Very happy with the personal & professional service provided by Martyn and his team of fastidious fitters. From the design to the installation of our two verandas we've been very impressed by the quality of advice, workmanship and snag sorting. The fitters spent a long time to make sure the interface between the side panels and our rough stone wall was weatherproofed. The company are based in Kent but readily travelled up to our house in the Cotswolds to plan and supply a very sturdy outdoor living space. Thank you - very happy to recommend!

We used the Outdoor Living Group to design and build our Glassroom and they created a bespoke design to fit our outside area that was absolutely perfect and has exceeded our expectations. The whole process from start to finish was very professional and efficient and our Glassroom has really added another 'room' to our house, and used daily, anything from relaxing to entertaining, and even as a space to exercise! Thank you guys and best decision we made to have you create our ideal outdoor living space.

Thank you Martyn for pulling out all the stops to not only help us with a complex problem & design but for also bringing forward the installation date as this was music to our ears given the circumstances so thank you & the team for your help.

Communication with the company was excellent at all stages of the contract from the initial design to the build and then final snagging.
The fitting team were punctual, polite, hard-working and cleaned up well after themselves each day.
Overall I am delighted with the installation and the extra space that it has provided.

We were really impressed with the salesman, he gave us as much time as we needed. We were not hurried & explanations were very clear. We were given ample opportunity to ask questions, view the videos etc
He was totally honest about fabric colours & how they may or may not work
Delivery time was realistic and accurate & communication was excellent
The fitters were polite, clean and tidy

So, we’ve had our glass room for almost a year and love it! We have barely used our lounge since our glass room was installed. Installation went smoothly and everything was left clean and tidy. Customer service has been faultless; all teething problems were acknowledged and quickly resolved. Our garden room is our little piece of heaven.

The Glass Room
I am delighted with my new Glass Room which has just been completed. I have nothing but praise for all concerned at The Outdoor Living Group. Martin has gone the extra mile to be as helpful as possible from the initial consultation to the finished project.
Tyler and Jake who did the installation were very efficient and easy to have around, even to the extent of helping me with other things as I live alone. The one or two teething problems were swiftly rectified.
I am now looking forward to many years enjoying 'bringing the outside in'.

Poor Customer Service, Leaks in Louvers and ignoring emails, no contact since January, despite several emails and telephone calls. We are not even asking them to cover the costs, Martyn just ignores you as soon as there is a problem, and we spent nearly £30,000 with the company. Martyn was poor at installation time, blaming it on personal problems, but contact is now no existent.

I have held off writing this review in the hope that Martyn would actually honour his obligations, however he has not and these issues have been ongoing for more than a year now.

Our initial site meetings were friendly and easy. Martyn from the Outdoor Living Group kindly reined in our over ambitious ideas back to a manageable level. One problem that had to be dealt with was allowing a Wisteria to come through both sides of the glass room. This was dealt with calmly and efficiently and the result was perfect.
It is used almost everyday, summer and winter. Simply put, it’s our favourite space in our home. Christmas was special and it’s great to have a large tree in there so there’s no mess inside the house to contend with! We have lots of lights around the top and with a few candles the reflections from all the glass turn it into a Christmas Grotto.
The construction of it was done very efficiently and there were no problems at all with any of the glass or frame installation.
All in all this wasn’t an inexpensive undertaking, but we have no regrets at all.
There is nothing better than sitting out in it in a dramatic storm, safely tucked behind the glass.

We spoke to several suppliers before choosing Outdoor Living Group, and Martyn stood out with his expertise and enthusiasm for his products, making sure we had it customised to exactly our requirements. The finished product is of excellent quality and has transformed the way we use the outside space, especially in summer.

Martyn sold us the dream, put up with us as we hummed and hummed and when we finally decided was true to his word down to every last detail, all coming together with a brilliant install on a cold wet December day. Since then the BOX has delivered everything we hoped it would and more

I would like to say that The Outdoor Living Group did a fantastic job of the installation, James and his team completed the installation on time and worked in the rain to get it completed, Martin was on hand to ensure everything went smoothly. I am absolutely thrilled and pleased with the level of finish of the German made Weinor Glasoase and the level and quality of the workmanship, not just the product but the installation, nothing was too much trouble, Thanks again Martyn and James.

I would recommend the installation of the blinds if only the roof one as I face South and it can get very hot, but I usually just open up the doors.
The other benefit of the Glasoase is that it has cut my heating bills tremendously, as I face south, I open the patio doors which lead into my bungalow, this has the benefit of heating the whole bungalow free of charge, absoulutely delighted, once again thanks very much The Outdoor Living Group.

Extremely happy with the support and service provided by Martyn and the team installing. Kept fully informed and delivered and installed on time - we love our glass room!

Really helpful service at the pre-sale specification stage to ensure we had the best product for our particular location. Reliable and quick on planning and installing the veranda.
We have now used the veranda for a year and have found it to be of good quality and it has really changed the way we can use our outdoor space, whatever the weather.

Absolutely delighted with our glass room and the quality of service received from The Outdoor Living Group. I invited three companies around to discuss installing a glass room, and another remotely, and Martyn is miles ahead of the competition. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to friends, secure in the knowledge that they'll be happy with what they receive for the money spent.

Martyn is a specialist in this area and will give you sound advice, while taking your preferences into account. There are bigger companies than his offering glass rooms (and some will try to tell you not to go with a smaller operation), but I don't think you'll get as good pricing, accountability, professionalism or service with them. Martyn's team is also able to handle aspects around the install and with us, that meant work on our Millboard deck and railing.

Martyn worked with my partner and me to understand what we were after and come up with something that worked for an awkward site. One company found our terraced house with a deck so awkward that they told us we couldn't have a glass room! But, as ever, there are solutions and some trade-offs that can make it work.

I'm grateful to Martyn that he put up with my multitude of questions as I tried to understand more about the options the Weinor system offers and how to best create what we were after. As part of my research into this, I spoke to a representative of Weinor in Germany and then another based in England who only had good things to say about Martyn when we got to talking about installers.

The glass room itself is such a cosy space and we've been enjoying it in its completed form for over a month now. We partly wanted it to be able to enjoy an outside area with guests without the worry that we'd get rained on and have to rush back inside. Prior to the glass room, we'd set up our outdoor furniture on the deck and then a gazebo on the lawn if rain threatened (we upped our outdoor socialising game these past couple of years). But also we wanted a space that could act as a snug, to read or work in day or night whatever the weather. With the lights, heater and the space being enclosed, it works like magic for this. Exactly as Martyn said, the roof shade doesn't just keep the sun out, it makes the space feel more cosy. Also, it's our dog's favourite space now. He can be on sofa *and* watch out for potential cat invaders at the same time. A conservatory would have been considerably more expensive and involved a lot more construction. On top of that we were worried that a conservatory would get too hot just when we wanted to spend more time in it and well, they often look ugly!

As a further testament to Martyn's professionalism, I feel it worth mentioning that during the initial install, one of the two sliding doors opened in a different direction than was in the specification set out in the contract. It was installed opening from right to left, when the spec had described left to right opening as this suits the space more given the position of the stairs onto the deck. When I pointed this out, Martyn apologised, admitted that there had been an ordering mistake, and there was zero argument, even though this unfortunately meant ordering more parts from Weinor in Germany. Also, because of our slightly wonky house (nothing is straight) he had to order wider trims to seal the sides of the room against the external read wall. I dread to think what having to do this did to Martyn's margin on the project given that he honoured the original price. A couple of months later, all was sorted (the wait being on Weinor's side, not Martyn's). We were able to enjoy the room in the meantime, just the doors went the other way and the room wasn't as sealed against the house as it is now (there was a 1-2in gap).

We've done a lot of renovations to our house and our glassroom has to be near the top of the list for value for money and ease of arranging.

The Outdoor Living Group installed a garden room for us in June 2019. The frame of the new room was to sit on a deck which we had built earlier in the year, between two existing walls, with a glass roof and front sliding doors. We also ordered integrated lighting, heating and drainage, and they provided full project management throughout. The job which was done was thoroughly professional from the design stage through to installation and after care. The results are fantastic and it has transformed what was a previously unused part of our garden and house into something we are proud of and use every day. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone contemplating a similar project. Well done to all involved !.

Our finished glass room has exceeded all our expectations. Martyn’s advice and suggestions about colours and style proved to be spot on and so in keeping with our house. His attention to detail ensured the team we had already hired to do our landscaping and patio knew exactly what they had to do, avoiding any problems later. The installers were extremely professional, skilled and polite and completed the job so efficiently. Due to Covid related supply issues there one or two very slight problems with parts, but Martyn went out of his way to get these sorted and came over personally to check everything was resolved. Our glass room looks very modern and stylish and we are pleased with the quality of the construction. It has been much admired already and we can’t wait to enjoy it in the coming months.
