Useful scheme, but very dependent on your participating vet

We originally joined **Pet Health Club** because our registered veterinary practice, **Castle Vets in Reading**, participated in the scheme. The membership itself offered some useful benefits, including preventative healthcare services and access to additional pet-health support.

Unfortunately, following a complaint we made to our veterinary practice, the practice subsequently ended its veterinary relationship with us and removed our pets from its client list. As our Pet Health Club membership was linked to that practice, we asked for the memberships to be ended as well.

We have since been looking for another local veterinary practice that we are happy with, but so far have not found one that suits us. We are also unsure whether whichever practice we eventually choose will participate in, or allow us to enrol again with, Pet Health Club. For that reason, we decided to terminate the membership for the time being.

The concept of Pet Health Club is good and the benefits can be worthwhile, but our experience has highlighted that **the usefulness of the membership is heavily dependent on having a participating veterinary practice that you are happy to remain with long term**.

I wouldn't rule out joining again in the future if we find the right local vet that participates in the scheme, but for now cancelling was the most sensible option.

From signing up to getting my first appointment was beyond easy. I’m rest assured that anything that happens to my Luna will be sorted. Pet Health Club is affordable& gives me peace of mind.

Easy to apply. Reasonable rate. Especially including consultations with a vet. My dog recently had his annual health check and booster, collected flea and worming tabs as part of the plan. So far very happy!

I have needed on occasion to chat to the 24/7 vets and found them very helpful and quick to respond.

It's very convenient for me. I don't worry about anything it's all done for me just got to pick it up and give it. My pet is happy and healthy with out any worries. I just luv it.

When needed it was very easy

We have a dog and a puppy so taking out this cover for both of them is so worthwhile as it covers so much with one monthly payment

Website is easy to use and to join pet health club. As I’ve only recently joined I can’t give anymore details at present. The staff at Clent Hills vets are lovely and helpful

A month ago my beautiful Staff was off colour and my children took her to Abertillery South Wales Vets. They scheduled an emergency operation to spay her at Newport South Wales Vets the following morning as she had Pyometra. The staff were amazing, so considerate and efficient. They explained everything and made sure I understood. They encouraged plenty of questions. The admin for the insurance (plus supporting evidence) was actioned instantly. Jo the surgeon is an absolute artist as it’s been a month and the scar is barely noticeable. They really care about my four legged member of my family. A very positive experience at such a stressful and frightening time.

We are only new members and have only used pet plan once. Will be in a better position to review when we have used pet plan a number of times
