Terrible.
Terrible.
Worst bottomless brunch I have been to. They placed 5 of us on the smallest table next to the men’s toilets. We asked to move and we were told to wait. We waited for 45 minutes and moved ourselves. Sat in our new seat for 20 minutes without anyone coming to us, despite us asking twice.
Do not come here it’s the worst experience I’ve ever received
The so called ‘new manager’ of the…
The so called ‘new manager’ of the Camden blues kitchen is a disgrace to the chain. I’ve played in all 3 venues for over 10 years and tonight I was told to leave the bar like a stranger. I was told and I paraphrase ‘ I was slurring my words’ aka suggesting I was drunk!. WTF! When infact the reality was I was dealing with an incompetent juvenile bar staff who looked no older than 19 years old who didn’t know his selection of craft beers and embarrassingly had to be couched on the spot (drunk? I don’t think so). As for the rookie new manager (……Kal?) although initially appeared reasonable was far too quick to side with the incompetent bar staff member who ended up slandering me with an Irish racist comment. Disgusting. Get rid of both. Nowhere near the calibre of prior managers who I’ve known and respected for years. This 4 month rookie manager is killing relationships and the business. They’ll end up sinking a beautiful ship.
**If I were drunk I wouldn’t be writing this review on the same night. I honestly feel the joke I made at the end of the night to the inexperienced bar tender wasn’t appreciated by him. (I signalled I wasn’t drunk by doing a gesture dance whilst passing him
where he childishly signalled back to his more childish manager!). Seems this caused them to ask me to leave. Clearly this wasn’t on the grounds of me being intoxicated but more something of a personal nature. No manager should say to their customers: ‘ F off you Irish’ Is this now the calibre of managers at the blues kitchen? Who do you have managing this treasured place?
Great food
Great food, good tunes, friendly staff & amazingly fast service, would recommend!
Blues Kitchen Shoreditch - Girls Night
I’ve visited the Blue’s in Shoreditch 3 times now and every evening it’s been popping (Thursdays and maybe a Saturday).
Their Spicy Margaritas are done just right, not too spicy or watery. I’d advised booking a table beforehand, if you’re looking to eat before the live music starts/dance floor gets busy.
The food is tasty, the menu limited is massive but what’s on there, they do well. The Fried Chicken and Tostadas consistently slaps!
Sometimes it can take a while to order a drink when you’re at the bar. However, when you’re in a booth eating, there’s a lot of floor staff (really friendly) and they’re pretty on it.
Interior is gorgeous and we love a photo booth moment.

The smell of sewage hits you as you enter the bar.
20 minute wait for drinks ….
The bathrooms need a “jet wash” years and years or dirt and grimy filth and the stairs leading down to the bathrooms are so disgusting ! The smells just keep hitting you ! This bar needs closing down and cleaning it really smells and really shouldn’t be serving food. If that’s where every washed their hands.
BLUES KITCHEN - BRIXTON
Went to the Brixton version for a birthday with karaoke and we had such a great time we were catered to, the staff were fantastic, the food was great and it was easily accessible for wheelchair users! Highly recommended
Jordan and Sophia been fantastic with service
Sophia and Jordan made our experience one of a kind!
Couldn’t recommend Hip Hop Brunch Orchestra more. But more importantly, if you do go, Jordan and Sophia will do their best to make it a memorable evening.
Amazing time, amazing service
We had such a great time at Blues Kitchen Shoreditch for my mum’s birthday! Chris was an absolutely amazing waiter — so attentive, patient, and full of good vibes. His vibrant smile and positive energy really made the night special. The rest of the staff were also fantastic and helped make my mum’s birthday feel truly memorable. Please give Chris and the team the recognition they deserve — they’re a credit to Blues Kitchen!
This is a great little gem in Camden
This is a great little gem in Camden! We were there on Friday 08 August 2025. The vibe is very "American Diner" and the band was pretty decent playing a mixture of Motown, Soul & R&B covers. The food is absolutely delicious and the bar staff are on the ball, we got served quickly and it is service with genuine smiles. Honorable mention is our host Helen (with one L) she made us feel welcome and we felt special, she was quite funny and kept us engaged. Our server Mari, was very attentive and kept us topped up on drinks. We will definately visit again. Shout ot to the security who were also very friendly!
Blue Kitchen in Brixton
Initially experience in Brixton I was not allowed to order and pay for a pre order as had another appointment and wanted to save time by calling ahead.
I would have preferred to feedback directly but you don't have a feedback/ complaint email address.
The first waitress we found none engaging and intimidating but once we side tract her we had a waitress with lovely customer service skills.
Concerned that you allowed the first waitress to wear very short short and no bra in a venue for serving food. Sorry put off by staff inappropriate dress for the occasion and didn't look hygienic.
Food and drinks good and may return again. Please review my feedback. Thank you in advance
Erykah Badu & Gill Scott Manchester
Went to Erykah Badu and Gill Scott venue Manchester.
I have to give staff 10/10 for customer service and their security there was an issue before the event were someone had too much to drink and became aggressive.
After that was sorted the ladies that sang and their band played as if they were from heaven the night was absolutely fantastic.
It was my first time to the live event upstairs and I can assure you it will not be my last.
Blues Kitchen Manchester go over and above if you have a disability they have a designated area upstairs on the side of the stage which makes you feel very inclusive.
I also have to give praise to the female manager that was on staff that night she took us upstairs in the lift as I struggle with stairs.
Met up with some really lovely people Thank you for making it special night…
Different bottle wine that we ordered, served.
My friends had came for visit me from abroad and I had took them to Blues Kitchen as my favourite here. We ordered 2021 Rioja but they brought 2023 red wine different as in menu. For the red wine 2 years was important, I let them know about that. They said they will inform their manager but the manager never visit our table. The shame!
BK Shoreditch
I have been many time to the Shoreditch branch. The food is standardly good. The staff are nice some are exceptionally nice and go far and beyond to provide good service. The only thing i don't like is when i request to have no shaven ice left in my cocktail and there are two members of ataff that say i cant because its illegal.... (it waters it down too much for me and id rather use the space in my tummy for their food lol)
Other than that its a great hand out spot, nice music, nice vibe, cozy decor.
Come to Manchester for my 27th birthday…
Come to Manchester for my 27th birthday , blues kitchen really looked after us. Thaddeus customer services is something out of this world.
Really recommend
A bit disappointed this last visit
A bit disappointed this last visit. I have Brixton several times and twice to Camden. I have had some of the best food ever on my previous visits, but on my most recent visit on Friday 23-05-2025, it wasn't the best. This was at the Camden location.
The popcorn squid smelled & tasted fishy, so I only ate a couple of bites. The fried chicken & gravy was disappointing as well. The chicken had lots of fat running through it and put me off. The gravy was very watery. It is usually so good you could drink buckets of it. I can't fault the waitress at all, Amy & Helen were so lovely. I really don't like to complain, but feel I should let you know that the standards seem to have dropped.
Excellent
Came here for the first time for my wife’s birthday. Had an amazing experience, great service, great food, great music - made it memorable and special for us. Thank you so much!
Brilliant
My best friend and I have been dining at Blues Kitchen for some years now and always have a great time. We attended last night and enjoyed some amazing food and a really cool musical act. The night was made even more special by the young lady who served our table. Her name is Rose. She is an absolute sweetheart and bought the sunshine to our evening. To the guys running Blues Kitchen, Rose is a total credit to you! Thanks so much for a wonderful experience. And to the Chef, wow!! I can’t stop thinking about that steak!
Time for a Proper Night Out
Best Live Music and upstairs for Private Events. Wirth tuning in to see what's coming up. Manchester has it all with Blues Kitchen and The Oast Houst in Spinningfields
Wonderful birthday at Blues!
Had a wonderful birthday at Blues! Welcomed in, had a lovely table ready for us and was asked what we would like but we wasn’t ready so they came back after 5mins.
Two servers looked after us, Gracie and Charlie and both very LoVeLy and welcoming couldn’t ask for better! When we ordered our food and drinks they came quick, great food it was absolutely beautiful the ribs was MASSIVE and the sauce combination was perfect, crispy fries, the batter on the chicken looks very crispy but it’s actually soft and juicy was very surprised! ended with some deep fried Oreo 🫶 big shout to Quinn he’s a great chef!.
Olly thank you for looking after us…
Had a great evening at the Manchester branch and Olly was the hostess with the mostest. He was very attentive ensuring everything was ok couldn’t have done any more for us he was polite, helpful and nothing was too much trouble he is a credit to the business. Food was really good too, thank you again Olly 👏🏻
