Do not chase the "endgame".
Had a pair of another Chinese IEM worth 400 bucks. Once Monarch arrived, I immediately plugged those in my ears and got shocked. The sound quality difference was barely present, if any. The bass is heavier indeed, but only if the song was "bassy" by default. For some other songs I might not even pass the blind test.
Overall, due to the bass presence I would say Monarch Mk3 is better than my initial brand. But is the 2.5 price difference worth it? No way.
Suggestion to all newcomers in this hobby. Do not chase the "perfection". It does not exist, and if it does, pass certain price point, the returns will be very diminishing. 300-400USD IEMs would serve you the life time with no issues.
Quality issues:
1. Carrying bag is of super low quality. I had my very first 250USD IEM had 3 times better case. Here, the zipper stuck oftentimes. The size of the case could fi my DAP in it.
1.1 Letters on the case are "bleeding".
2. Back side of the shell with name and model on it is not printed properly, as if it was in heavy use for many years.
Poor quality control overall.

The shopping experience for me is mixed
The shopping experience for me is middling. On one hand it was easy to pick what i wanted and order it. On the other handoutside of the basic confirmation i haven't received any kind of information or communication about the order. I would think an order with this kind of price tag would garner at least some level of communication and updates. I doubt i will be going theough this company for a future purchase.

No Exchange Policy
I received a cable with the wrong connector type. I wanted to exchange the UNOPENED cable for the right connector, but the customer service person said they have no exchange policy and cannot accept a return due to “sanitary reasons”. ??????
