Amazing IEMs

At 21:04 on 2022/09/01 I was within ten feet of the door where the package would be delivered to. There was no knock, no door bell. The package was then left on the front porch the following day. Perhaps DHL just didn't get to the delivery on the first day and the tracking text is misleading.

Great sound, arrived 2 days early too. The instruments sound so distinct and beautiful.

The IEM it self is really grade and well tuned probably one of the best that I own. The cable on the other hand was not in a perfect finish the splitter in the middle had some unfinished or maybe scrapped places in it

Thieaudio Monarch Mark II

1st Impressions:

This is a very well balanced IEM.

I was initially worried that it might be a bit too bright, sharp & ‘shouty” but this wasn’t the case. Again, well balanced is the operative word.

I’m not an ‘Audiophile’, yet, i appreciate good, quality sound reproduction that is basically neutral with some emphasis to the lows & highs for an analytical listen but yet versatile for casual listening. I’ve come to realise that most headphones & IEMs don’t do so well in the mid-bass; muddying up the sound. Not so, with TA MkII.

Also, as a musician, when transcribing music, i need to hear as much clear detail, definition & separation as possible without the treble being sharp like knives; with the TA MkII, I now have a tool that can finally give me all of that.

Previous to this, all previous listening gear muddy up the mid-bass (among other things) too much, or are too light in the sound lacking detail & clarity (tuned for a ‘fun’ consumer friendly sound a.k.a. boosted lows & highs?)

Be aware that i”m not a Bass-Head or Treble-Freak, nor an In-your-Face-Vocals Fanatic. Again, neutral is the word, with a little bit of ‘fun’ mixed it. The primary purpose is to hear faithful reproduction of the music. If it sounds bad because of the miking, production issues, i wanna hear it. If the recording & production is good, i wanna enjoy it!

My musical wants & tastes are quite simple and Thieaudio Monarch Mark II is my end-game IEM.

As someone in US purchasing goods from a Chinese store, I need to get immediately response within reasonable time frame. I purchased an item and waited for three days without any ordering update. So I sent a message asking for an update. Another three days with no reply. I left two more messages in different emails and on website. Another three days passed, just when I am about to file a claim for refund. I finally get a reply saying I need to wait for 3-6 weeks. I'm spending nearly $1000 it's a lot of money. You need to make sure I can trust the company and keep customer with peace in mind. A little more reassuring and communication to keep me in the loop would be nice. Otherwise, I would rather to shop at US store that I can get return easily if I don't like to product.
