I placed an order in August for delivery in October for a handmade product then when I have chased for delivery date end of October I was told item now unavailable, I received no communication or update until I contacted them to ask when it would be delivered.
Whilst in communication with them the link to contact seller on Not on the high street stopped working? I contacted Not on the high street who were very helpful and got my money refunded quickly. I find the business practice of forest & co questionable and wonder how much of people’s money they take for orders whilst never actually supplying the goods, in effect they have your money whilst the order is in process and will be able to use this for their own investments etc

Ordered 3 items, only received 2
I ordered 3 items and received confirmation they would be despatched on 5 October. I then received email saying there was a delay and they would be sent on 7 October. When I received the parcel the following week there were only 2 items - one missing. I was advised it would be posted for guaranteed next day delivery. It wasn't. I had to chase up several times, during which the company stopped replying to emails. I did finally receive it but the hassle in getting it sorted, coupled with the way I was mislead over when this would be posted means that I won't use this company again.
Beautiful scarf
Scarf arrived promptly and has been beautiful to wear. Very versatile, used as a sarong and as travel scarf on long haul flight. So much so have ordered another as a gift. This sadly is taking its time to leave Royal mail's clutches. However spoke to Elaine today, who was so helpful and professional, I am most reassured that all be sorted by the end of the week.

You often order items off the Internet and when they arrive are nothing like what you expected, I ordered the Mustard swivel chair and it was exactly as I expected and as the photo showed it. The price was £300 to £400 less than other places on the Internet. 100% pleased with this item.
Avoid this company
Avoid this company. They appear to be happy to take your money and keep it without sending the items you ordered. I placed an order in mid May and still have not received it. They ignore emails and do not pick up the phone and but still have £60 of my money.
I previously put a poor review here and had a call in July from them to say my goods would be despatched asap and I'd be given a 10% refund if I took my poor review down, which I did. If Forest & Co want to right this situation my order number was 20904, otherwise I'll be contacting Trading Standards.
Outstanding Customer Service
I ordered an item which wasn’t quite up to expectations and had a slight fault. I totally appreciated this can happen to any company and there’s always the odd item that slips through the net of quality control. After reading some of the reviews I was worried my concerns wouldn’t be dealt with. This was definitely NOT the case! Forest and Co were amazing! Not only did they replace the item with an alternative after discussing my needs but they had it personalised and delivered the next day in time for the gift to be given. Simply outstanding customer service! I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again

Yet another "AVOID THIS COMPANY" post! Ordered a chair which was delivered late and broken. All emails to this company seeking a replacement/ refund go unanswered. Will wait the statutory 30 days for requested refund, then file all correspondence with my credit card company to clawback my money, £400.

I came across this small company The Forrest & Co (on the Not On The High Street Website) whilst browsing for navy blue sheepskin rugs and as you will know navy blue can be a tricky one it’s JUST NOT THE NAVY BLUE as advertised it’s just blue but WOW , WOW , and WOW AGAIN AND AGAIN not these ones from THE FORREST AND CO , THEY ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL, LUXURIOUSLY DEEP NAVY BLUE SHEEPSKIN RUGS I’ve ever had. What you see on their website at The Forrest & Co down in Devon IS EXACTLY, NO BETTER THAN YOU WILL EVER EXPECT AND THE PHOTOGRAPH DOES NOT DO IT JUSTICE. They are big sheepskin’s for a single pelt just as they look and I originally sent for TWO I’ve just had ANOTHER TWO DELIVERED TODAY AND I HAVE ASKED Elaine ( now Elaine is a marvel in her own right what a pleasant and pleasurable lady to deal with because I first saw the rugs on the Not On The High Street website they were an absolute nightmare no confirmation email when it did come I had two completely different ones I would NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN) Elaine, Elaine I contacted her LATE last Thursday evening MY RUGS ARRIVED 8.30 am Saturday morning. This lady said she would personally visit her supplier , pick my rugs and sent them to me 24 hour tracked postage to arrive Saturday and SHE DID EXACTLY THAT AND MY OUTSTANDING RUGS ARRIVED AS PROMISED where would you get online shopping service like this , NOWHERE you just don’t and as I’m writing this the other two I ordered on Tuesday YIP YOU GUESSED IT THEY’VE JUST ARRIVED🎊. I read a review on the trust pilot website a customer saying when hers arrived they were DARK PURPLE , total POPPYCOCK I’d say and if that’s true then why not contact Elaine at the Forrest & Co ? I would , shes the easiest lady to speak to and to deal with shes a good business woman she calls back when she says she will and your items arrive when she tells you they will . I am so enamoured with THESE BEAUTIFUL DARK LUXURIOUS NAVY BLUE RUGS IVE NOT ONLY HAD FOUR DELIVERED NOW IVE ASKED HER TO GET ME A PRICE FOR AN 8 or 10 PELT RUG that was yesterday she’s messaged me saying she’ll get my price today , and she will. I will continue to purchase ALL MY SHEEPSKIN FROM THE FOREST AND CO and just before I go I purchased the first two because I have a leather sofa and an 8 STONE DOGUE DE BORDEAUX and throws just kept sliding off NOT ANYMORE and one last thing he was in his paddling pool yesterday came running in and catapulted himself right up in the sofa soaking wet THANK THE LORD FOR ELAINE AND THE SHEEPSKINS I gave it a shake laid it over the back of my deck chair brought it in after only an hour or so BONE DRY AND NO COLOUR TRANSFER ONTO MY CREAM CUSHIONED CHAIR AT ALL now that’s not to say it won’t it just didn’t and I was expecting it so if your like me and are looking for the best The Forrest & Co will past the test .

The worst shopping experience, I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased. 6 weeks later and no order, the promise of new delivery dates that were never met. Definitely a scam website-avoid at all costs!! Radio silence from any messages you send to them to try and resolve. I don't know how Not on the highstreet can partner with such a bad company.

I never received the vanity mirror that I ordered on 15th June 2023 directly from The Forest and Co website (order number #21048). I was given a fictitious delivery day for a vague time in July when I contacted them for an update after 5 weeks. When the mirror didn’t arrive in July I asked for a refund. Instead of providing a refund I was then offered excuses and another fictitious delivery date. I again asked for a refund and now, like others have commented, I have been ignored.
On researching this company to make a complaint to Trading Standards I note that The Forest and Co is described as a “trading style of Smith's Jewellers Limited, a company registered in England & Wales. Registered company number: 09459564”
I’m annoyed because The Forest and Co. presents itself as a quaint shop in Devon when in actuality it’s a dropshipper (I.e acts as a middle man between you and the real supplier) operating out of an industrial park. Avoid at all costs.
UPDATE: I received my refund after the Forest and Co made me wait the full 14 working days required by law. This is disappointing business practice. I don’t know why The Forest and Co needed to hang onto such a small amount of money for 8.5 weeks. The Forest and Co could improve by not adverting goods that they don’t have in stock. If you’re having “supplier” issues then do the right thing and refund customers money, without them repeatedly having to ask you, once you have failed to deliver within the 30 days required by law. Perhaps set aside an hour everyday to process these refunds rather than policing negative online reviews of your poor customer service.

Lovely table lamp
I recently purchased a lovely table lamp direct from The Forest & Co online website.
When the lamp arrived I couldn't believe how gorgeous it was - it's literally beyond stunning! It is a great size/weight and is exceptionally well made.
It was definitely worth a short 2 week wait for and which the owner did advise me of at time of ordering..and once the lamp was in stock at the store, the lamp was sent straight out to me next day delivery by UPS. The lamp was also very well packaged when it arrived and was in perfect condition.
I look forward to supporting/purchasing more items from this company 🙂
