Poor Quality and Sizing Issues
I’ve had multiple disappointing experiences with The Kript, and I feel like people need to be warned about their quality and sizing issues.
The first time I shopped from them was in 2022, after COVID. I ordered a pair of pants in XL, my usual size. When they arrived, they were way too loose. I thought, “Fine, mistakes happen,” and made them work. I decided to give them another chance, but that was a big mistake.
The second time, I ordered a pair of leather pants with oversized ring details at the thighs, again in my usual size. When they arrived, the fit was bizarre. The bottom half of the pants (from the thighs down) fit fine, but the top half (from the waist up) was so tight it didn’t fit at all. I had to spend extra money to get them tailored, which was frustrating but necessary.
When I finally wore the pants to a concert, the quality issues became painfully obvious. As I walked, the oversized rings started unbuckling. I tried to reattach them, but they kept coming undone. I eventually realized the rings weren’t properly secured — they were loosely screwed in. By the time I reached the venue, half of the rings had fallen off, leaving me frustrated and embarrassed.
I contacted customer service, expecting a refund for this disaster, but all they gave me was store credit. Reluctantly, I used it to buy a top, sizing down even further to avoid the same issues. This time, the top was an even bigger letdown. It fit perfectly fine, then within 30 seconds of trying it on, the plastic corset cage started coming out of the fabric. It was completely unwearable.
At this point, I’ve realized that The Kript doesn’t care about quality or providing properly-sized clothing. I’ve wasted time, money, and effort on their products, and every experience has been worse than the last. If you’re thinking of buying from them, don’t waste your money. There are much better brands like, WMNS Wear, NiHaii and Asos, that deliver on quality and customer service.
