Unfortunately I only got to do one…

Unfortunately I only got to do one class (which I loved) and then found out I had a miscarriage. I look forward to using Bloom when our time comes again to have a little one, hoping soon <3

So grateful for Bloom!

This group has been a such a blessing in preparing and becoming a first time mom. Not only do they focus on the supportive postures my body needs to carry out mom tasks, but they speak to moms' hearts' as well. I don't feel like I need to just push through a workout to be a super mom, but simply have an invitation each day to engage, get stronger, and steward my body in order to invest in the people and things I care about most! I especially found their birth prep classes fantastic mental and physical prep for birth! Thanks Bloom!

Fantastic program!

Wow! ! I joined the Bloom Method during pregnancy and continued postpartum. I loved how easy the app is to use and portable. The variety of classes for different parts of pregnancy, birth prep and postpartum is fantastic! I can’t wait to continue as my postpartum journey continues.

I’ve been using the Bloom method…

I’ve been using the Bloom method pre-natal catalogue for the last 4months and simply can’t express how much I love it! The classes are fun, diverse and most importantly, very effective. I especially appreciate the express options which make it difficult not to squeeze in 20 minutes of daily movement for yourself! Going into this pregnancy, one of my concerns was how to stay fit and healthy but Bloom has taken all of the worry out of it.. thank YOU Bloom method!!

great for prenatal and postpartum mamas!

The bloom method has taken all the guess work out of working out prenatally and postpartum and has made it a fun way to stay active. I love the variety of classes with different styles, goals and lengths. The app was great and made finding videos easy!

I am really enjoying the bloom method…

I am really enjoying the bloom method classes. They have plenty of options for the mood I am in that day. Makes me comfortable to workout knowing it is safe for pregnancy. Also, I love their pelvic floor exercises and how they divide workouts based on your situation : TTC, prenatal, post natal etc.

Great program for Moms!

Great program for pregnant and post partum moms. Each workout has different modifications to make it harder/easier to fit specific needs. The lengths vary from short to longer, but the express are so easy to fit into your day and you can combine different ones to make a full body workout. Highly recommend to all expecting and post partum moms for staying active.

I LOVE Studio Bloom!

I LOVE Studio Bloom! Utilizing Studio Bloom and all of the workouts (from yoga to BirthPrep to express classes) during my pregnancy has seriously made such a huge difference in regards to weight gain, staying connected to my core and pelvic floor, and feeling great throughout my pregnancy. I absolutely plan to keep my membership throughout my postpartum period. Thanks Studio Bloom!

Rave review from a second-time mom!

With my last pregnancy, I barely did any prenatal-specific workouts other than prenatal yoga, and, surprise surprise, my pelvic floor was a mess for a long time and I got back into competitive sports way later than I was hoping. I did work with a pelvic floor physical therapist and live personal training to get where I needed to be, eventually.

All of which made me interested in being more proactive during my second pregnancy. I thought about signing up for virtual personal training sessions + classes, but they are not cheap, and, importantly - while trying to juggle mothering a four-year-old, a full-time job as an exec at a tech startup, and pregnancy - the idea of being able to be online at specific times seemed daunting. My husband encouraged me to do just a few minutes of Google searching before forking over a personal training membership fee, and I am so. glad. he. did. It led me to finding Bloom! Between joining at the beginning of my third trimester and giving birth, I easily did 50-100 of the workouts. I love that I can do it on my own time and they cover a wide range between the breathing/core/pelvic floor work, cardio, strength, yoga, meditation... pretty much anything that I could want to do to get some solid, cross-functional training.

My birthing and recovery experience has been much smoother and Bloom gets much of the credit.

Bloom Collagen is transformative!

The Bloom Complete Collagen is outstanding! After just a couple weeks taking it daily in my protein shake I noticed a dramatic change in the vibrancy of my skin. After years of battling eczema and really rough skin specifically on the back of my hands, I'm completely amazed at how soft and smooth it is now, I simply can not stop starring at the back of my hands! I recommend this stuff to everyone.

Studio Bloom is Amazing!

I love Studio Bloom and would wholeheartedly recommend it to postpartum mothers - I have only used it postpartum myself, so I cannot speak as much to its efficacy for pregnant mothers, although I plan on continuing to use it once we decide to get pregnant again. After my first child was born, I tried to get back in shape, and managed to lose pretty much all of the baby weight, but I never felt as strong as I was before, especially in my core. Our second child is now almost 7 months old and I have been taking the Bloom Method online classes for about 4 months, and I feel so much stronger than I did after my first birth. Not only do I love the classes and how they have helped strengthen my body, but I also love how simply doing them every morning helps my mental wellbeing to that I truly feel like a stronger mama inside and out. Knowing that this fitness method is here for me, as a mother, really helps motivate me personally, and I am so appreciative that the wonderful women at the Bloom Method have made their classes available to everyone through their online studio. It is very convenient, as I don't have to leave my house to workout and can spend extra time with my family. It also makes it much easier to squeeze in a workout when I don't have a lot of time, partly because I can do it at home, and partly because the Bloom Method offers effective classes that are 30 mins and under. I love all the instructors, as they are very motivating and have all been in our position as postpartum/prenatal mamas. I really do feel a part of their caring community of mothers, even though I've never been to any classes in person. I cant say enough about how much I love and appreciate the Bloom Method - but I started out as a monthly subscriber, and recently purchased a year long subscription, because I know I'm going to want to keep on working out with them during and after pregnancy. The online studio is easy to use and the class variety is great - I especially love the strength classes, the core classes, and the new barre classes. Thank you Studio Bloom for great classes, an effective fitness methid, and a wonderful community of strong mamas! I feel cared for every day just opening the app and doing my workouts, and that is so important when you yourself are caring for little ones. I highly recommend Studio Bloom! Try it, you won't be sorry! They make workouts fun and you will be impressed with the renewed strength you have physically and mentally!:)

Dishonest. Will charge without notification

I had a year membership with Bloom. NO WHERE is it clear that it is a year SUBSCRIPTION. They charged me $240 without any reminder emails to let me know they were about to charge me again. When I asked for a refund, they said that it was my responsibility to add their email address to my contacts so that I received their emails. So, why did I get their other emails, but nothing about a renewal?

The exercises are really helpful for healing DR, but I feel taken advantage of and that this company is dishonest and doesn't care about their customers.

Hi Amy, we're sorry that you feel taken advantage of. Our support team sent you 2 different emails (as we do with all of our subscribers) on 2 different dates reminding you of your upcoming charge with the ability to cancel if you wished. While we wish we could be in control of making sure that our subscribers receive all of the emails we send, this is something that is completely out of our control based on the way emails work on the owners end. Our team wants nothing more than to support our moms and do everything we can to live in full transparency of our polices throughout your journey with Bloom. We hope that you can see that our intentions are pure but that as a business we do have policies that protect both us and our subscribers in the best ways possible. We wish you nothing but the best in your journey!

Great knowledge in the foundations, I just wish the whole program was better

Background: When I'm not pregnant, I primarily do CrossFit and yoga to work out. I'm still doing some garage CrossFit, but heavily modified (empty barbell or dumbbell, no gymnastic movements or Olympic Lifting, and of course modified intensity). I was interested in Bloom because I wanted some accessory work to support my core through pregnancy, and because of the pandemic prenatal yoga classes are all online in my city.

The good: The foundations courses gave me a lot of great information for using my core in all kinds of workouts and I will definitely use that knowledge throughout my pregnancy. I feel like even though I cancelled my prenatal membership after two months, I may return to Bloom for support with postpartum rehab. The app is beautiful and easy to use.

The not-so-good: Some of the prenatal classes ask you to spend a lot of time on your back, which isn't advised after 17-20 weeks. I wish there were clearer modifications, or that those classes weren't listed in the prenatal section. I also wish there were more and longer yoga classes. That's what I really was excited about, and this just isn't the program for that. Lastly, there isn't a huge diversity of race or body type from the instructors and demo folks.

I think there is a lot of great knowledge here, but I don't think it's worth $30 a month... yet. Maybe it will be when they include more programming.

Hi Natasha,

Thanks for sharing your feedback - We're sorry that you didn't feel safe lying on your back but this is a guideline that is very outdated and doesn't serve the majority of pregnant women. Most expecting women can be on their backs comfortably for 5-10 mins without any issue and none of our back lying exercises last more than 2 mins. Some of the classes that contain moves like this do offer a simple modification of propping yourself up with pillows if you are one of the small percentage of women who experiences discomfort lying on you back. Bloom is all about empowering women and teaching women to listen to their bodies is vital from our perspective. Its great to question things but we can promise that everything we teach out prenatal moms comes from a very expertise level and deep understanding of the pregnant body (and our babies). We'd be happy to answer any questions you have about this specific guideline if you want to email us :)

We also have 3 BIPOC women on our team as coaches (Georgette for example is going live on our app next week with 30-40 min yoga classes). We work very hard at including as many BIPOC women in our branding, and on studio bloom but with our headquarters being in Boulder, Colorado it can be challenging at times.

We hope you find what you need in another prenatal program but are always happy to support you if you wish you choose us again!

Working Out with Confidence

I am really enjoying the classes! I'm in my first pregnancy and I have been unsure about what exercises are safe to do. Studio Bloom is a great solution for feeling confident that everything you are doing is OK for pregnant women. The classes are challenging but there are always modifications offered. I really like all the instructors so far. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the price. I do think that the price is slightly high for the value.
