Excellent service
Excellent service, extremely helpful & pleasant staff. Got my delivery here on time when I contacted them as it was a birthday present.

The Kitchen Box – Refused Statutory Refund Rights Under Consumer Rights Act 2015
I ordered a high-end tap in August 2025. The tank failed immediately upon installation (5 Sept 2025). I reported it promptly and they sent a replacement under their CRA 2015 Section 23 repair obligation.
The replacement also failed within weeks. Under Section 24(1) & (2), I am now entitled to a full refund from the trader (The Kitchen Box). They have refused, claiming:
“Support now falls to the manufacturer” → no such provision exists in the CRA 2015
“Our policy limits refunds to 30 days” → unenforceable under Section 31
Faults after 30 days are not covered → ignores Section 19(15) 6-month presumption
I have provided full evidence and cited the exact legislation. Their response? Silence and denial.
This is not a policy issue – it is a deliberate breach of UK consumer law.
I have now escalated to Trading Standards (Scotland) and will pursue chargeback and Small Claims.
Avoid this company. They hide behind “policies” while ignoring statutory rights.
1 star only because zero isn’t an option.

I bought a kitchen cabinet from this site the other week , I was skeptical at first after seeing one or 2 bad reviews but there was a load of 5 star reviews so I went ahead with the order
And I am so happy i made the decision to purchase from the kitchen box
The kitchen cabinet came so fast , literally waited 2 days
It was exactly as I wanted and I cannot complain at all
Thank you very much the kitchen box
I DO RECOMMEND
5 stars from me

As others have stated, avoid this company at all costs because they will take your money, confirm your order and delivery dates, but then leave you hanging waiting for delivery. The only way to complain is via email. There is no contact number, despite the terms and conditions stating that one can call or email the firm to complain. In my view, based upon my experience, Kitchen Box should be avoided like the plague.
The first I knew that the goods I ordered (a Miele freezer, well under list price) would not be delivered was when I received notification from Kitchen Box of a refund this morning. There was no prior communication to inform me that they could not maintain their contract. If a company takes your money, telling you that the goods you ordered have been dispatched, and then for some reason decide not to deliver, then that is a breach of contract.
Looking at the negative reviews on this page, it’s obvious that something is wrong with the way that this company does business. They really let me down, but I suppose I was lucky to get a refund.
NB
I have since further considered the business methods of Kitchen Box; I now believe that they are operating a scam. As with other reviewers’ experiences, they take your money for apparently in stock items, but then inexplicably give a late delivery date. My notice of refund was only given on the date of the expected delivery. This implies they are taking customers’ money, banking it, and then using the funds as cheap monthly capital, only refunding by the late delivery date to avoid scrutiny by trading standards officers. Just a thought!
AVOID! - AVOID! - AVOID!

Lady on phone was very helpful. Made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Quick, simple and fast delivery too. Would definitely buy again and recommend.

I wrote in and asked for the expected delivery time on an appliance before placing my order, and was told it was available for "next day delivery". I placed my order a few hours later and got confirmation of order, delivery address and price.
I then got two emails cancelling the order as the PRICE was too LOW.
So, despite having an order confirmation and the money taken from my credit card, they cancelled the order, and now I need to wait for my refund. The new price increase offered is more than a competitor, so I will not be using The Kitchen Box.

Placed the order, got an email a few days later saying item shipped.
Never received, 3 emails sent to ask for more information, no response. They don;t have a phone number and I spoke to a company with a very similar name and they said 'best of luck, we get loads of people that nthey scam and don't send the product out' AVOID!!!
I’ve bought kitchen cabinets three times now from this company and each time I’ve been really pleased with the quality. No complaints whatsoever. Customer service even rang me to check my order as they thought there had been a mistake and they were right!! My fault ordering the wrong size!! Brownie points to that lady!! Only tiny gripe, and it is tiny, is prior notice for delivery would help to ensure someone can take the delivery instead of just showing up. Luckily we’re not far away and could be there in ten minutes. I’d definitely buy again though.
I agree with Matt's review below as well. How can you review customer support if you don't get any....so dont use this company, delivery is a joke... its now nearly a week over and I have had to cancel trades people from coming as my hob hasnt arrived, will have to buy from Currys as they have it, all be it at a higher price... but I need the hob for the project to proceed.
They also don't have a customer support phone number. Funnily, the chat option on the website has stopped and you only get the email option, which hasn't been answered.
I was saving around £80, not worth the saving, should have ordered from currys.. I can collect it today...
excellent Customer service from start to finish
Avoid.
Ordered a Smeg Double Oven. Was delivered & when installed it clearly looked used internally. Emailed & after 2 weeks & a chaser email, finally got told that as it wasn't declared within 5 days there is nothing they can do. They didn't even offer to investigate how it could have happened which I think is poor customer service.
