I teach 1 on 1 pottery lessons in my garden studio, and i bought the pottery people's own home studio wheel for my students. Its been perfect for what i need so far, and Lara was really helpful organising delivery for me on the day that suit me.

I ordered a Shimpo Stool that they contact me for delivery in 1-2 days. I didn’t hear a thing for one week. When I contacted them, they said they will look into it and came back telling me they didn’t have the product but they have it now if I want it.
I went ahead and confirmed I still want it and again they went silent until I sent them an email about how dishonest they have been and asked for a refund which they did give immediately.

The Pottery People offer a great service. I recently bought a wheel and not only is it lovely to use, it arrived within a couple of days with free delivery and was easy to put together. The team are really helpful in answering questions and offering suggestions, and their website has loads of great resources. Happy to recommend this company to other potters!

I bought the pottery people wheel, I was really pleasanly suprised at how high quality the build feels. The delivery was quick and Sam called me after a week to make sure everything was going well with it.

Had my first kiln delivered from The Pottery People and Billy has been great at helping how to set it up and use it, with 2 successful firings so far. Really friendly and helpful.

I ordered some powdered clear glaze, it arrived quickly and although I've only test-dipped one piece, it's come out very smooth and clean! I had a small issue with postage but Billy was extremely helpful, I will definitely be back for some more glazes, thankyou!

Bought my first kiln from the pottery people. I was a bit nervous setting it up, but Billy agreed to give me a call when it arrived to talk me through setting it up and programming the controller. Still need to get my head around it a bit but the help was so useful, really felt valued as a customer.

Ordered the Ikon 61 GXR. It took 6 weeks to arrive, which was what was quoted at the time of order. I went for the delivery service as I am fairly local to Bristol.

Was really happy with the service from Billy and Sam. It was a bit of a struggle getting it down my steps in the garden and down to the shed but we managed it in the end! They talked me through how to use the controller and made sure I was happy with everything before they left and they took the packaging and pallet away with them.
Would shop here again and recommend the delivery service if you are in the South West.

I shopped around a lot for my kiln as it is such a major purchase. The Pottery People had the most competitive prices but also had great customer service. They answered all my questions, organised delivery to suit me, and have continued to provide an excellent after sales service.

I bought a 'beginners bundle' in November 2024. From beginning to end it was easy to choose, order and receive delivery of all elements. Since then I had a problem with my kiln and Billy arranged Kilncare to contact me ASAP. It was all sorted in no time. I'm very pleased with the items and service I had, and keep having, from The Pottery People.
