Xmas cheese debacle

Tried to set up a subscription last year but couldn't choose vegetarian cheese only so gave up. Got an email regarding Xmas packs so thought I would try again. Talk about nightmare before Christmas! Five different packs on offer so began the laborious task of looking at each pack then trying to find each cheese in the pack to look at vegetarian or not. After not getting much information that way I clicked on the FAQ which didn't help then on the get in touch button which took me to a random page. I have given up again!

I’m very sorry to hear how frustrating your experience was when trying to check which cheeses were vegetarian, and that the “get in touch” link didn’t take you to the right place. That’s absolutely not the experience we want for our customers, especially at this time of year.

You’re absolutely right that we previously offered the option to exclude non-vegetarian cheeses from subscriptions. Much as we’d love to still offer that level of customisation, we’re no longer able to provide bespoke selections. Our monthly boxes are built from a carefully curated, seasonal range - and with only a limited number of artisan vegetarian cheeses available, we found we couldn’t consistently guarantee enough variety or stock to keep a veggie-only box running reliably. Making the tough decision to simplify our range helps us focus on the quality of the cheeses we do offer, but we completely understand that this doesn’t meet the needs of all our veggie customers, and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Thank you as well for highlighting the difficulty in finding dietary information on our website. Your feedback is spot on, and our team will be looking into how we can make this much clearer going forward.

First subscription delivery - wonderful!

First delivery of a subscription and it was wonderful! Amazing cheeses, a great range of types and a decent amount to work through together in a few sittings.
I added some crackers and chutney/jams to the first order and they were perfect.
Love the pairings suggestions too so we've definitely upped our cheese game.
Easy to set up and I think a very reasonable price for what seems like a very well thought out service.
Looking forward to the next delivery!

The customer service is amazing.im new…

The customer service is amazing.im new to this brand and had a query with a specific cheese bought in sainsburys. The tema have thoroughly investigated it and been amazing. The cachel blue cheese is out of this world! I am now waiting on a selection of other ones coming from the online store. Can't wait to try these as we ate all obsessed with some good cheese and crackers especially this time of year!! Must mention Jen who is absolutely over and above with her customer service ! From now on will be buying direct from the website

We're really sorry for the confusion and disappointment you've experienced, and we understand how frustrating it must be not receiving your order when expected, especially as this has happened more than once.

We've looked into things and reached out to you directly with an explanation. In short, it looks like your charge and delivery dates have fallen out of sync. This can happen because charge dates always fall on the same day each month, while deliveries are timed based on your most recent box.

If a delivery date has ever been changed in the past, it can create a knock-on effect over time. We're currently working on improving our system so charge and delivery dates stay better aligned, but in the meantime, we've offered a couple of ways we can fix things for you now.

If there's anything else we can do for you, we'd love to know. We're here to help.

Delicious cheese and a near-perfect experience

The cheese is excellent and the shopping experience was essentially perfect.

Dinging a star for: clearly a cheese in our order was out of stock and was substituted (though this was not told to us prior to receiving the delivery), and information on the substitute cheese was not provided.

It’s hard to be at all mad as, firstly, I understand that stock shortages happen, a similar cheese was substituted, and it was delicious. Just writing this to say, if cheesegeek is chasing a perfect customer experience - that would be my definition :)
