My rum taster box was excellent
My rum taster box was excellent. The kit came with clear instructions on how to mix 2 different drinks, plus a snack to pair with each one. They were easy to make and tasted great. I've cancelled my subscription as I'm relocating and my customer service experience with Keenan was hassle free and straightforward.

Awful.thought I’d cancelled my…
Awful.thought I’d cancelled my subscription to then find a month later payment had been taken. Apparently you can no longer cancel subscriptions as per online and your member/account area (which you can still find and press buttons to!!) They then take money when you think you have cancelled. Would never recommend.

We'd just like to clarify that if a membership has been successfully cancelled, no further payments can be taken. If a payment was collected, it indicates that the membership remained active.
Memberships need to be cancelled by phone. When you head to the Members' Area and click 'Want to cancel' you'll be directed to call.
We ask members to call because it gives our team the opportunity to answer any final questions, resolve any concerns where we can, and gather valuable feedback to help us improve.

The products were good and we enjoyed the drinks and snacks provided as part of the boxes. We, unfortunately, could not afford to commit to the monthly payment, but Keenan, the customer service assistant I spoke with over the phone, understood and was able to cancel my subscription quickly and easily.

Sample box
I received an offer for a sample box just paying p&p via Matalan. This was despatched quickly. I do not want to be a member with a subscription so tried cancelling online. This process isn’t allowed, neither is an email. There is no choice but to telephone which, as I have terrible reception, was more of an ordeal than it should’ve been. I’m sure the box is worth the p&p but I don’t know if Matalan customers are a good target for booze subscriptions as £50 a time. Cancelling should be easier, I seem to recall businesses being fined for making it difficult. Shoddy tactics tbh.
