickTrader (TTT), but my experience turned into a 1-star disaster. The trouble started when they changed their withdrawal policy after I signed up under the old policy, and then applied it retroactively to my account. I only discovered this major change once I reached the original payout threshold on my account. This retroactive rule change completely blindsided me and undermined my trust in the company.

When I raised concerns about this sudden, unfair policy change, their support initially seemed helpful. They offered to refund one of my two active accounts as a goodwill gesture, and allowed me to continue trading on my other account. I appreciated this gesture at the time and accepted the refund for one account. No one ever warned me that by accepting this refund I would be effectively banned from using TTT in the future and disqualified from payouts on any account.

Fast forward a few weeks. I continued trading on my remaining account and later even purchased a new account, managing to trade it successfully up to the payout threshold again. However, when I requested a payout this time, I was told that because I had taken that prior refund, I was now 'banned' and ineligible for any payout. I was shocked, TTT had willingly allowed me to keep trading (and even sold me 2 other accounts) only to retroactively invoke a hidden ban when it came time to actually pay out my profits. It’s worth noting that I was eventually refunded for the accounts I purchased after the alleged 'ban', but only after I reached the payout threshold and escalated the issue extensively. Had I not succeeded for the payout and pushed for answers after, I doubt the refund would have been offered at all.

In hindsight, it felt like a no-risk gamble for TTT: if I failed to reach the payout threshold, they’d keep the money I spent on the account; if I succeeded, they’d deny the payout but issue a refund only after being confronted, meaning they risked nothing. This felt like a blatant bait and switch, and it is utterly unethical to let someone spend time and money trading, only to rob them of their earned payout on a technicality the company never disclosed.

The justification TTT gave for denying my payout was also inconsistent with their own written policies. Their official refund policy clearly states that only initiating a chargeback will result in a permanent ban, which did not apply in my case, as I simply accepted a refund they offered me. Nowhere do they mention that accepting a 'goodwill' refund (as opposed to a chargeback) would blacklist a user from future payouts or accounts. This kind of contradictory, retroactive enforcement of an unwritten rule is extremely concerning and points to a company that makes up rules on the fly to avoid paying traders.

To make matters worse, during the payout dispute the support team even referenced the honest Trustpilot review I had written about my earlier experience. It’s disturbing that my review was brought into a support conversation, it makes me wonder if negative reviewers get targeted or silenced by TTT. I have to question how many other traders might be staying silent about similar issues out of fear that the company will retaliate or deny them payouts as well. This kind of pressure to keep quiet could explain why we don’t see more negative reviews about TTT, but I refuse to be intimidated. I’m sharing my story here as a warning to others.

Bottom line: My experience has convinced me that TTT is not a prop firm you can trust. Retroactively changing rules on account and then finding excuses to deny payouts is beyond unacceptable and unprofessional. There are plenty of other prop firms out there with honest rules and practices, those are much safer options to choose from. I regret giving TTT my business, and I strongly advise others to avoid this company to spare yourselves the loss that I went through.

Update: They deleted this message from their discord and banned me an hour later

Reaction to TTT's reply:

I only learned about the retroactive rule when I hit the old withdrawal target, because I couldn't request a payout, not when my account neared drawdown. The claim you make is false. I have the correspondence to prove it.

I don't get what 'conduct' you are trying to outline here, your own emails call the refund a goodwill option, not a way to dodge a loss. I again have the correspondence to prove it.

You ARE silencing the honest reviews by banning and deleting messages in discord. I know a lot of traders with the same type of experencies with TTT that don't dare to share it yet.

My warning still stands: There are plenty of more trustworthy firms out there that don't move the goalposts while trading their accounts and ban you after reaching a payout that you've worked for.

Hi Dennis,

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. While we appreciate your detailed feedback, we believe it’s important to provide a clear account of events to ensure an accurate understanding.

Initial account and payouts:

You purchased your first account under our original conditions and successfully received two payouts. When we later introduced updated safety thresholds communicated to all users to maintain platform integrity, you did not raise any objections at that time.

Concerns raised only when nearing drawdown:

It was only once your account approached its drawdown limit that you raised concerns about the updated rules. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered and processed a refund, despite your account already benefiting from two payouts. In line with our policies, this refund closed the relationship on that account.

Subsequent activity:

Approximately two months later, you returned, purchased new accounts under the same updated rules you had previously disputed, and requested another payout. This conduct, receiving multiple payouts, avoiding a loss through a refund, then seeking to repeat the process, is inconsistent with fair use of our platform and goes against our policies designed to protect program integrity for all traders.

Following a thorough review by our risk management team, your subsequent payout request was declined. This decision upholds our terms and ensures that all traders participate under fair and consistent conditions without exploiting exceptions meant for genuine cases.

Throughout this process, our team kept you updated, addressed your concerns, and ensured your case received personal attention. Referencing your prior review during support conversations was simply to better understand your perspective and had no bearing on refund or payout decisions. We assure you that all reviews, whether positive or critical, do not influence such determinations.

While we understand you disagree with this outcome, we hope this explanation clarifies why the decision was necessary to maintain fairness and uphold the integrity of our platform for all traders.

If there’s anything further we can assist with, we remain available.

If you want a company that looks for an excuse not to pay you then choose ticktick

After 6 months of hard work trading with this company with a direct account, they invented that I was pretending to be someone else to not pay me my withdrawal of only $700, they looked for an excuse that I was pretending to be someone else to not only deny me the payment but also ban me from the company, an absolute disappointment of funding company and apart from that they stole my $350 that I spent on the account because they didn't want to give me the money back either, an absolute disappointment of the company and apart from not paying they stole my money!

----------Updated 7.03.25--------------------------------------------------------

Hi Sonia,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your frustration, and while we understand that this situation has been upsetting, we want to take a moment to clarify the details behind our decision.

After a thorough investigation by our Risk Management Team, we found significant evidence indicating that your account activity involved identity spoofing—specifically, trading on behalf of another individual. This is a serious breach of our Terms of Service, as well as standard compliance protocols observed by all reputable proprietary trading firms.

We would like to emphasize that we made every effort to engage you with transparency and respect. During our review process:
-You were presented with technical trading questions, which raised red flags due to inconsistent responses.
-IP logs confirmed access to your account from multiple devices and users on the same day.
-You previously mentioned that your sons were also trading on our platform under related accounts, further confirming linked activity.

During a scheduled video call, our team observed clear signs of third-party coaching during the conversation, further supporting our internal findings.

Given the evidence—including account access logs, the recorded meeting, and behavioral inconsistencies—we made the decision to deny your payout and permanently deactivate the involved accounts. This was not taken lightly, but as a prop firm operating under strict risk, KYC, and anti-fraud policies, we are obligated to uphold the integrity of our platform and trading rules.

We understand that this outcome may be disappointing. However, the actions taken were based on documented violations, not arbitrary judgment. We also want to clarify that no funds were “stolen”—the amount you refer to was used for evaluation and access fees, which are non-refundable and clearly stated in our terms.

Our intention is not to silence your concerns, but to ensure all traders are treated fairly and held to the same standards. We thank you for your understanding and hope this clarifies the matter.

Poor communication for live accounts

Edit: As of 9.12.25, I finally received my live account with the appropriate balance. It took around 3 months to get my live account from the date my account was frozen.

While I changed my star review from 1 to 3, the 3 should reflect the lack of communication and processes TTT has for their live onboarding. No other firm has these kind of delays.

Hi WE,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

We understand your concerns regarding recent rule changes, the payout process, and live account transitions, as well as your observations within the community. We take these matters seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond.

At this time, we were unable to locate an account under the name “WE” in our system. To investigate your concerns and provide accurate assistance, please reach out to our support team with your user ID or the email address associated with your TickTickTrader account.

Regarding live account transitions and payouts:
Supporting qualified traders in moving to live accounts has always been a core objective at TickTickTrader. We ensure that those who transition have consistently demonstrated strong trading performance and successfully withdrawn substantial payouts. The onboarding process follows a structured cohort and queue system to maintain fairness. Currently, we onboard dozens of traders each week and are actively working to expand this capacity and shorten transition times.

Feel free to contact our support team at help@tickticktrader.com. Once we can locate your profile, we’ll be happy to assist you further.

Hi WE,

Thank you once again for providing your information.

As a follow-up to your existing review, we’d like to clarify the details regarding the profit split structure. The shift to an 80/20 profit split was announced ahead of time and officially took effect on March 24, 2025. As mentioned in our announcement, all payouts submitted before March 23, 2025, at 08:59 PM UTC still qualified for the previous 90/10 profit split.

Please note that we always make it a point to announce important changes in advance to keep our traders informed and prepared.

We appreciate your understanding and aim to maintain transparency by communicating all policy changes clearly and in advance.

Should you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us at help@tickticktrader.com.

--- UPDATE as of 07.30.25---

Hi WE,

We are responding to your baseless and highly inaccurate review. Your claims are false and misleading.

Contrary to your statement that we have "no intention on taking traders live" and are "slowing down payouts," our records clearly show that you have consistently received substantial payouts. To date, you have been paid a total of $11,200 across multiple accounts,: TTTD431483, TTTD395448, TTTD394053, TTTD394046, TTTD395449, and TTTD395564. Your assertion that you need "time to get my money back" is demonstrably false given these payments.

Furthermore, your claim of "ZERO follow up after two months of waiting for live" is incorrect. We confirm that your account is currently in the queue for the next live group. As previously stated, transitioning qualified traders to live accounts is our main objective, and this process follows a structured cohort and queue system. We ensure those who transition have consistently demonstrated great performance while cashing out substantial payouts, as you yourself have done.

Your accusations of "liquidity issues" and being a "pyramid scheme of failing traders" are libelous and completely without merit. We operate with full financial integrity and transparency.

Your review contains slanderous and defamatory statements that we refute entirely with factual evidence from our records.

--- Updated 06.24.25 ---

Hi Aaron,

Thank you for your review.

We would like to clarify the reason behind the termination of your accounts. After a thorough review, it was determined that both accounts were involved in micro-scalping activity, with three instances detected on each. Specifically:
-TTTD414995 : Violations were detected at 02/11/2025 08:33:38, 02/11/2025 08:33:31, and 02/11/2025 08:34:09.
-TTTD413581 : Violations were detected at 02/12/2025 08:32:07, 02/12/2025 08:32:13, and 02/12/2025 08:32:23.

At the time these violations were detected, micro-scalping was clearly listed in our Help Center as a trading practice to avoid. As such, your payouts were rejected, and a formal warning was issued.

-The payout request for Account TTTD413581 was rejected on 02/14/2025 due to violations detected during the audit.
-The payout request for Account TTTD414995 was rejected on 02/13/2025 due to violations detected during the audit.

Nonetheless, as a gesture of goodwill, we provided you with two new accounts on 02/21/2025, giving you another opportunity to trade within our guidelines.

You later requested payouts from these accounts after realizing a profit. After conducting an audit of your payout requests:
-The payout request for Account TTTD49252 was approved and successfully processed on 03/11/2025.

Please know that we do not take such actions lightly and only proceed after a fair and thorough review. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact our support team at help@tickticktrader.com.

Hi Krishna,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We understand how frustrating it can be to encounter ongoing issues, especially when you've been eager to access our services for several months. We truly appreciate your patience.

That said, please be informed that access to our platform is currently restricted in certain regions, which is why you're unable to purchase an Evaluation or S2F account. This decision was made due to a combination of regulatory considerations, risk management policies, and operational limitations that impact our ability to provide a consistent and compliant user experience in certain regions.

We recognize that this may be disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion this has caused. Our support team is unable to override this restriction while it remains in effect. Should there be any changes to our regional availability in the future, we will communicate those updates clearly.

Thank you again for your understanding.

Update:

Hi Hamid,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand your concerns and would like to clarify a few key points regarding our platform.

First and foremost, TickTickTrader does offer a Live account option, which has been available since January of this year. You can find detailed information about our Path to Live Program here: https://support.tickticktrader.com/hc/en-us/articles/30041598636561-What-is-the-Path-to-Live-Program.

Regarding your concerns about trader profiles and performance claims on social media, we want to assure you that we do not fabricate or falsely represent trader achievements. All shared content is based on actual performance, and we are committed to upholding integrity and transparency in our communications.

As for the 20% consistency rule, we understand your frustration. This rule is in place to promote sustainable and risk-aware trading practices. While large profits—such as from news events—are indeed allowed, traders must still meet consistency requirements across all account types, including Direct and Performance accounts. This ensures fairness and long-term viability for all users.

While we respect that some firms choose different approaches, we remain committed to policies that support disciplined trading.

Additionally, we want to be clear: TickTickTrader operates with transparency and integrity. All program details, rules, and trader expectations are openly communicated through our official channels.

If you have additional questions or would like further clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team. We’re here to help.
