I have been buying the chicken kibble…
I have been buying the chicken kibble from Thrive for a very long time, and something clearly seems to have changed recently.
For several weeks, the product was completely unavailable on every website. When it finally came back in stock, the kibble looked totally different:
- much lighter in color,
- much drier,
- and far less oily/fatty than before.
Since this change, my cats have been experiencing very violent vomiting shortly after eating, even though they had always tolerated these kibbles perfectly in the past.
After reading recent reviews, I can see that I am not the only customer noticing digestive issues since the product returned to sale.
Has there been a recipe change, a new factory, or a manufacturing change?
Because honestly, these are clearly not the same kibbles as before, and it is becoming concerning for pets’ health.

I have ordered Thrive cat treats from different sellers over the years,the first purchase was amazing Leo could not get enough of them but over time I ordered from Amazon and other supermarket ,they were hard like pellets ,I did contact Thrive and they kindly sent me a new batch ,probably 50% were ok.such a shame.

One of the Few Foods My IBD Cat Can Tolerate
I have a senior cat with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and several other health issues, so providing high-quality food is essential to keeping him comfortable and well. I’ve spent a long time researching cat food, focusing on the cleanest, most natural options available, and Thrive pet food stands out as one of the best brands in the UK for quality and transparency.

I have what seems like the world’s fussiest cat so to find natural treats that she loves is fantastic. The bigger bits of thrives natural treats I just split in half for Phlixie & she happily eats them before demanding more. 10/10 Thrive, thank you for making treats for even the most fussiest of cats.
