Absolute lack of professionalism

I placed an order on December 26th and waited for over 40 days. During this time, I was repeatedly promised that my order would ship "by the end of the week" or "by the end of the month," but it never happened. My tracking status remained stuck on "Label Created" for more than a month.

The most frustrating part was the lack of professional communication. I sent a final notice stating that if my order didn't ship by Friday, I would request a refund on Monday. Instead of reading the email and fulfilling the order, they simply canceled it immediately without even trying to solve the issue.

Absolute lack of respect for the customer's time and a total failure in logistics and support. If you are looking for reliability and professional service, look elsewhere. 40 days for absolutely nothing.

36 Days and Counting…

Ordered a PDM through the shop app (12/29/25) and a tracking number was generated after 2 weeks (1/10/26.) As of 2/3/26, nothing has shipped nor any indication that anything will be shipping anytime soon. I’ve emailed twice and received the same rehashed email saying it will “guarantee” to ship this upcoming week. If it doesn’t ship this week then most likely will cancel the order. Lesson learned but very disappointed with this experience. Would recommend you wait an extra few weeks, save some more money and order from a bigger trusted discounter.

Stay away from them!

What an absolute scam! I fell for their attractive prices for high end perfumes. Big mistake! Placed two orders (Jan 4 and Jan 9) for one bottle each. Never received either bottle as of Feb 2. Contacted them multiple times. The standard response was "we have almost finished processing your order. it should get shipped soon". Load of hogwash. They created a tracking label for the first order right away. Nothing for the second one. But there has been no activity for an entire month. I am trying to get my money back. I'd rather pay extra to another merchant for reliable service than trust this company in future.

Not worth the wait

They have excellent prices but it’s not worth waiting a month or longer for a fragrance to be shipped. Pay a few dollars more and shop elsewhere.

I had a very frustrating experience with this store. Despite placing my first order over two months ago and a second order weeks later, neither was ever shipped. I contacted customer support multiple times and consistently received vague responses, shifting timelines, and promises that were never fulfilled. There was a clear lack of transparency, planning, and follow-through. While communication existed, no concrete action ever happened. Canceled my order after almost three months

Constant shipping delays and excuses

Constant shipping delays and excuses. Order was placed 6 weeks ago with the note it would ship in "1-2 weeks." I received a tracking number 3 weeks ago but the package has not shipped. I've been told twice over the last month my order would ship by the end of the week. Sent another email 5 days ago with no response, emailed them again today. Not sure why they are doing but the constant delays and excuses are a terrible way to run a business.

UPDATE: Due to unresponsiveness on my last email I filed a claim via PayPal. The Parfums responded immediately and shipped my order within a few days. Because of the delays they had issued me several gift cards and I placed another order as I essentially got the fragrance at half price. Order was placed on Feb. 3 with estimated shipping of 1-3 weeks. At the end of the 3rd week I emailed them and was told it would ship "within this week or the next" at the end of the 2nd week I emailed them again and was told they "expected" it to ship within 14-18 days. This would put me at 2 months with no guarantee the item would actually ship. I've requested an immediate cancellation and refund.

Worse ever in my life

Horrid shipping. I’ve had to cancel half the orders I placed and still the orders I received took over 2 months. They say 2 day shipping that’s a lie. They don’t even follow their own guidelines. Fragrances are legit but if you’re not willing to wait 2 months I wouldn’t order from them. And by the time they actually fill the order I promise you you can find the fragrance somewhere else and just cancel your order with them. If they don’t fill the order in 2 weeks than cancel has been my logic. That’s the time they hv set for themselves so I’m hold them to their own standards.

Not at trust worthy company.

I purchased Vertus Vanilla Oud the 11th of December 2025. On the app store it stated will ship out within 1-2 weeks. I was ok with that due to a fair price, but I wouldn't say outstanding. I patiently waited over month because I figured the holidays ect... When I reached out I received a apology for the delay and asked if I wanted a discount voucher on my next purchase or a refund. They also stated that my order would ship out the following Monday. I requested a refund. No response for 2 days and then I received a refund denial due to a shipping label being created. I waited patiently again after receiving a ups tracking number which never updated with a received parcel update. After this they stopped responding. Through prior experiences with less reputable discounters I luckily made my purchase through the shop app using Affirm. I opened up disputes through Affirm, the Shop App, and Shopify platform. Once they were contacted by Affirm only then did they send me a cancelation email. It still ended up taking about 2 weeks to receive a full refund. The reviews on their shop app store gotta be mostly fake. There's no way all the independent reviews on here are this bad but no one on the Shop app has this horrible experience. I suggest anyone reading this review utilize Affirm, Klarna, or Afterpay if its a payment option for less reputable stores. It at least gives you a added layer of protection and recourse. That or use your American Express they have a solid no bs policy when it comes to these matters. I can't same the same for banks and other credit cards. Bottom line stick with trusted discounters. Don't waste your time or money with this place

Ordered the Creed Zarian Oud

Ordered the Creed Zarian Oud which is one of the most expensive products that Creed sells, order was placed on November the 23rd, 2025, I just received it yesterday, January the 24th of 2026. The item was supposed to be brand new, it was missing the plastic wrap around the box, missing one of the marketing pieces inside the Creed box, atomizer smelled like someone had already used the product. Horrid delivery times, misinformation about the speed of delivery, selling used items as brand new.

It's been over a month and while they…

It's been over a month and while they printed shipping labels, it's been 13 days and still UPS has not received the item yet. I see some people have eventually gotten their products sometimes a month later, but it's been just over a month and no clear path to getting my items. I will likely cancel in the next couple days if there is no movement as I assume they do not have the product and no ETA when they will get it

I was forced to initiate a chargeback…

I was forced to initiate a chargeback through the Shop app (the mobile shopping app tied to Shopify/Shop Pay) due to lack of communication and response to emails. Six weeks from the initial order placement had already passed.

A chargeback is when a payment you made for an order is formally disputed through your bank or card issuer instead of being resolved with the merchant directly. In this case the bank or card issuer is the Shop app itself because they're representing the retailer financially.

I'm old and have been purchasing items online for 30 years now and this is the first time I can recall [because I am old] that I have had to go the extra mile to initiate a chargeback.

Update: A pyramid scheme is a fraudulent model in which funds from new participants are used to pay earlier participants, with sustainability dependent on continuous recruitment rather than legitimate product sales. In the context of an online retailer such as theparfumes.com, the term is often used loosely and may more accurately describe concerns about a cash-flow, dependent operation, where new customer orders fund previously unfulfilled orders. Unlike a true pyramid scheme, customers are purchasing products rather than paying to recruit others. However, extended shipping delays, lack of inventory transparency, and reliance on ongoing sales to meet existing obligations can indicate liquidity or operational instability, which is structurally different from, but sometimes confused with, a pyramid scheme.

The review beginning with "TO THE POINT REVIEW!" is full of enough manure they could be the next POTUS. What a load of crock from a likely conbird of feather. They all flock together these days. Gaslighting us on the facts. Telling us to deny our own experiences. Shame on them. The ratio of 1 star reviews to 5 star reviews is basically 87:3 as I write this counterpoint. Take any review over three stars with a health dose of skepticism

HORRIBLE!

HORRIBLE!!
Placed two orders back in December and they have not fulfilled either. sent couple of emails and they were supposed to ship January 5th. Going on the end of January and only have a UPS Label created. I was looking for a bargain but end up with inexcusable service. at this point I should have just bought my fragrance at retail.

Do not order from this website!!

Do not order from this website. I placed an order November 27 and still have not received my fragrance. I’ve followed up multiple times and their response is always that the batch is delayed, it will be in next week, they have a lot of orders and are trying to keep up, etc. it’s been 11 weeks!!!

Over a Month of Waiting and Still No Order

I placed an order with The Parfums on December 4th, hoping to receive it as a Christmas gift. According to their shipping policy, they advertise “Free 2–3 Day Shipping (after 1–2 weeks processing time)”.

After two weeks, there was no movement on my order at all. I contacted customer support and was politely informed that they were experiencing a high volume of orders and that my order would ship within a week. They also provided a $10 gift card, which I appreciated.

However, after another week — still nothing.
As of December 11th, I still had not received my order. A tracking number was created on December 8th, but the carrier has not received the package, which clearly indicates that the “2–3 day shipping” claim is also misleading.

I want to point out that customer support is responsive and polite, usually replying within a day. Unfortunately, politeness does not compensate for consistently missed timelines and unfulfilled promises.

I even placed another order on December 23rd, using the gift card they provided. After more than two weeks with no shipment, I was forced to cancel that order as well.

Another important detail: customers cannot leave a review on their website unless the order is marked as delivered. This conveniently explains their high rating — customers with delayed or never-shipped orders simply have no way to share their experience. As a result, the positive reviews appear to come only from a few lucky customers whose orders actually shipped.

Bottom line: I see no reason to shop with this store. They violate their own stated policies and behave in an extremely unprofessional manner toward customers. There are plenty of other shops offering the same prices with actual 2–3 day delivery. I am a very understanding person, but waiting over a month for an order crosses every reasonable line.
